"I can't believe he's making us chase him!" Noctis was being more careful behind the wheel than usual, as to not wreck anything. If he didn't keep up with Ardyn, they were probably going to be in some form of trouble. The only good thing about this was that no Imperial dropships were flying overhead, ready to drop some MTs down for them to fight.

"This feels like a trap." Gladio said. "Why the hell would this guy help us?"

"He... likes Noct?" Prompto offered. "I-I mean, he's been pretty cordial to us so far! Maybe that's why?"

"Well, Noct is a prince. A lot of people like getting close to others because of their social standing, so maybe he's trying to get in Noct's good graces by helping him out." Nimue waved a hand. "Ardyn's got a few screws loose, though. You can tell just by the way he acts."

"It seems you're more perceptive than we gave you credit for." Ignis remarked.

"Plus bein' a walkin' bestiary helps." Gladio joked, grinning. Nimue shoved him gently before settling back in her seat.

The drive took a bit of time, only stopping for Ardyn to open the gate. After that, it was down a dirt path to an open area... that had a narrow pathway. The car wouldn't be able to fit, so Noctis turned the Regalia off and pocketed the key while they exited it. Nimue took off her glasses, watching them turn into blue and white sparks as they were placed into the Armiger.

"Thought you needed those!" Prompto said. "Like Iggy needs his!"

Nimue pat Prompto on the arm as they headed towards where Titan rested on foot. "I don't. They were originally for a cosplay I was going to be doing later this year. Custom-made and all, so I'd rather they don't get melted into a puddle. So, for today only, Nym without her special custom set of glasses that aren't vision correcting... Also, my face feels weird if I don't wear them."

Ignis snorted, not bothering to hold back his laughter. "That certainly sounds like you've been wearing them too long."

"Hey!"
