"Umbra!" The messenger, Umbra, walked up to Noctis and sat down. Happy to see him, Noctis knelt down and gave Umbra a few pets before retrieving the notebook from his back.
"Bringin' us stuff! Atta boy!" Prompto said.
"That dog can really track a scent." Gladio commented in awe.
"Certainly "nose" how to find us." Ignis said.
"How do you always know, boy?" Prompto asked Umbra, who just stared at him before barking happily. Noctis, during this time, took the notebook from Umbra's back. Opening it up, he found Lunafreya's newest note. That it was finally time for her to leave Tenebrae. Writing down 'Finally going to see you after all these years', he placed it back on Umbra's back in its holder.
"All set. Take care now." Noctis said, getting up. Umbra got up, but he didn't leave. Instead, he barked and turned to their right, causing them to look over to where he was looking. There was a young woman standing there now, who hadn't been there before.
Her hair was shoulder-length and chestnut brown, eyes a bluish-green but more towards blue, and she wore a faded college tshirt, black jeans and dirty white sneakers. On her face was a pair of glasses that looked like an exact replica of Ignis', and on the belt of her jeans was a pair of daggers. Her skin was pretty fair, all things considered.
"Miss Gentiana said I was supposed to help out, so she sent me with Umbra." The girl said, a nervous smile on her face. Noctis stood up, looking behind him. Prompto shrugged, Gladio folded his arms against his chest and Ignis adjusted his glasses. "I'm Nimue. If you'll have me, I'd like to travel with you."
"How can we be sure you're not going to stab us in the back the first moment you get?" Gladio asked.
"Stab you-? I'm not a backstabber!" The girl named Nimue said, looking angry.
"We can't be sure of that yet." Ignis said. "Prompto, could you sit in the back? I'd like to keep my eye on her."
"As would I." Gladio agreed. "Can't trust her. Not yet, at least."
Umbra barked again before leaving. Nimue sighed, lifting up her glasses to rub at her eyes. "Fine. Fine. I'll prove to you I won't backstab any of you. Even if it means having to be under surveillance for a while."
