Scully held the yellow sticky note she had taken from her coffee pot and smiled as the delicious aroma began to fill the air.

Last night Mulder had driven her crazy asking her, did you know, followed by the most trivial information she had ever heard.

And after seven years with him, that was saying a lot.

"Did you know…" he had said near her ear, when they were in her bed, her eyes heavy and his arm wrapped around her.

"No more, Mulder, please," she had pleaded with a whine. "My brain has been overloaded tonight."

"Okay," he had said with a soft chuckle. "It can wait, I suppose."

"Good," she had breathed, falling asleep soon after.

He had left before she woke, going home to change for the day, and left the note where she would be sure to find it. Smiling, she read the note again.

You do know that I love you, right?

Turning around, she walked to her desk and picked up the phone.

One ring and she heard his familiar greeting.

"Did you know…" she began and he laughed softly as she smiled. "…I do too?"

"I may have suspected. But I'm very glad to know."

"I'm sure you are," she said and he laughed once again.
