Prologue
Estranged Occurrences
As a boy, Natsu Dragneel wandered through the caves when he heard a dragon growl, then strike the ground with its tail. The sound startled him, but he still pressed on after breaking into a run, only to end up running into the great Igneel. He was happy to see him, but then everything faded away and he was alone. Some years later, after he was transported from his time, he soon came into contact with Makarov Dreyar, who took him in and raised him as his own, and introduced him to his guild, Fairy Tail. That was many years ago. Now, in the present timeline, Natsu lay in what looked like a cell, with a single torch as his only source of light. It looked as if he had been through a horrible nightmare, despite being bound in chains. Below was Sora Lucis Caelum, a Keyblade Master who was the son of King Regis and Queen Selena. He was born in the capital city of Lucis, Insomnia, but after a tragic event, both he and his mother were spirited away to Destiny Islands to be kept safe from a darker superpower, making them think that the line of Lucis was gone. Regis, however, left them on that day, asking that his son be raised with happiness, and looked after by those who would be with him, and become his first true friends. He was also the one whom many girls had flocked to, such as Kairi, The human Twilight Sparkle who had once become Midnight Sparkle, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Minako Aino, Momo Yaoyorozu, Compa, Yuna Yuki, Kyrie Canaan, Asuka, Yumi, Madoka Kaname, and Leafa. Of course, he'd always write to some of them, as well as Princess Twilight from Equestria. Now, he was searching for his friends, all of which had been taken captive by someone he now truly despised. He had experienced a lot of things, some good, some bad, and some that were truly tragic, such as the death of Nehelenia, Galaxia, and Homura Akemi. These events had shaped him into the man that he had become now. However, even after his stay in Quadratum, and his eventual return to destroy the Lost Masters, there were newer threats continuing to rise. He had made many friends in his adventures, and even formed his own team of Keyblade Wielders called Team SKYYYLAARC from many other warriors, he also knew of others who had blood links to some of his most hated enemies, such as Sephiroth, Xehanort, and many more. As for one of these events, Hyena Razor Droid had managed to put him into a near death like state, which resulted in the awakening of his hidden powers, which one of his rivals, Prince Demande of the Black Moon Clan, called the Power of Kings. It was mostly because of his desire to protect another of his best friends, Usagi Tsukino, also known as the Pretty Guardian of Love and Justice, Sailor Moon, whom she named as one of her brave and loyal knights.
"Is anybody there!?" he called.
The cell shook violently, sending crashing into the walls, both in front, behind, above, below, and side to side. Finally, the floor gave way, and he saw what was going on. Below was Sora, in his Equestrian Form.
"Are you alright, Natsu?" he asked, as the wind whistled past his ears.
"I would be if I wasn't so high up," Natsu replied in shock.
He was soon tumbling about in his cell, as the bird flew off on the orders of its master. Another chunk of the floor gave way, this time showing that he was indeed in trouble.
"Think, Natsu. You need some power," he said.
He saw the torch, and struggled up to get it with his mouth. As a dragon slayer, fire would always make him empowered. He fell down out of the block, but managed to consume the flame, which melted the chains, breaking him free. Now was the time to fight the bird that was carrying him.
"Alright you ugly featherbrain!" snapped Natsu, grabbing it by the lower feathers.
They crashed into a bridge, with Sora following behind.
"It was over from the moment you put this wizard in your little cage," he added firmly.
"And now, it ends here," added Sora.
"I agree. Now bear witness to the power of two members of FAIRY TAIL!" they cried, as they struck back at the bird.
