===DISCLAIMER===
The RWBY series was written by Monty Oum and produced by Rooster Teeth Productions. The Fate series is owned by Type-Moon and Kinoko Nasu. I do not own any of the characters mentioned in both series. The only things I own are the ideas that popped into my head for this story and whatever original characters I would create for the story.
This story is meant to be a work of pure fiction made solely for fun, constructive reviews will be welcomed, and flames will be ignored. Any references to real-life characters, places, and events are purely coincidental and should not be taken seriously. You have been warned.
It would be nice if I could make money out of my ideas. Maybe I'll try another story, but for this one and Warped Blade of Hogwarts, I'm just doing it for fun.

Updates to this one are most likely going to be infrequent, this is due to me wanting to prioritize Warped Blade of Hogwarts (WBH) and finish it first. The reason I started writing this fic is that I ran out of inspiration for WBH, it's much easier to write if you are inspired by what you're writing so yeah.
P.S. I don't know when I'll be posting this so here:
Time of writing: 7/29/2022 11:36 PM
To get a frame of reference.
Oh, and I'm going to revise Chapter 3 of WBH. I was unsatisfied with it and so are a few readers.
Context:
The Shirou Emiya used in this fic is similar to Miyuverse Shirou. A Shirou Emiya from a universe where the 4th Fuyuki Holy Grail never happened, an unknown disaster struck his home and he was saved by Kiritsugu Emiya. This still cold Kiritsugu took in Shirou, training him and raising him like he did Maiya Hisau. He taught Shirou the art of combat as well as magecraft, teaching him everything he knew: familiar magecraft, bounded fields, and even some time manipulation spell in the form of traps, due to his origin making the spell impossible to cast over himself. Soon, however, Kiritsugu was badly wounded and soon passed away, leaving Shirou alone, inheriting Kiritsugu's dream to be a hero and all of his gear and equipment as well, the Thompson Contender and both his and Kiritsugu's Origin bullets being the most useful tools he has access to.
More of Shirou's backstory will be revealed in later chapters, so don't hound me for it.
Chapter 1
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
"This is Ash, we're in position," I said over the radio, informing our comrades of my and another team's status. "I have a visual of the secondary prey. Nest, what are your orders? Over"
Bzzt. Bzzt. "This is Nest, observe for now, initiate attack once we've drawn out the rest of the guards from their Cave. Over"
"Copy that. Over" I then turned back to my team and relayed the commands given to us, "We are to stand by and remain hidden, once the guards are drawn away, we swoop in, get our target, and get out. A quick snatch and grab. Do I make myself clear?"
"Sir, yes, sir!" my squad responded with an affirmative, "And what about your squad, Garnet?" I asked the leopard Faunus, leader of the second squad we were tasked to cooperate with.
"Hmph, as if I'll go along this stupid plan, we'd be better of just killing that one and nabbing the other. That way those wretched Schnee's can experience our pain, our suffering!" Garnet then got up and prepared to strike, her squad following her.
"Wait, Garnet!" I blocked their path, my squad following after, "You know I can't let you jeopardize the mission just because of revenge."
"What would you know, Ash? Because of them… because of them I lost my child!" She spoke with so much anger in her voice that it made everyone flinch back.
"I know what it's like, Garnet." I shot back at her. "You weren't the only one to lose someone important to you… I also lost my sister due to the Schnee's as well, we all lost someone important to us."
"Then-"
I immediately cut her off, "But even still, we must follow orders. If not for those that have passed away, then for those that will come after us." I said, looking her in the eyes, "We need to think of the bigger picture, Garnet."
Anger burned in her eyes, "No! They need to pay." She scoffed, "And besides, I think a baby is a lot easier to nab than a 9-year-old." Garnet then stepped closer to me, "Come on~, I promise to kill the kid swiftly."
BOOM.
As we were arguing, the attack on the Schnee family manor has begun.
"Wha- Garnet no!" Garnet and her squad took off running, slaughtering anyone they came across.
"Let's go!" I ordered my squad to follow suit, 'Goddammit! Hang in there kid.'
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
"Hic, hic, hic."
"There, there Weiss, your father didn't mean what he said." My maid consoled me.
I looked up from my tear-soaked pillow, "R-really?"
"Yes, my lady, he only said that because… because he wanted to show how great his daughter is to the other guests." She tried to console me but failed.
"Y'know, Verde, if you're gonna lie, at least look at the person you're lying to in the eyes." I teased her for failing to lie to a 9-year-old.
"Urk!" She pretended to be struck by an arrow, falling onto the bed dramatically. "Ahh, my mistress, how could you strike me so."
"Okay, okay, can you please get up now," I pushed her off my bed, 'I guess her cheerfulness really is infectious.'
"Oh, and please hand me that book, the one mother gave me." I pointed at the hardbound book, with elaborate gold designs on the edges and a triangular ruby attached at the front.
"This one?" She raised the book to show it to me.
"Yeah, that one." After she handed it to me, I read the title aloud. "Legend of the Hero of Wrought Iron, no author, just a stylized letter 'Z' and a Butterfly symbol."
