I love the Detective Pikachu movie it was awesome despite many things So My OC Carter Drake is Harry Potter's paternal Cousin Carter's Mother, rose is James Potter's younger sister. So this takes place after the Movie and after Howard Clifford's arrest, Trainers, Pokeballs and Battles which once were prohibited have been permitted to but to an extent Pokeballs, are permitted for transport to the Pokemon like Snorlax for Example to the Pokemon Center for treatment and to prevent their partners from being captured if travelling outside the City, and Capture is permitted only outside the City, Battles are permitted for sport, exercise and bonding but only The Pokemon World Coronation Series is the only form of Pokemon Competition permitted (This is due to Ryme City being in an unnamed Region.). So I don't own Pokemon, or Harry Potter so enjoy.

Chapter 1: Welcome Home

Carter Drake, was in his room still asleep in the apartment they lived in with his parents Emily and Aaron

as he felt a nudge. " Common Pikachu, really?" He asked his

" Pikaaaaa!" Pikachu said charging up to attack.

" Alright, Alright I'm up." Carter's partner is a Pikachu.

His father had died when he was a year old, His mother Emily is an Auror and a Witch, her partner is a Gardivuere that can Mega Evolve. his Father Aaron is both an Aura Guardian and a Detective with his Lucario as his partner. Carter has Blonde hair, Blue eyes and Caucasian skin. his room had a second bed for Emily's nephew Harry Potter, Emily fought for custody but in the end she was only granted visitation rights on summer and winter holidays, and he was not permitted a Pokemon Partner as per Vernon and Petunia's insistence. " Well, Detectives Baker, Goodman, Lt. Yoshida and Miss Blackstone are helping build a case." Carter said petting his Partner. " Right under the Dursley's agents nose." We may not be allowed to expose them directly due to their restraining order on your mother and I but with the photos of Harry's bruises and we can file for full Custody."

He got dressed in a Legendary tank top, a pair of Blue shorts and a red a vest with a white collar and stripe, then slipped on his Red, Black and White Running Shoes. Today Harry was coming to spend the summer unaware how long he was staying. Carter went to the living room where he was greeted by his father cooking breakfast. " 'Morning Dad." he said as Lucario put him in a hug Lucario was wearing a wrist braver with a Lucarionite set into it. Aaron looked like his son but had Hazel eyes rather then blue, Raven Hair and Caucasian skin, which was a shock because Emily had Jet Black hair, Brown eyes and fair skin but he is indeed Aaron' son which Aaron and Lucario confirmed with an Aura Reading. " Good morning kiddo, your mother, got called away for an emergency so you and I are gonna pick him up." he explained as Lucario hugged the boy then let him eat. " And one more photo and yes today will be the day." He explained. " Also I got him his Homecoming present." He said, holding up a Blue Rotom Phone.

" My present is gonna be introducing him to his Partner." Carter said. After breakfast, he went to his room pulled out a figure and placed it in a package with holes in the top, then grabbed his Backpack and Red, Rotom Phone as Pikachu leapt onto his shoulder. They arrived at Tahnti Station, Carter was typing on his Phone.

" What are you doing, Son?" Aaron asked.

" Signing up for the Pokemon World Coronation Series." He explained. " Thought I'd do it while I wait." He said. The Train soon arrived. " Chupi!" Pikachu said leaping off Carter' shoulder and racing to someone in the crowd, and a thin looking boy with Jet black hair, emerald eyes wearing taped glasses and baggy clothes arrived. He walked up to them moved his shirt so His Uncle could get good shots of the bruises Vernon had inflicted on him. " You doing alright Harry?" Carter asked. As Aaron sent them to the Detective Agency who made copies and sent them to the Galarian CPS. Galar has a location called Trugik, which Pokemon never go to and are forbidden entirely. Carter then gave him his package. When Harry opened ita small,mammalian, quadrupedalPokémonwith primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. Eevee has brown eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose kept out and nuzzled him with love and licked his face with affection. It's tail

The marking on the tip of it's tail is flower-shaped. " Eevee!" Harry said excitedly hugging her. Eevee just nuzzled and licked his face affectionately. Eevee was Harry' secret Partner, when he and Carter were seven and Pikachu had just evolved from Pichu. Eevee just leapt into Harry's lap and chose him the two even merged during the R gas phenomena as did Carter with Pikachu.

" Eevee is now Registered to your Pokedex!" Harry's Phone said.

" Common, let's get you into something more your size." Aaron said, handing him a small box. Harry opened it and out flew his Rotom Phone. " Also I have a case in Sinnoh how would you boys like to come?" He asked.

Carter and Harry cheered. Suddenly Carter tripped and a Pokeball fell out of his backpack a Charmander saw it tapped the button turning it on, he tapped it again and was sucked the light then went from yellow to green. Carter's phone then pinged. " Charmander has been registered too your Pokedex." It said in a male voice. Carter tapped it Image in his phone as he picked up the Pokeball containing his new Pokemon. " Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon. Charmander's health can be gauged by the fire on the tip of its tail, which burns intensely when it's in good health." After that the trio along with Pikachu and Lucario were packed and off to Sinnoh. " So Harry when we get to Sinnoh why don't we build you a Team?" Carter asked.

" Alright." Harry said. Harry was wearing a white T-Shirt with a stylized H Unown under a blue vest, blue olive cargo shorts, and a pair of black and white sneakers. that actually fit and a green backpack.

