Setting Prompt: Body Switch
When Kaito woke up, he found himself in a room that wasn't his. It was all too expensive, too… formal. A stack of Sherlock Holmes books sat by his head, and he could see case files on the nearby desk. Slowly, he got up.
Where am I?
Did someone kidnap him in the middle of the night? But why would they bring him to a bedroom? Unless… Kaito shivered at the brief thought. But if this was truly a fan of his, they would have something indicating their like of Kid, wouldn't they? Besides, the Holmes books and the case files…
There were two people who would have both of those that Kaito knew. Kudo Shinichi, who was still stuck in the body of a child and wouldn't be in such an expensive room at the moment, and Hakuba Saguru… Kaito's crush. But why would he be in Saguru's room?
Looking at the mirror, Kaito felt his heart beat fast in fear as he realized why.
Staring at him, instead of his own reflection, was that of Saguru.
The first hint Saguru got that anything was wrong was the huge picture of Kuroba Toichi on the wall. He stared for a while, wondering if this was Kaito's idea of a prank, before he realized the distinct lack of… everything that made his room, well, his. As impressive as Kaito was, he wouldn't be able to do this in one night.
Getting up to the picture, Saguru pressed on it, only for the picture to swing around, sending Saguru falling. After staying on the chair dazed for a while, he looked around.
Here he had the proof that Kaito was Kid, but… did he really want to turn him in?
Then, looking at a mirror, Saguru realized that if he did, he would be the one bearing the consequences.