I read the opening of the book aloud for Verde to hear, "Beware sweet child, for you are about to go on a journey unlike any other, one your kind has never experienced before. This is the story of a broken man, one who seeks justice, but only ever sees the corruption of the world. He walks endlessly towards the everdistant utopia he holds deep within his heart of steel. Where he sought to save, he only brought death, destruction, and despair. To some, he is their salvation, their hero. To others he is the incongrible saint of death, a necessary evil of the world. This is your last warning child, turn back now and perhaps fate will be kinder to you."
"Well, that was ominous." Verde commented at the side.
After reading the ominous-sounding opening, I flipped through the pages until I found a six-pointed magic circle with strange symbols all over it and a chant.
"A magic circle?" Verde pointed at the magic circle. "It looks like the ones in fairytale books I read when I was kid."
"It looks more like one of the glyphs Mommy and Winter use for summoning," I said to the maid. "It even comes with a chant." I pointed to the next page.
"Well, why don't you read it." She suggested I read it.
"Why?" I questioned her ludicrous idea.
"W-well you know, something might happen." She tried to reason out.
I gave a remark about her maturity. "*Sigh* You are such a child, Verde."
"Says the actual child, here." She shot back.
"Well, here goes nothing," I sucked in a deep breath.
"Let silver and iron be the elements,
stone and the archduke of contracts the cornerstone.
The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg.
The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown,
the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulates.
Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill).
Repeat every five times. Simply, shatter once filled.
I hereby announce,
Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword.
In accordance with the coming of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer me.
Here is my oath.
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven;
I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell.
From the seven heavens, clad in the three great words of power.
Come forth from the circle of binding, th-"
BOOM.
The entire mansion shook from the explosion.
I instinctively grasped for my blanket, "W-what happened?!" I asked Verde.
"I-I don't know, anyway, stay here, Weiss." Verde got up and began walking towards the door.
I called out to her, "Wait! Where are you going?"
She smiled back at me, "Relax, Weiss, I'm just going to check what's happening outside, okay?"
As Verde turned around, the door exploded, blasting her back towards me.
"Verde!" I cradled her unconscious body, ignoring the wound on my arm from getting hit by a piece of debris, or my blood spattering on the magic circle.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Someone said from within the smoke.
"W-who's there?" I asked them to show themselves. "T-this is t-the S-schnee family manor, if you leave p-peacefully I swear nothing will happen to you," my attempt to scare off the intruders was feeble at best, 'Even still, I need to buy time for the guards to arrive.'
Four members of the White Fang emerged from the smoke, weapons in hand. Wearing black, rough-textured pants, white vests, and an interior sleeveless shirt. Sprays of the blood from their victims covered the spotless white fabric. Blood was sprayed on their masks as well, and the blood sparkled in the light that left the room. With sneers painted on their faces as they stared at the two of us, the shadowy hallway behind them gave them a more wicked appearance like that of the Grimm.
A lizard Faunus at the back clapped his teammate on the back, sniffing the air, and said, "Nice job Garnet, finding the Schnee." The man flashed us his razor-sharp fangs, "Man, I fucking love this smell. This sense of fear that one knows they are about to be slain. Are you terrified, little lady?"
The one in the middle walked to the front of their group. "To think that we would be able to kill a Schnee... A chance like this to get rid of you scum is hardly ever granted. Best if we enjoy it, eh lads?" She was a leopard Faunus, the one they called Garnet, I idly noted. With crimson hair, ears that twitched in response to every sound, and a tail twitching happily. She was holding a black broadsword, the wicked blade still covered in blood. The vile laughter of the group in front of me drowned out the sound of blood splashing onto the granite floor.
I shouted at them fiercely, "Why are you doing this to us? Let us go!" My eyes were welling up with tears, accompanied by rage and defiance. "General Ironwood would hunt you all down, so leave."
The White Fang members all stared at me incredulously as they tried to understand how this young girl could be endangering her.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" The group laughed at my threat.
They soon all began to double over as though they had just heard something funny.
"Hey, little Schnee, do you want to know why it was so funny?" The leopard Faunus said as she moved toward us. Like a pack of wolves following its leader in a hunt, the others trailed after her.
"You see, your father is a very, very, very bad person. So we came here to get rid of the vile thing. And also, his family to boot."
"After all," she said, shifting the sword so it would reflect my terrified expression.
"All Schnees are the scum of the planet." She raised her sword, prepared to strike me down. Then the wind suddenly began picking up, causing the leopard Faunus to stop her swing.
The wind began to swirl and at its center was the… magic circle? I got an idea, it was dumb, but since I'm about to die anyway, I might as well. "Come forth from the circle of binding, thou guardian off the scales!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"Argh!" Pain emerged from the back of my right hand, as a weird red tattoo with an arrow-like design etched itself on my skin. Then a flash of bright light appeared, blinding everyone.
"Agh! What the hell!" I heard one of the Faunus shout in surprise.
What followed after was the moment that will forever be etched in my heart. A man appeared like in those fairytale books, with auburn hair, eyes of molten gold, wearing a red coat with black markings and metal plates attached to the ends of his sleeves, a battle skirt, white body armor, combat pants, and metal plated boots. His voice was clear and firm and he said to me, "I ask of you, are you… my master?"
