This chapter takes place right after "Yawn" from Book 1: Morf Z ot A.

Recognized: Batman - 02

"Team report for a mission." -Artemis, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Miss Martian and Super Boy gather up.

"Where are Robin and Zatanna?" -The Team looks at each other, it was weird for them not to see the couple standing there or at least Robin next to Batman.

"I guess they are still sleeping…" -Artemis comments.

"But Batman, please don't wake them up." -The Martian sends a pleading look.

"Yeah, Zatanna hasn't sleep that well and Bird Boy has been really overworking himself lately." -Artemis was well aware of Zee's struggles to rest since she moved in to the cave.

"Batman, I'm sure whatever the mission is, we can handle it ourselves." -Kaldur steps in and advocates for his friends.

"Infiltrate and report. This mission is a cover one and for once don't explode anything. It's crucial that no one finds out about you." -Batman goes to the zeta tube.

"Did we…?" -Artemis couldn't believe it.

"We convinced Batman of letting them sleep?!" -Wally knows Batman for the longest time and couldn't get out of his shock.

"They own us big time. Say…"

"Should we make sure that they are sleeping safe and sound?"

"Didn't we just have a conversation yesterday about boundaries? We are leaving now."

"But…"

"No buts. What would we do if we wake them up? They do need to rest." -The Team couldn't argue more with Kaldur and sprinted to Bioship.

Zatanna was starting to wake up, she couldn't remember falling asleep. The last thing she remembers was trying to get Robin to sleep and lying down next to him. Her eyes almost fell out of their place realizing that she sleeps with Robin and just now she realizes that she feels someone hugging her from her waist and something else poking her thigh. She reddens realizing that she was spooning with Robin and what's poking her. She was comfortable under his embrace but tries to readjust herself.

"Zee…" -She panics for a moment thinking that he was waking up but realizes that he was calling out her name in his sleep. Robin hugs her tighter without hurting her and rolls to the other side dragging her with him. Somehow Zee landed on top of him as Robin was deep in sleep. She notices that he was still wearing his Robin uniform and she was in her normal outfit.

"How can we fall asleep dressed like this? Oh well. Raewpeels No" -She cast the spell like a whisper to avoid waking him up. She changed both attires leaving both of them in matching tank tops and short shorts but let Robin with his mask on. She hasn't had a sleep like this in so long that she thought that she might as well enjoy it. She could deal with the awkwardness later, she puts her leg over him and readjusts herself in his chest, making herself more comfortable and dozes off to dreamland.

"What? Where am I?" -Robin was starting to regain consciousness. He feels someone over him and looks down to see the magician of his dreams peacefully sleep on top of him.

"What in the world—" -Colours left his face as she starts to move but it was only her getting more comfortable on top of him. He takes his time to analyse her features and moves her hair out of the way to completely see her face.

"You are really amazing, y'know." -He decides to vent a little, sharing a piece of his mind now that she was sleeping in his arms.

"And God, you are so beautiful…all that training to keep my emotions in check, and you throw that out of the window the moment you set foot in the cave." -Unbeknownst to him, Zatanna was wide awake. His movement make her wake up but decided to play along to avoid the awkwardness of sleeping together. And she was hearing every word and trying to hold her smile.

"I'm glad that you are resting…I know that it has been hard for you, but you are not alone. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere…" -She moved a little more and starts acting like she's just waking up stretching a little.

Yawn*

"Good morning, Boy Wonder." -She just keeps her place on top of him.

"He-he-heya, Zee."

"Hey…Did you have a good rest?" -She was dying inside but was controlling herself.

"Yeah, actually, I did." -She just hums in response.

"Well…let me tell you that you drag me down with you and since I'm such a good teammate I decided to make you company…"

"Well, you don't look so distressed, it seems that you are enjoying yourself. Have a good sleep?" -She got red in embarrassment for a moment.

"As a matter of fact, I did. You are a good pillow; I didn't know that it was part of the Boy Wonder's skill set."

"And I have many more skills under my belt…" -Robin went beet red realizing the meaning behind his words.

"'No! Wait! What I mean…" -She just moves herself to keep sleeping and tries to ignore the poking feeling on her leg.

Shhh*

"I don't know what time it is but I really have to catch up some sleep…so be a good pillow and be quiet."

"But!"

Shh*

"Pillows do not talk." -He figured out that if there was an emergency Batman would have already burst through the door and who can say no to good napping session with this amazing girl.

"What's wrong with you two?!" -Finally, the couple got out of the room to have lunch.

"Did someone entered the Cave and knock you two out cold?!" -Wally was more surprised about Batman allowing that.

"You almost sleep for a full ass day!"

"Hey! It's what happened when Zee and I, have to carry with you Arty and Kid Mouth."

"Your obliviousness towards each other's feelings is really tiring."

"WE DO NOT-!"

"HEY!"

"I'M THE ONE TALKING." -And just like that Zee and Dick manages to shift the topic and let Spitfire fighting.

"We are having lunch. Are you joining us?"

"Sure."

"I can't. I must check up with Bats, I'm probably a lot of training waiting for me and patrolling…"

"But it was so worthy and would do it again…" -He gets close and whispers to Zee's ear.

"You better. See you around…" -With that Robin left the Cave.

"Someone is happy. I get that you didn't have any nightmare…" -Zee responds Megan with a smile as she starts eating her food.