" You may be able to." Aaron said. " If all goes according to plan all the terms The Dursley's made of your visits will be null and void." He said. getting an update on his Rotom Phone. " And your Aunt and Uncle are now arrested your Cousin is with his Aunt aaaaaand..." He paused. " Carter's mother filed for full custody."Carter and Harry both high-fived. When they reached Sinnoh Carter and Harry were looking for a Partner. Currently they were on Route 202. " Well Dad said to try here." Carter said suddenly a Pokemon ran out in front of them. It was a quadrupedal, feline Pokémon resembling a lion cub or lynx kitten. Its front half is light blue, while the rear is black. There is a short yet large tuft of fur on its head and smaller tufts on each cheek. It has large, oval ears with yellow, star-shaped markings on the insides, yellow eyes, and a tiny, red nose. Whenever its mouth opened, small fangs can be seen in its upper jaw. A black marking encircles the Pokemon's neck like a collar, and there are yellow bands above its forepaws. The hind paws are black. Spiked fur surrounds the base of its long tail, which is tipped with a yellow star shape. " A Shinx." Carter said as Harry scanned it with his Rotom Phone. " Shinx, the Flash Pokémon, an Electric Type. When Shinx flexes its muscles, it generates electricity. When sensing danger, its fur glistens." a female voice said from the Pokedex.

" That's perfect." Harry said. Carter activated one of the Pokeballls from his backpack and gave it to Harry.

" I'll weaken it." Carter said.

" No, Eevee needs the experience." Harry said.

" Eevee, I Choose You!" Harry called.

" Eevee!" Eevee called. Shinx accepted the challenge and got ready. " Eevee, Quick Attack!" Harry said. Eevee shot forward and struck Shinx struck back with Tackle. " Eevee, another Quick Attack!" He called. Eevee shot forward but Shinx dodged it and tried another Tackle landing the attack. " Eevee, Swift Attack!" Harry called. Eevee swung her tail, and Stars flew at Shinx. " POKEBALL GO!" Harry called throwing the Pokeball. The ball opened and sucked Shinx in. The ball twitched the light flickered, then turned green. " Yes!" Harry said picking it up. Eevee leapt onto her partner' shoulder and in excitement.

" Shinx has been registered to your Pokedex!"

" Here." Carter said giving Harry an Sitrus Berry. Harry took it and Shinx ate it restoring his energy. Shinx was back to normal and nuzzling Harry. " So Harry, now what would...!" Suddenly they heard a hoot. Up in the Trees was a small, avian Pokémon resembling a young owl with a round body and short legs. Its plumage is primarily beige with a white underside and facial disc. The facial disc itself is in the shape of two overlapping circles. It has large black eyes and a stubby beak. The top part of its beak is white, while the lower half is orange-brown. Its feet have two forward-facing toes and one backward-facing toe; they are the same color as the lower half of its beak. Two leaves sprout from its chest arranged to resemble a bowtie. Additional leaves form its tail and line the undersides of its wings. " A Rowlet? But how?" He asked pulling out his Rotom Phone, and scanning it. " Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon. A Grass and Flying type. It stores energy during the day from photosynthesis. It swoops down without making a sound and unleashes a powerful kick without being noticed." His Phone explained. Carter was about to catch it but stopped. " Harry you should catch Rowlet." He said. Handing him another activated Pokeball.

" Alright, what do you say Shinx?" Harry asked.

" Shinx, Shinx!" His partner replied.

" Alright, Shinx I choose you!" He called. Shinx sprang into action. " Shinx, Tundershock!" Harry called. Rowlet was severely weakened.

" Harry the Pokeball!" Carter called.

" Pokeball, Go!" Harry called tossing it. The ball wobbled then the light turned green.

" Rowlet, has been registered to your Pokedex!" his Phone said.

" Cool now you have three Pokemon." Carter said.

Harry picked up the Pokeball. " Yeah." He said.

" Rowlet has been registered to your Pokedex." Harry's Rotom Phone said.

Hugging his cousin." Thanks Carter, Eevee and thank you Shinx." He said as he removed his Partner from his shoulder and hugged her and Shinx. Shinx and Eeveelicked his face they was bounded to Harry and would never leave his side.

Suddenly Carter felt something. there in front of them was a small, blue, caninePokémon. It has a black torso and legs, a blue tail, and a yellow collar. It has rounded bumps on the backs of its forepaws. It has a black "mask" and red eyes. It stands on its toes instead of its entire foot, and had two black appendages that hang down from its head.
" A Riolu!" Carter said in excitement. scanning it with his phone."
" Riolu, the Emanation Pokémon. AFightingtype. Riolu can understand how people and Pokémon feel by observing a kind of wave called aura. It has a flexible body with enough power to cross three mountains and two canyons in one night."
" No Hard feelings Harry but I want this one he said activating another Pokeball from his backpack. " Pikachu, I Choose You!" He called. Riolu got into a Fighting stance. " Pikachu Thundershock!" Carter called.
" Pika Pika CHUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Pikachu zapped Riolu, Riolu tried to fight back with Vaccum Wave. Pikachu was knocked back as Riolu attempted a Mega Punch only to be Paralyzed by Pikachu' Static.
" POKEBALL GO!" Carter called tossing it. The ball sucked Riolu up wobbled then the light turned Green.
" Yes, I caught a Riolu!" he said picking it up.
They headed back to Jubilife City where Aaron was staying but headed for the Pokemon Center first.

So my plan is Carter is going to compete in the Pokemon World Coronation Series while Harry challenges the Pokemon League. And yes I understand Pokeballs, Battles and being a Trainer takes away from what makes Ryme City so unique, but it's honestly the best way that I could have these to do there Adventures safely. And yes Harry's Rowlet is going to evolve into a Hisuian Decidueye. Also to any readers who actually live in Surrey, my sincerest apologies, for renaming and Unpokemon-ifying your home I just needed something that the Dursleys would like to live quietly and free of Pokemon.
