Do you love me? Part 1
It was Saturday. Addison had to go to work, so Zed offered to keep their 12 year old daughter company.
"Dad, can you come up here please?" Zara called from upstairs. Without hesitation, Zed stopped what he was doing to check on his dead angel, Zara. "What do you need sweet pea?" He asked
"I need to talk to you about something."
"What is it?" He asked his daughter. "So for a few years, I've been doubting your love for me." Zed was shocked to hear this. "Why?"
"Well I feel like I must be as pretty as mom to know that you love me." The 12yo said. "I also feel like you love mom more than me. And I also feel like at one point, you'll stop loving me."
Zed then began. "Pumpkin, you are just as beautiful as mom and I love both my girls equally! No matter who you are or what you look like, you're always beautiful. I want you to know that. And I'll never stop loving you. No matter what. I love you to the end of the universe."
"Thank you, Dad" Zara said "You don't have to thank me. I'm just doing my job as a father: Loving my daughter."
