chapter 4

Things were pretty quiet today at the base not much was going on and then the alarm went off. A relic has been detected and now it was time to go into action. They were headed to the rocky mountains. "Here we are the rocky mountains." Hannah said.

"Boy it's chilly here," Demolisher said.

"Mountains tend to be cold because the higher up you are than sea level the colder it gets," Noah explained.

"Now we have to find that relic," Diantha said.

"Hmm," Scavenger said.

"Is something up Scavenger?" Chainsaw asked.

"No," Scavenger said.

"Are you waiting for something?" Hot shot asked.

"You will soon see," Scavenger said.

They started to search for the relics. Then they saw something it was Maim and the other Conquerdriods. "Well look what we have here some Autobots and Decepticons looking for a relic but we shall get it," Maim said. "Droids attack," he said.

They started to battle. Hot shot was sword fighting Maim when Cutter came up behind him. "Hot shot look out," Demolisher said tackling into cutter.

"You curses big wrecking ball!" Cutter shouted.

"Thanks Demolisher," Hot shot said.

Then a fast bot came zipping out of no where and started to blast things. He was a sharp shot. He was blasting the droids and keeping them at bay.

"Right on time," Scavenger said.

"You know this guy?" Cyclonus asked him.

"Yes his name is Blurr I helped train him, he is a skilled warrior and excellent sniper," Scavenger said.

Demolisher found the relic and the droids were irritated. "Retreat!" Maim shouted.

"Hello Blurr," Scavenger said. "Good to see you again," he said.

"Good to see you too Scavenger," Blurr said.

"It has been a long time where is this partner you told me about called Sand-dune?" Scavenger said.

"He was killed by some droids when I came in we were ambushed by a few of them we landed here. I got out fine but Sand-dune wasn't so lucky," Blurr said.

"I am sorry to hear about that Blurr," Scavenger said.

"Don't be like I said I think it is best for me to work alone even when I am part of a unit," Blurr said.

"What is with this guy?" Side swipe asked.

Once back at the base Blurr was very standoffish. "What is your problem, everyone is trying to be friendly but you are pushing them away what is your issue?" Hannah asked.

"In case you hadn't noticed when I get friendly with bots and become their friends and they work with me on the battlefield they get hurt so basically I can't afford to get close to anybody I lost three seasoned partners I don't want add anyone else to that score card," Blurr said and walked away.

"Wow talk about a gloomy Gus," Diantha said.

"I don't blame him for acting that way, I think he feels he is jinxed," Noah said.

"I think you are right about that," Hannah said.

Blurr was not very friendly still and everyone was thinking they shouldn't be friends with Blurr and were bad mouthing him. Maybe I should just leave and find bots who actually care why I am like this. Blurr thought and was going to leave and didn't see Lisa follow him out and keep following him.

"Guys Blurr is the grumpiest and rudest bot I ever might I don't want to fight along side him or get to know him or play a game with him during free time," Side swipe said.

"Guys that is not nice," Hannah said.

"Hannah is right you guys don't know much about Blurr and why he acts the way he does," Scavenger said. "Let me tell you all about him, when he was child his parents, brother and sister were killed in front of him, he was an orphan on the streets and treated badly by the population and I found him and trained him. He became a skilled soldier, he joined the army and had a partner named Longshot who he worked well with and was killed on the battlefield when, he and Blurr were going to snipe some enemies. Then sometime afterwards he was partnered with another bot called Turnabout and he was killed when he and Blurr were captured and interrogated by a Cybertronain who worked with off world enemies. Blurr didn't want to partner with anyone else and no one wanted to partner with him thinking he was bad luck, so Blurr decided to work a lone from that day forward because he heard them talking and didn't realize he was nearby and heard what they said. I scold them telling many bots lost many partners and many times it was not either of the partners fault, sometimes terrible things happen and sometimes even when a partner does all they can to help their partner one of them gets killed it is a sad fact of war. They felt pretty bad for how the had been talking and treating Blurr. Then Blurr partnered with Sand-dune a bot who lost many partners of his own and was empathic, so he knew how Blurr felt and now Sand-dune is gone." he said. "Now imagine if all that happened to you," he said.

"We had no idea," Demolisher said.

"We all have bad memories because of the war and such and bad experiences too, we shouldn't be so quick to judge," Hot shot said.

Then Noah came in. "Has anyone seen Lisa? I can't find her anywhere," Noah said.

"Kind of think of it I haven't see Blurr either," Jetfire said. They found a note apparently Blurr ran away they went to find him.

A bit later Blurr saw Lisa had followed him and she was being friendly with him and nice and she seem not to mind his behavior. She cheered him up. He decided to head back with Lisa who had convinced him.

They met each other at the halfway point. "Lisa," Noah said.

"She followed me," Blurr said.

"Lisa don't ever do anything like that again little sis, you scared me half to death," Noah said.

"I'm sorry," Lisa said.

"Blurr we're sorry about how we acted towards you, and how we talked about you, we shouldn't have done that," Cylconus said.

"Scavenger told us you story and we now understand, we will try to work with you and help you get past the demons of the past like we do for each other, because we all have done things in our past or had things in our past happen that we wished never happened," Hot shot said.

"Thanks guys," Blurr said. "I shouldn't have run away I should've told you how I felt," he said. "I never been good about sharing what I think or feel," he said.

"We can understand how you feel Jinxed but we all can feeling Jinxed at times," Hannah said.

"Don't I know it," Stanley said.

The other humans, Autobots and Decepticons agreed.

Blurr came back and everyone got to know him and he got to know them. Things were improving now and getting better.
