Team was confused with his sudden arrival as well as the way he straightly made his way to ACP's cabin. Normally, whenever he visits, he talks to every officer in the bureau personally. He is a very humble and down to earth person. Team always liked him. But today he went straight into ACP's cabin. He knocked on the door and entered inside. He closed the door behind so that nobody can hear them talking. ACP Pradyuman, Daya, Abhijeet and Ravi got shocked on his sudden arrival and immidiately stood up to greet him to which he replied.

ACP Pradyuman (confusingly) – Sir aap yahan… achanak!

DCP Pathak – Han ACP, mujhe kaam h… (eyeing at Abhijeet) Abhijeet se.

Abhijeet (confusingly) – Mujhse!

DCP Pathak – Han… betho tum. (To ACP) – Pradyuman, Do you mind agar main tumhari seat lelu Abhijeet se baat krne ke liye…

ACP Pradyuman (still in confusion) – Of course not sir… aap bethiye.

DCP Pathak – Thankyou.

Abhijeet and DCP Pathak were sitting facing eath other while others were standing aside.

DCP Pathak – Toh Abhijeet… pehle ye btao k kaise ho tum?

Abhijeet (confusingly ) – Jee! Main theek hun sir.

DCP Pathak – Pkka?

Abhijeet – Han sir… pkka. Pr aap aese kyu pooch rhe h?

DCP Pathak – Kyunki mere pass tumhare liye ek mission h. Mission pr jana ya na jana tumhari puri tareh se tumhari marzi pr depend krta h. Kisi bhi mission pr jane se pehle officers ka physically and mentally fit hona bhut zrori hota h…

Abhijeet – Main bilkul fit hun sir…

DCP Pathak – Good… (To everyone) – Ab is cabin mein jo bhi baaten hongi… voh aap sb kisi se bhi share nhi krenge. Na team se, na apne family, dost aur even HQ mein bhi kisi se share nhi krenge.

ACP Pradyuman (suspicious) – Sir… esa konsa mission h jiski jankari HQ ko bhi nhi h…

DCP Pathak – Is mission ki jaankari sirf DIG aur mujhe h ACP. Iske baad iski details sirf is mission pr jaane wale officers ko di jayegi… voh bhi tb jb voh officers jane ke liye raazi ho.

(To Abhijeet) – Mission international level ka h. Galti ki koi gunjayish nhi. Risk factor bta deta hun abhi se… Tumhare pass 3 options h.

Number 1 – Mission pura kro aur laut ke aao.

Number 2 – Mission pura kro aur shaheed ho jao.

Number 3 – Mission fail ho jaye… Ye option sabse dangerous h… kyunki agar ye mission fail hua… toh India will disown you. Indian Govt. kabhi nhi manegi k tum aese kisi mission pr the. Jinke khilaaf ye mission… voh log tumhe marne nhi denge… lekin zindagi ko usse bhi badtar kr denge.

Mission ke dauran(during), tum hm mese kisi se bhi contact nhi kr skte. Ab tumhe decide krna h k tu is missin pr jana chahte ho ya nahi… chaho toh ACP se ya Daya ya Ravi se discuss krlo phir jawaab do. Mujhe bharosa h k tum hi is mission ko pura kr skte ho. Aur ek baat… is mission mein tum apna 1 saathi khud chun skte ho. Jise bhi le jana chahte ho… let me know. Decide kro aur 24 ghante mein mujhe apna decision btao. Main chalta hun.

And he left the cabin. Abhijeet kept thinking for a while. Meanwhile whole team was gone for lunch. So bureau main hall was empty. As soon as he left the cabin, ACP Pradyuman said –

Abhijeet… tum is mission pr nhi jaoge. Main apne sabse janbaaz officer ko itne bade khtre mein nhi daal skta.

Abhijeet looked at him and opened the cabin door. DCP Pathak was still in the bureau main hall as he was leaving when Abhijeet called him from behind and said –

Sir!

DCP Pathak – Han Abhijeet!

Abhijeet – I am ready. Main jaunga is mission pr.

