night closed in as lady tsunade was about to head to her chambers, when suddenly a note came from under the door.
'what in the world...?' she thought as she opend the letter.when she read the note,she gasped. it read:
lady tsunade,
you don't know me but I know you, but fortunately I am not after you so there is no need to send a team to find me because,in a way, i don't exist. the only person I am after is a member of the huuga clan and I have no intention to kill her, so there is no reason to alert the clan. by this time tomorrow night I will make my first apearence and let the huuga clan know who to respect.

'w-who could have wrote this?' she tought afraid, then letter clasped in her hands she fainted.

the next day was hinata huga's birth day and her father had arranged a Masquerade party in case some ''unwanted visitor'' came. but other than that hinata was happy for the party,but unfortunately a certian boy would not be there. night closed in as the guests started to arrive and hinata was happy to see all of her friends but was still unhappy. Then as the music started a boy in a dogs mask came and asked her to dance. she was uncertian at first but decided that she should in case her father disgraced her again.
" so are you enjoying the festivities?" kiba inozuka asked.
"I-I guess so." hinata said not looking at him.
" hey why so glum my dear? are you still worried about that failure naruto?"
" n-naruto is not a failure!! he is the most honest man I know!" she said infuriated.
" why you little-" but was stoped short as a kuni was at his throat.
" one hand on her sir and I will kill you where you stand." said a man in a red mask with fangs at the cheeks.
" who the hell-?" kiba started to say, but as he turned around the man he saw horrified him.
" y-you're the phantom!" the dog boy said. at the last word everyone gasped.
" indead." the phantom said removing the kuni form the boys throught and bowed. he turned to see everyone looking at him.
" is this not a party? we should be having fun." the phantom said and jumped in the air and threw a kuni at kiba but when he flinched, the wepon flew up in the air cutting a peice of kiba's mask off. then it saidled into the air and exploded into confetti and sparkleing letters spelling 'happy birth day hinata'. everyone cheered as the specticale appeared and faided away. when the phantom landed he said "my gift to you, my lady." and kissed her on the hand. she blushed a little at the gesture. she knew the man from some where but could not figure out who it was.
"well, that was some performance, phantom." said lord hiashi from behind him.
'oh,no please don't be angry.' hinata thought. the phantom turned and smiled at the man before him and said " why thank you, my lord, it was a plesure." and kneeled respectfully. hiashi smiled at this and said " and well mannerd too," and walked off. hinata sighed as her father turned away. when she looked up though, she found the phantom standing in front of her with an outstreached hand.
" may I dance with the lady of the house?" he asked. again she felt as if she knew this man before. was it the hair?
"o-of course." she said and took his hand and they both walked onto the floor. when the music started they starded to waltz.
" i know what your thinking." the cloked man whisperd in her ear. " if you come with me after this dance I will reveal something to you."
Hinata just kept dancing as if she were in a trance. the phantom smiled and continued to lead. when the music stoped he said " come to the old uchiha mantion and there I will be." and walked her to her former partner.
" well all," he said to everyone in the room, " I hate to leave such an occasion but I must be off." and with that he disapeared in a puff of smoke.

who could the phantom be? hinata thought as she went to the mantion she was tld to arrive at. as she waled into the building she saw it was compleatly dark inside.
"hello?" she called.
"in here my dear." the phantom called. hinata waled toward the source of the sound. when she entered the room where she heard the man coming from, she saw it was compleatly coverd in photos and drawings of herself.
"I see you've found my gallery." the phantom said from behind her. when she turned around hinata saw he was dressed in a tux shirt and black pants and shoes.
"w-what is all this?" she asked.
" my obsession." he said clamly.
" obsession?"
"yes. you see the first time we met I first thought you were just odd. then while I was gone I realized how you felt."
" I-I don't understand we-"
"ah but that is where you are wrong."and he lifted his left hand to his face and removed his mask to reveil a scard boy.
"Naruto?!" she said in aw.
"yes hinata, its me." he said giving her his signature grin.
"bu-but how?"
" well the pervy sage and I came back early from my finished training. but that was not the only reason I came back." naruto said and walked toward her and placed his hands on her sholders.
"the other reason I came back was because I finaly realized, I love you hinata huuga."
"oh, naruto!" she cried and they kissed. when the kiss ended naruto said " hinata, how I could have missed your beauty I have no clue. but I must tell you something."
"what is it my love?" she asked.
"Hinata, the akatski are after me and while on my way back they ambushed us and gave me this." he poined to the slanted scar on his face. "and if they found out about us they could kill you and I wont have that happen. now I ask you to tell no one. for if the village found out who the phantom is, It could put everyone in danger. do you understand?"
" yes but I-"
"hinata you must trust me, if intelegence about me being back in the village gets to the akatski they could use me to destroy the village."
"alright, I won't tell a soul."
"good, now go I will see you tomorrow night."

