The Worst Revenge Tale You Could Come Up With
For the story to work you should read Quiet and the Dimensional Traveler (Timeline A) and The Big Shell, fanfictions by DANNYGROM.
Chapter 1: Assembly
A wormhole ripped its way through time and space itself, violently opening up in the middle of a compound in a tropical location.
Out stepped two men, one wearing a full-body exoskeleton and the other wearing a sneaking suit with a design closely mirroring the FOXHOUND design from the 70's.
They knew exactly where they were.
"San Hieronymo, 1970, just as planned!" Exclaimed the man in the exoskeleton.
The men had succeeded in arriving at the right time, and the right location. This was the prison camp at the San Hieronymo Soviet compound.
They located the door they were looking for and kicked it down, at the same time waking up the legendary soldier, Big Boss.
"We'll make the introductions short" Said the man in the sneaking suit.
"I.. you can refer to me as O, and this is Old Man." He continued.
"What the hell?!" Were the only words that managed to slither out of Big Boss' mouth.
"I'll take him," Said Old Man. Before the snake-like tentacles on his suit extended to grab Big Boss. The man wasn't too keen on getting captured, so he slipped and tried to crawl away into a vent, but to no avail.
Big Boss was forcibly dragged out of his cell and through the wormhole-portal.
The three men entered the portal and the wormhole closed after them. They were on Mother Base, and Big Boss noticed it. The time of day, the weather, the climate, all of them were different. Big Boss couldn't believe it, and how nonsensical it was.
He quickly stood up and raised his hands into a fighting position, ready to take on the two men that had dragged him here. Although Big Boss quickly realized that he would have been no match for every one of the two dozen soldiers standing on the platform. All of them were survivors of a deadly rampage.
"These men are from YOUR future, Big Boss," Said Old Man.
"They are all phantoms now," O added.
"But this doesn't make any sense, you're implying time travel," Big Boss said.
"Well.. dimension hopping as well but-" O explained before being cut off.
"What did you drug me with, huh? DMT? LSD?" Questioned Big Boss.
Then two men entered the view of Big Boss, emerging from the crowd of soldiers, his identical twins.
"HUH?!" Big Boss made this sound like he was questioning his whole understanding of this world.
One of the men was living with the help of all sorts of life support systems, and the other looked exactly like him, if maybe slightly older.
Big Boss was starting to believe.
"We don't have much time left," O informed. "The wormhole is closing, all you need is on this device" He added.
The men walked through the portal and disappeared from view.
"WAIT, YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" Big Boss shouted.
They didn't hear him, the wormhole had closed.
The other Big Boss touched Hieronymo Big Boss' shoulder.
Big Boss turned around. "From now on you will be designated the codename, Hieronymo, I will be Heaven, and this man will be designated the codename NtS D," Said The Other Boss while pointing to the man standing next to him.
"What the hell is going on?" Asked Hieronymo.
"Take a listen to the tape on the device they gave you," Said Heaven.
Heaven put the headphones on Hieronymo and turned the tape on.
It was O, he was speaking on the tape.
"You're confused, maybe even scared.
This is an explanation, why you're here, what to do next, what happened.
A man named D came here in search of a woman called Quiet, we'll keep it short, I promise.
He deceived Quiet, gaslit her into thinking it was the best for her, he murdered a lot of people to get this Quiet out of here. The men here are victims, they seek vengeance, we brought you here to lead them. They are all blinded by rage, they are not suitable to be in charge. You must gather the people from the list, create a dimension hopping device and take revenge, chase after him through his own DNA. Pequod collected some DNA samples, D should be trackable through them.
As for the list:
Ocelot, from a Big Shell timeline, And remember to save him before his throat gets slit.
Although there is an Ocelot in this timeline, who is being kept alive with the same technology that is keeping NtS D alive, his eyes don't work due to the lack of oxygen between first aid and his heart stopping for the first time.
Kaz from this dimension.
