A/N: Wrote with the help of the best Encanto server in the world.

Throughout the Encanto, there was a disturbance. Plants sprouted out of nowhere and hit people. Everyone knew that the oldest Madrigal granddaughter was behind it. When people asked Alma Madrigal about it, she said Isabela was filling under the weather.

"Ow," Isabela screamed. The twelve-year-old girl was experiencing her first period. The cramps were hard on the young Madrigal. "Mami! Make it stop! I think I'm dying."

"You're not dying, my dear," Julieta said. "This is normal. It's going to stop. You need to wait it out."

Isabela sobbed into her knees. She was lying in her suspended bed. "I'm going to fix you a hot bath," Julieta said. Julieta felt her dress getting tugged on. Her ten-year-old daughter, Luisa, was looking up at her.

"Is Isa going to be okay?" Luisa asked.

"She will be," Julieta promised. Dolores arrived back at the Casita. She had covered her ears, but she had a sympathetic look. Dolores had gotten her first one a few weeks ago.

Agustín entered his daughter's bedroom. "Hello, Floricta," Agustín said. "I brought you some arepas from the booth. I think they might help with the pain. I also brought you some pads."

A plant sprouted up and hit his nose. "Sorry, papi," Isabela said through the pain.

"It's okay, Floricta," Agustín said. Julieta went to fill the bath. She remembered when Pepa had her first period. It caused a giant storm the first day that caused property damage. The moment the cramps stopped, the rain died down.

Once the bathtub was ready, Julieta entered the bedroom. Isabela was munching on some of the arepas. "Your bath is ready," Julieta said.

"I can't bath now," Isabela said. "Lila is getting married this weekend. I still have to do so much decorating. The town needs me right now. They need me to be Señorita Perfección. I can't do it while in the bath."

"You're feeling ill," Julieta said. "The town won't fall apart if you take the day off."

That is a lesson you need to learn yourself. Julieta thought. She helped her daughter out of bed and to the bathroom.