ACP, Daya and Ravi were shocked to hear this. DCP Pathak looked at their faces and asked Abhijeet –

Are you sure about this Abhijeet? Theek se soch lo.

Abhijeet – Maine soch liya h sir… Aur main kise saath le jana chahta hun… voh bhi apko jldi bta dunga.

DCP nodded and left.

Daya – Abhijeet Acp sir ne mna kiya… phir bhi tum. Itna bada risk lene se pehle 1 bar soch toh lete.

Abhijeet – Daya… maine soch kr hi faisla kiya h. Aur phir hme desh ke dushmano ke khilaaf ladne se pehle risk factor nhi sochna chahiye… yahi toh seekha h hmne ACP sir se… (looking at ACP) hna Sir? Chlo chodo ab… lunch krle ab?

ACP just nodded and left.

Daya – Abhijeet… kya hogya h tumhe… Tumne ACP sir ki baat taal di… tumne aaj tkk unki baat nhi taali.

Abhijeet (in a firm voice) – Daya… mujhe desh ke gaddaro ke khilaaf ladne ke liye kisi ki bhi permission nhi chahiye. Aur aagr tumhare paas ye mission aaya hota toh tum risk dekh kr mission chod dete?

Daya had no answer to this. He knew he wouldn't do that.

Daya – Theek h… lekin saath kise le jaoge?

Abhijeet – Dekhte hain.

And he left. Ravi came forward and said – I guess hum dono mein se kisi ek le jayega…

Daya – Han yahi hoga. Chlo hum bhi lunch krle…

Ravi – Chlo.

And they left.

After that they didn't discuss the topic. However, a thought was still there in their minds that why did Abhijeet agreed for this mission just after ACP refused. Two days passed after this conversation, but Abhijeet didn't ask Daya or Ravi to accompany him. Even Ravi asked him the other day about his companion in the mission but he said he is still thinking. After two days, DCP Pathak came to bureau to ask Abhijeet about his partner in the mission.

It was late in the evening and team has already left. Again, only ACP, Daya and Ravi were there in the bureau main hall. Daya was sure Abhijeet would choose him only. He was internally happy about it. Acp too was thinking the same. He was satisfied with it. He knew Daya and Abhijeet can solve even the toughest case together. They are unbreakable.

DCP Pathak – Toh Abhijeet… kisko le jaoge apne sath?

Abhijeet – Senior Inspector Isha!

For a moment, there was a complete silence. All of them were shocked! DCP was shocked on his choice and the other three were shocked that this the first time Abhijeet chose someone else over Daya or Ravi. Finally, Abhijeet broke the silence.

Abhijeet – Kya hua Sir? Aapne kaha tha k main kisi ko bhi choose kr skta hun. Any problem?

DCP Pathak (serious voice)– Are you sure about your choice Abhijeet?

Abhijeet (firm tone) – 100% Sir.

DCP Pathak – Ok then… I will contact her. If she agrees, you will be going for mission after 3 days.

Abhijeet – Right Sir.

After that DCP left. Before anyone could ask him anything, Abhijeet's phone rang and he left. The other three people were still in shock and dissappointed too. Daya too left after saying goodnight to ACP and Ravi. They knew that Daya is hurt with Abhijeet's decission. Ravi was so confused about this. He decided to confront Abhijeet for this. He too left.

Late night, Abhijeet returned home only to find Ravi waiting for him on sofa with hands folded on chest. Abhijeet knew this.

Ravi – Would you care to answer now?

Abhijeet – Kll baat kre… Abhi bhut late hogya h…

Ravi – Nahi… hm abhi baat krenge. Tumne dekha tha Daya ka chehra…

Abhijeet – Ravi mujhe pta h k Daya ko bura lga hoga. maine bhut soch smjh kr faisla kiya h.

Ravi – Vhi pooch rha hun yr… kya soch kr faisla kiya h tumne?

Abhijeet – Ravi 3 bj gye h… kll baat krenge is baare mein… Abhi nhi.

Ravi – Kll pkka sach btaoge?

Abhijeet – Han… pkka.
