Summary: Jacob ends up with the wrong potion.

Queenie heard a loud sneeze from behind the partially open bedroom door. "Oh dear," she sighed as she glanced in that direction for a moment. "Here he goes again." She picked up a tray that had a line of vials on it, along with a bowl of soup. As she made her way to the bedroom, a knock sounded at the front door. Queenie put the tray aside, stopping a few teetering vials with one hand before heading to the door to open it.

Standing outside, in a swirl of frenzied snowflakes whipped up by the wind, was Theseus. "Sorry to bother you so late, Queenie," he hurriedly apologized. "I'm here to see Newt."

"Oh it's no bother at all," Queenie smiled. "Why don't you come in for a moment to warm up by the fire? Newt should be along in a moment."

"Don't mind if I do," Theseus replied, a slight chatter to his voice, as he stepped inside out of the cold. "Looks like it will be a white Christmas, 'ey?"

"Not to mention a cold one," Queenie said as she led Theseus to the fireside.

Theseus absent-mindedly placed what he was holding in one hand onto the tray before pulling off his scarf. "I brought something for Newt," he began, pausing as another sneeze was heard. "How's Jacob?"

"Oh, he's got a massive head cold," Queenie said, picking up the tray again. "He fell into the Kelpie pool the other day. I'm afraid he is going to have to spend Christmas in bed."

"What a shame," Theseus replied as Queenie headed towards Jacob's room with her tray.

She set the tray on the nightstand by the bed before sitting down on the edge. "How are you feeling today?"

"Uhh," Jacob groaned. "Remind to never go near the Kelpie's pool again!"

"Ohh you'll be fine," Queenie said. "Now, I've made some soup for you. I've also made you a few potions. One for sleep. One for flu aches. One for keeping you warm." As she mentioned each one, she would pour it out into the soup.

"Won't that make the soup taste bad?" Jacob moaned before sneezing again.

"Well, only a little," Queenie said. "But you swallow all this quickly. It's not too hot. You should be on the mend within a few days, again."

"Uh-huh," Jacob grumbled. He glanced to the door as he heard someone talking.

"Oh, that'll be Newt coming in," Queenie stood up. "Now you can finish putting the potions in. I will check on you in a moment."

"Yeah," Jacob replied as she left. Queenie didn't see him dump in the last potion that was on the tray.

Queenie walked into the living room to find Theseus on all fours, looking for something. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"I could have sworn I left the thing right here," Theseus said.

"He brought me a Polyjuice potion for me," Newt explained. "We are supposed to go out together under cover. I wonder if that bloody pest took off with it."

"Have you tried summoning it?" Queenie asked.

"Yes," the brothers answered at the same time.

"I put it down right here," Theseus pointed at the spot where the tray had been. "But now it's gone!"

"Right ... here?" Queenie asked, realization showing on her face. All three looked around, hearing a scream. "Uh oh!" Queenie gasped before running into the bedroom again.

Standing in front of the mirror on the wall stood a tall dark-haired man with sparkling green eyes, staring at himself in surprise. "What just happened?" Jacob's voice sounded from under the guise.

"Now don't panic honey!" Queenie said. "The effect wears off in an hour."

"That potion takes a month to make," Theseus complained, looking as if he thought he was living in the end of the world.

Newt blinked a few times. "Right. We're going to Dumbledore for another one!" The two brothers apparated away a moment later.

Jacob half laughed as he got back in bed, still looking like another person. "I love magic!"
