"It's freezing," Scully said, her teeth chattering as the wind blew against the small tent Mulder had brought with him.
"Yeah, I'm… damn." He angrily pulled off his gloves and picked up the sleeping bags. "Should be done soon."
"At least we have a shelter of sorts." Scully said, pulling her coat further around her.
"Yeah," he agreed, completely unzipping one of the sleeping bags and laying it down. Unzipping the other, he connected them and looked at her. "Come on, get in. You need to warm up."
She hurriedly took off her shoes and got into the sleeping bag, burrowing in deep. Closing her eyes, she heard and felt Mulder getting in behind her and zipping up the sleeping bag. Shivering, she waited for him to move closer, but he did not.
"I'm sorry we're out here, Scully. I planned for it, just in case, but…"
"Oh, shut up and hold me," she said, pushing closer to him. "We'll be okay. Just need to stay warm."
"Yeah," he agreed, his nose cold as it hit her cheek and he wrapped his limbs around her, both of them shivering.
"We'll be okay," she whispered and he nodded against her head.