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
In a land of endless blades, a spirit awaits. Watching the desert that comprised his world, littered with countless weapons, stabbed, blade first into the ground. Giant gears, defying all forms of common sense, rotate in the sky with nothing to support them.
"Hm?" A frown etched itself on the spirit's face as he felt something tug at his soul.
"Hmph, it seems I'm finally being called, huh." The spirit chuckled softly as he stood up, disappearing in motes of blue light.
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
I opened my eyes to see a little girl cradling the body of a maid. A frown etched itself in my face, as I can't feel the Holy Grail's presence. 'I guess it's one of those weird summonings, huh. If so, I might as well do this properly.'
I looked at the little girl and spoke the words once spoken by a beautiful, peerless knight, "I ask of you, are you… my master?"
The girl stared at me with wide eyes, shock, amazement, fear, and hope could be seen in those innocent eyes.
"Y-yes," she answered me absently.
'A yes is a yes, I guess and the red command seal engraved in the back of her right hand is a sign that she is indeed my master.'
"Very well. From this day forth, our souls are linked as one, your fate is my fate, and till death do us part." I turned around not seeing the very red-faced little girl.
The moment I laid my eyes upon the weapons held by those humans with animal parts, Faunus, that's what they're called, I was disgusted. I saw all the atrocities done utilizing them, men, women, children, and the elderly, slaughtered without mercy, without remorse. 'It seems the majority of the melee weapons of this world have the ability to transform into ranged ones.'
"Wha-, who are you!?" The leopard Faunus, Garnet, that's her name. Shouted at me.
"The one who'll kill all of you," I said while exuding a potent amount of bloodlust, making all of them step back in fear.
"W-what t-the h-hell?" A cat-like Faunus said on the front-left side of their group, soiling his pants.
Utilizing Projection, I projected the married blade, Kanshou and Bakuya. Charging the cat-like Faunus. I stabbed him in the chest, but a sort of energy shield covering his entire body stopped me. Instead of my blades piercing him, he was merely thrown back.
I jumped back to dodge the gunfire from the rest, "Shit! This one is a skilled Huntsman, be careful." She said as she and two others kept firing at me. 'Huntsman?'
I parried and blocked the bullets coming at me.
"What the hell?! Who is this guy!?" She shouted out as I began to close in on her.
She tried to strike me with her sword in a forward strike. I parried the blade to the side with ease. I got inside her guard and stabbed my swords in her abdomen and neck.
"Gagk!" The same energy shield stopped me again, but it seems they still feel pain from my strikes. 'Interesting.' I thought to myself.
I then jumped back and threw the married blades at the rest of their group. While in the air, I projected Gae Dearg and charged the cat-like Faunus again. "Drill,
Gae Dearg!" I stabbed him in the heart, the Noble Phantasm pierced a hole through the energy shield and skewered his heart, killing him.
"W-what the fuck, how the fuck did he get through Teal's aura, he didn't even break it in the first place." Another Faunus said, hiding behind Garnet.
"Nevermind that, we need to report this to rest, Aqua, get to it." Aqua, the wolf-like Faunus took out a phone-like device and began contacting someone, most likely their commander.
I projected a dagger used by Hassan of the Cursed Arm and threw it towards the wall to my right, ricocheting it to hit the phone-like device.
As the dagger flew, I re-engaged Garnet in combat, stabbing her left leg. "Gagh! You bastard!"
She swung her sword sideways, I dodged her swing by jumping backward and deflected more gunfire from the rest.
"What do we do, Garnet? He got my scroll." Aqua said as she got closer to her.
"Garnet!" Another group of Faunus appeared from the door.
"Ash, be careful, this guy has a weapon that can pierce your aura!" Garnet said to the leader of the newly arrived group.
"Pierce your aura? Nevermind that, we need to go, the mission's a bust. Ironwood's men are coming." He said to Garnet.
"Tch! Fine, but I don't think he'll let us go." She said as she looked at me.
"Oh, don't think I'll let you leave here alive." I said to the group. After I said this, Ash reached into his pocket and threw a grenade.
"Master!" I immediately ran towards my master and projected several giant swords to form a wall.
Boom.
I dismissed the wall of swords after the explosion, only to find that the enemy had escaped. "Tch."
"Well then, Master, it seems the enemy has retr-" I turned around to face my new Master, only to find her slumped down on her bed, unconscious. "Master!"
I checked her vitals and it seems that she was severely drained of prana. 'It seems the summoning was a bit too much for her.'
"Quick! Over here!" I heard a voice shout from outside the room, 'Those seem to be this Ironwood's men.'
I astralized to hide and to conserve prana.
"Weiss!" A white-haired middle-aged woman came running inside the room and cradled my unconscious Master's body. "It's okay, Weiss, mommy's here," she whispered to her.
"Medic!" She called for the medic waiting outside the door.
-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-
My Master was moved to another room to rest after the medics finished treating her.
"Well, I guess this is my second life now *Sigh*," I sighed to myself. "I just know that this is going to be troublesome, I just know it." I said to an unconscious little girl.