Fatman from the Ocelot timeline, Do not take Vamp, he is too much of a risk.
Huey, who is also on life support after an unfortunate event. Trust me, he's willing to work if he gets his revenge.
The Russian soldiers that were shot by D and Quiet during the Big Shell incident.
JOHNNY SASAKI
Solidus Snake
Hal from this universe, as we have created a split in the timeline, we'll have to save him from the original one before he kills himself.
Raiden from one of the universes he visited. That Raiden should get alternate memories from other timelines as soon as you remind him of Rose. He should want to join just to avenge the family he never had because D took the possibility away from him.
That about does it. We will visit you one last time when You take revenge. Then we'll close the walls between realities."
The tape ended.
Hieronymo knew exactly what he had to do.
Over the next few years he gathered the men from the list.
Countless days all his men were thinking of only one thing, revenge.
Chapter 2 : Revenge
After a few years, the men were ready. They were done with waiting, and they lusted for revenge.
The men had given each other codenames to differentiate between members.
Big Shell Ocelot was called Su'Go,
The other was called Blind Ocelot,
Huey was a changed man, he was no longer a traitor dickhead, and he went by the name Brave.
Solidus went by Old Guy as a sign of respect to Old Man.
Raiden went by nD33z.
Johnny was still Johnny.
Others still went by their original names, like Hal.
The men had changed a lot since the time they originally entered Mother Base.
They started a huge machine, maybe the size of a school bus, and it was noisy as hell.
The best way to describe it is to say it looked like a phallic. A wormhole ripped out a hole into the fabric of the universe. The amount of energy it burnt would have been enough to turn off the sun.
About 30 to 50 people, all wearing identical military suits, some of the guys missing limbs or eyes, started marching through the portal in the same rhythm.
A silent march towards the unknown, the men taking steps, but without sound, the suits were perfect for sneaking.
The men entered Denver, Colorado. They had tracked D down here, during the World Marshall Incident. Now they just had to locate him in the city. They had practiced it for months, and with one hand movement, Hieronymo signaled the men to disperse and start looking.
Hieronymo wanted to see the World Marshall building, he was sure D would be there.
He entered through the front doors and signaled Su'Go to look from the upper floors.
The small squad stayed with Hieronymo.
"We'll have to wait for him to show up, then we activate our trap," Hieronymo informed.
The men took up positions, and nD33z went to check the cameras.
A computer screen flickered on as nD33z pressed a simple button. It was the city's traffic camera system. He didn't have to browse that long until… That had to be D.
He was driving with his two Quiets, a car closing in on the building.
"SHIT is that Raiden? And an unidentified man in front of the building," Hieronymo informed through the radio.
"That's impossible" Said nD33z.
"He's doing a pointless monologue with him!" Shouted Hieronymo.
"I'm going to need some high ground," nD33z said.
"Wait, I'm coming with you," replied Johnny "Akiba" Sasaki.
The two men made their way up the stairs and into an elevator.
Disappearing to the upper floors.
Hieronymo was observing the situation in front of the building.. things seemed calm until.. A shot rang out. It was Quiet, it had to be!
Quiet and D were running towards the building.
"Raiden i know thet your in trouble" Said D.
"What the hell happened?" asked Raiden.
"I knew Monson was going to hurt you worst than he had alredy ." D continued.
D was standing there with a smirk on his face.
Suddenly Hieronymo rushed out of the building.
Brave, Hal, Blind Ocelot, and Old Guy getting ready to fire if anything were to happen.
"NtS D and Heaven get your teams ready and head over to the World Marshall building," Hieronymo ordered.
D looked at Hieronymo in horror.
"What is happen right now?" Asked D.
Quiet got her sniper ready and Hieronymo's team loaded their weapons.
"See, we are taking revenge against those who wronged us," Hieronymo said.
"Who even ar you?" D asked.
"I'm not important. But they are!" Hieronymo Exclaimed.