kiba was walking out on the street angry with the phantom and how he humilliated him in public.
" so, the phantom exists." said a voice.
" who's there?" kiba asked. then a boy with the same eyes as hinata steped from out of the tree he was behind.
"oh, neji it's you." kiba laphed then he rememberd what he had said. " what do you know about the phantom?"
"I know he had humilliated you at the party and that you despretly want him 'out of the picture' shall we say?"
"you mean kill him? b-but I can't do that shure I 'm mad at him for humilliating me but thats no reason to commit murdder." kiba said shocked.
"well I guess you won't find out who he is then." neji said and started to walk off.
"wait. what do you want me to do?" kiba asked.
"go to the uchiha mantion, in the lower levels is where he lives. and when he is alone, kill him. then hinata is yours.''
" why are you telling me this neji?"
"we are friends arent we?" neji said smerking.and with that kiba went and did as he was told. then when kiba was gone the man that was sopposedly neji turned into pain.
"soon phantom, the boy will find out who you are and the kiubi will be mine."

it was the next night and hinata was in her room awaiting for her loves arrival. soon there was a chink at the window and hinata opend the doors and naruto steped into her room.
''greatings my love." naruto said and kissed her.
"naruto please not here." hinata giggled but kissed him back.
"are you ready?" he said and outstreached his hand to her.
hnata nodded and they clasped hands and juped out the window the wind streeming past their faces. when they landed in the street next to the huuga esate, naruto took out a blindfold and wraped it arround her eyes.
"naruto-?"
"shhh." he said, "its a surprize." then they walked silently to a place naruto had picked out for his plan. then when they arrived naruto took the fold of hinata and when she could see again her beloved was on his knee.
'oh my god! is he-?' she thought then her answer was reveald.
"hinata, every time I was away I couldn't stop thinking of this day." then he took out a red velvet case and opened it to reveil a ring.
hinata gasped and looked at him.
"hinata will you marry me?" naruto said. then she fell to her knees and kissed him multiple times adn when she stoped she said " yes." then with joy naruto picked her up and swung her around in his arms and when he finaly put her down he said " this is where i beleave we should be wed. dose it suit you?"
"it dose."
'' great." but he stoped short as he was hit with a dart and fell to the ground.
"naruto!" hinata screamed. then a chuckle came from the man who had shot her betrohted. it came from kiba.
"kiba. why?" she sobbed.
"this freak humiliated me! now i'm going to find out who he realy is! and ran forward to the phantom and removed his mask to find it was none other than naruto.
"wh-what?! naruto is the phantom?!" then a siister laph came from neji.
" neji?!" hinata said shocked.
" you! you knew this all along!" kiba shouted.
" yes. I did. and now that the kyubi berrer is dead I dont need this desguise annymore." and in a puff of smoke neji turned into pain. then in a flash pain knocked kiba on the side of the head and sent him spralling on the ground.
"kiba!" hinata squealed but was cut short by pain's hand clasping arroun her throught.
"so, youre the one hes been after." he chuckled,"This will be fun." and he started to squease her neck.
"let-her-go-you-jerk!" naruto said cophing.
"what?!" pain gasped then in fury he droped hinata and ran toward the boy.pain gave him multiple kicks on his body. then when he was a few feet away pain steped on him and said " how can you still be alive?!"
"simple. I'm the phantom." then he grabbed pain by the ankle and threw him off and into a tree. then he summond his kyubi form and beat him but before the final blow, pain dissapeared.

days later after kiba had been interrigated and treated for his wounds, there was a big serimony in hounor of naruto's return.
"today is a great day in konoha. the conjoining of the two family's uzimaki and hugga." said tsunade.( she was in a coma for awhile but when she came to and found out who the phantom was and was asked to be the spokeswoman for their marrige she agreed.)" if there is anny one man who thinks these two should not be wed-"
"are you kidding? c'mon naruto, get your girl!" said lee. at this everyone cheered.
" then i pronoune you man and-"
"wait!" said a voice and then hiashi huuga came onto the hilltop. " i will not allow my daughter to marry this-this freak! and furthermore-" then a fist came into his face. whe hiashi looked up he found out that is was hinata who had hit him.
"hinata! y-you hit me!" hiashi said.
"father, you may not approve of my life choice,but I love naruto and he loves me and if that bothers you then I nolonger consider myself a member of the hugga clan." hinata said. hiashi was in shock that his own daughter was standing up to him.
"hinata..." he said standing up."i could not be more proud of you." and he gave her a hug.
"father, I don't understand..."
"hinata, the only reason i was so hard on you was not only to see you fulfill your destiny but to also make you strong. and now I can be a better man knowing that you have suceeded in that." hiashi said smileing.
" thank you father." hinata said tears in her eyes and huged him back.
"ahem, If you don't mind we have a wedding to continue." tsunade said.
