September 21, 1978: At around 7:42pm an explosion at The Richmond Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada had caused tremendous damage to the hotel and had caused 72 injuries and 5 deaths in total. The people who caused the explosion later got into a shootout with police minutes after they exploded the hotel; the shootout had injured 4 policemen and killed 5 out of the 7 people involved with the incident; The 2 who survived from their wounds later were arrested and sentenced to life in prison. Their reasons as to why they committed the horrific acts are not known as of now but are believed to be retaliation against the government.