Suddenly the two squads arrived like on command. NtS D and Heaven both arriving.
"Stefanie get redy and you too Quiet. I don't know who they are but they don't want anything good," Said D into his radio.
At this point Raiden had already disappeared from the scene.
"You don't remember!" Shouted NtS D with an angry tone of voice.
"Uh, boss we've got some trouble," radioed Blind Ocelot.
NtS D started running upstairs and to the elevators.
"I'm coming," said NtS D.
"I have not got slightest clue who you are," said D, sort of sarcastically.
"You took everything from me, and him, and him too," Said Heaven while pointing at Old Guy, and Hal.
"Was this about Quiet?" Asked D.
"You've been causing trouble all across the multiverse," Said Hieronymo.
"Then who were you?" D questioned.
"I wasn't involved in any way, it was a simple coincidence," Hieronymo answered.
"Uh boss, we're fucked," Radioed NtS D from upstairs.
Suddenly a voice comes on the loudspeakers.
"WE HAVE YOUR MEN: Su'Go, nD33z, Nts D. SURRENDER NOW!"
It was a female voice.
"Wait, who is this?" Hieronymo asked.
"Heh, she my suprise card, Stefanie!" D exclaimed.
Meanwhile upstairs, Stefanie is holding the three men hostage. What she doesn't know is that the men have backup.
Stefanie is standing with her back towards the open doorway, a big mistake.
Akiba walked down the hallway and noticed something, like a shadow dancing in the doorway.
He quickly deduced that this couldn't be good.
Johnny pulled out his knife and snuck behind the person. He noticed she was.. A WOMAN?!
Johnny put the knife up to her neck and told her to drop the weapon.
"Sorry that I took so long, my stomach has been rough today, I almost shat my pants," Johnny told.
The woman chuckled a bit.
Johnny was confused.
Su'Go and NtS D raised their guns.
"That bitch looks exactly like the woman that tried to kill me!" Su'Go said.
"We should execute her!" NtS D shouted.
"So she's the one that ruined my life," nD33z said.
Her face turned white, she was feeling nauseous. This was it, she was not going to Metal Gear Survive this.
The only one that showed any kind of empathy for her was Johnny.
"Wait, I don't know about this," He said.
"We can't let her live," Said Su'Go.
"We can use her as a bargaining chip," Johnny said.
Su'Go and NtS D lowered their weapons.
"If she tries anything, she gets the bullet," Su'Go Says.
The others start walking downstairs.
Johnny and Stefanie stay behind.
"Why did you spare me?" Stefanie asked.
"I don't know… you.. me.. well you kind of felt.. I don't know…" Johnny muttered.
Back downstairs Su'Go, nD33z, NtS D arrived downstairs.
D is shocked to see them alive.
"Wha- but yo didnt die?" D asks panicked.
"Well what does it look like?" Su'Go answers sarcastically.
D starts firing at the soldiers out of nowhere and without warning.
Quiet disappears and starts slicing the soldiers' necks.
Together they took out around 20 soldiers, weakening the troop numbers.
D takes cover and Quiet follows.
"Ah shit, we need to commence our trap!" Hieronymo shouts into the radio.
Suddenly an enormous rift splits the sky, lighting the skies in a bluish tint.
Light emanating all around the city.
Suddenly, the legendary words ring out: "This is Pequod, arriving at LZ".
The whole city heard it. Out of the sky, Sahelanthropus dropped, and landed right behind D.
The Metal Gear had finally been modified to work without Mantis, and with a human pilot, Pequod.
The Metal Gear towered over D, menacingly.
Suddenly Hieronymo gave the order.
"Do it,"
Sahelanthropus took a giant step. D tried running from it but to no avail. The Metal Gear stepped on D, leaving his legs under the foot of this giant.
Quiet was shocked and started firing at Blind Ocelot who had started approaching. Amazingly every bullet missed.
