It had been a few weeks after their test from Asuma and in that time they had been getting some D rank missions from the Hokage who happened to be Asuma's Father. they had helped the people in Kohnoha take care of their gardens, chased after the Fire Lord's wife's cat, and other civilian duties of which Micheru didn't mind but even he had a limit. they were going to the Hokage's office to receive a new mission.

"Okay. let's see what we have here. the Fire Lord's wife lost her cat Tora again, a lady need's the weeds pulled from her garden, a man needs aid for he was in an accident and needs Physical Therapy-" The Hokage started off.

"Hokage-sama if I may interrupt, couldn't these missions be done by a civilian rather than a ninja? Not that I mind it once in a while but it's starting to get a little repetitive." Micheru said.

"Hmmm. I guess I could allow that. Thank you for your input Micheru." the Hokage said.

"thank you sir." Micheru said.

"now as far as your mission...hmm. well, there's a supposed to be a coup-DE-tat in the Fire Lords Palace,or so I have heard, during a party celebrating his wife's birthday in a few weeks. what do you say to that?" he asked.

"I find that acceptable." Micheru said.

"I don't mind. It might give me a chance to dress up." Ino said getting giddy.

"I'm not usually one for parties but if I have to I will." Shikamaru said.

"then it's settled then we leave for the Fire Lords palace as soon as possible." Asuma said. the Team nodded as they filed out of the Tower and went off to their homes to prepare.

'oh man, this might be my only chance to tell Ino how I feal about her. but what do I do?' Micheru thought.

it had taken a few days to get to the Fire Lord's Palace but they had finally made it.

"Alright everyone, First we find a hotel to stay at then we introduce ourselves to the Fire Lord and say we're here to help him." Asuma said.

"Right Sensei." the group said. they started to look for a hotel that would take them and surprisingly close to the palace.

"well, that was lucky." Ino said as Asuma took the room keys from the clerk.

"Just be glad we have been part of the fire nation or else we wouldnt get a room at all." Shikamaru said. after they got settled in Asuma said they could take a few hours off since he found out the fire lord was prepareing for the party.

"well, I'm going to take a look around town and see if I can find an escape route if we have to leave quickly." Ino said.

"hold up Ino, I'll come with you." Micheru said and followed her.

It had taken a while to find a decent escape route but they finally did.

"hey Ino, can we stop for a minute?" Micheru asked.

"yeah but why?" Ino asked.

"because I want to tell you a few things." he said seriously.

"oh. ok." she said.

"well, First off I wasn't always blind. I could see at one time but then one day as I was coming home from school I took a short cut into a shipping plant that I didn't know was going on. one of the forklifts swerved to avoid me but cut a barrel of some chemical and it got into my eyes turning me blind. after I was hospitalized I secretly trained my senses so I could function but I found out through my sense of sound I had a radar sense and could see outlines of objects. then one day I was out in my favorite part of the city and it started to rain. then in the split second the rain fell in sheets it was like I could see again." he said.

"wow. that's kinda cool." she said.

"It's about to rain now. I can smell it in the air. and, If it's okay, I'd like to see you." he said.

"Me? but why?" she asked.

"I'll tell you when I see you. Here it comes." he said and took off his glasses revealing his grey eyes as it started to pour. he looked down at Ino and was shocked at what he "saw".

"My God...You are so beautiful." he said as he reached up and touched her face.

"You..You really think so?" she asked.

"I could only guess by the sound of your voice that you were. but now that I can see you, I can confirm that guess. Ino Yamanaka,you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." Micheru said. Ino looked at him in shock and adoration. then only realizing it when it ended, she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on the lips. Micheru was shocked at her forwardness but accepted it anyway. when she stopped she blushed.

"I'm sorry." she said blushing.

"Don't be. I liked it." he said chuckling.

"you did?" she asked. he nodded.

"C'mon the others might be worried about us." Micheru said.

"right." Ino said and followed him back to the hotel.