Blind Ocelot whipped out a sawed off shotgun, and without even being able to look at her, he pulled the trigger turning her into a red pulp like she had done to so many before.
Su'Gon, the other Ocelot, was adamant to give it a try as well. He shot her in the chest, blowing it open, while D looked in horror.
Chapter 3 : The Job Finished
Johnny and Stefanie walked downstairs laughing and smiling. D saw this and instead of crying, his face turned emotionless, as he stared into the void, he had lost everything.
Every surviving member of the revenge squad organized into a line. The first in line was Fatman. He simply kicked D in the head, and said "You called me a sissy!".
The next one spat on him, the next pissed on him, one of them even shot him in the arm.
Through all of this D stayed emotionless. He was truly evil, and selfish. Killing so many for a woman he liked.
All of the men had their revenge, now just the decision of whether to let him live, or kill him.
A wormhole opened up, out stepped O and Old Man, in the same outfits they left in.
Years to these men had felt like a few minutes. They had fulfilled their promise to return when the job was finished.
"Spare him," Said Old Man, almost knowing what they were discussing.
"We can't let him live," Old Guy, also known as Solidus, said.
"We've got a plan for him," Said O.
Something lit up in D's eyes, like a glimmer of hope. It was false hope.
Everyone was turning away and they were going to let O and Old Man handle it, but then D started mouthing off.
"You dont even have the bals to do it! You cant kil me!" He shouted,
Kaz turned around.
"You are all goig to die, you dam rats! I can folow you to the end of this universem and the next one!" D said.
"You wannabe military man… You know why you lasted so long? It's because you had help,"
Kaz replied.
"You don't have the balls to shot me!" D said.
"No balls you say?"
Kaz replied.
Then Kaz pulled out a revolver, who cares which model it was. The point is that it's a revolver.
And he took a shot right in D's testicles.
"Bullseye," Kaz said.
D screamed in pain.
Suddenly, Gordon Freeman, Obama, Brad Pitt, Frank Woods, and Tony Hawk appeared out of nowhere and started dancing take the L.
O and Old Man prepared a vest that they put on D.
A wormhole opened up, a small one, it could fit a single human. D was sucked into the portal.
"What did you do to him?" Hieronymo asked.
"He's back in his own reality now," O explained.
"What if he comes back?" NtS D asked.
"We'll close the walls of reality, there's no way he'll be able to go through those barriers and his multiverse counterparts will be stuck in other places," Said Old Man.
"What about us?" nD33z asked.
"You had your revenge, so now you're free to do whatever you want, right?" O said.
"I suppose so," Hieronymo said.
The sun had started shining through the clouds and a warm wind had started picking up.
"Well good luck," O said to the crew, even though they would meet for one last time…

*Everybody wants to rule the world by Tears for Fears starts playing.
Epilogue: The Aftermath
O, Old Man, Hieronymo, and the rest of the crew visited Johnny and Stefanie's wedding.
Also before this, Johnny visited D's mother ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
O paid a quick visit to EVA ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
Old Man started the fast food chain "Halal Burgers" together with Kazuhira Miller and Solidus (Old Guy)
Huey/ Brave, as a changed man, started a robotics business with his son Hal.
"nD33z" / Raiden started a family with Rose.
Blind Ocelot and Su'Go / Big Shell Ocelot, became Shaolin monks, together with Obama.
NtS D / Venom Snake became a Yakuza with the famous John Yakuza from the hitgame Yakuza 0.
Fatman, identifies as a woman these days, going with the name, Fatwoman.
Stefanie and Johnny started a family.
The Russians and the Diamond Dogs started to work in "Halal Burger" restaurants.
D continued to imagine his trips with his Quiets, never really getting over them, almost obsessing over them. His balls healed and grew back on eventually (no worries).
THE END… FINALLY….
Oh and Gordon Freeman, Frank Woods, Brad Pitt, and Tony Hawk returned back to their universes.
