It was a very busy day yesterday. The first thing Elsa and I had to do was arrange our friends from all over the world into their own rooms back at Arendelle Castle and made sure that they were okay, which thankfully they all were. I was sleeping with Elsa in her bedroom and in her bed, like we used to do when we were very young before Elsa had to move out and learn how to control her ice powers. I slept with my big sister so someone else could have my room and that person – or rather two people, to be more accurate – was Ariel, who I tought was my best friend when it comes to negotiations, and her daughter Melody.

After that business was over, Elsa and I hosted a lunch for our friends. There were sandwiches, soups of all kinds, cheese and biscuits, cakes and chocolate. I was still relieved that they all enjoyed it, especially the chocolate, which most of them had never even ever heard let alone seen or tasted. Even those who have had occasional chocolate back in their countries were impressed the uniqueness of Arendelle chocolate.

Then, after letting our tummies settle and catching up with what their kingdoms had been up to and what adventures they had since the last time I saw them, it was the time to judge all the dresses. All our friends' dresses looked lovely, but the most difficult ones were mine, Elsa's, my daughter Rika's, who was the flower girl, Chel's and Honeymaren's, who were Elsa's bridesmaids. Honeymaren was the only one from the Northuldra so she could get ready for the next two days. The rest of tribe promised to come on the actual wedding day. These dresses were the most difficult because they were the most important, but thanks to Elsa adding a few icicle patterns onto them with her magical powers, it didn't take very long for them to be perfect as they could be. We felt very relieved and more ready for the big day.

Then Elsa and I hosted a feast for our friends. We had chicken, beef, lamb, salads, chips and pies and more cake and ice cream for desert. My family and I sometimes had fish, but this time we didn't, out of respect for Ariel, being a former mermaid, and her family and all her marine friends. Thanks to our great cooks and servants, the feast was another success. Then we all got very tired and got ready for bed.

So, yes, yesterday was a very tiring but successful day and we made a lot of progress. And today was no less busy for me. As Elsa's maid of honour, I got up extra early today at six o'clock to make sure that everything was ready for Elsa's hen night tonight and wedding tomorrow. I was never a morning person, but making sure that my sister's wedding was perfect motivated me to wake up when I did and get on with it.

The first thing I did after breakfast, which was some cooks kindly got up early as I did to cook me a boiled egg, bacon and some toast with butter, was check the courtyard and made sure it was ready for the wedding reception after the ceremony tomorrow, which it was.

Then I left the castle and started to walk to the shops to check that our orders of food for tonight's hen party and tomorrow's wedding breakfast. As I made my way, I yawned because I was still tired from waking up so early. I was so tired I didn't see who I bumped into until we both collapsed to the ground. "Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry."

"It's no problem, Anna."

That sounded like Tulio and, when I looked at him, I saw that he was. He was soon up on his feet and he helped me up.

"Hi, Tulio. Um, what are you doing here?"

"I just want to make sure that everything is ready for Miguel's bachelor night and for his wedding tomorrow. You know, being his best man."

"As her maid of honour, that's what I'm doing for Elsa. We can inspect together if you like, as maid of honour and best man."

Tulio smiled. "Good idea, Anna. Lead on."

So I did.

So Tulio and I got to work right away to check tonight's parties and tomorrow's wedding were ready. And they were. All the food and drink from the shops were ready, there wasn't a single flower missing from the florists and the rest kingdom of Arendelle was ready especially the church, the castle, the royal carriage and the soldiers who would be on the street tomorrow all knew what to do.

But sadly everything was not ready as there were only two things missing: my speech and Tulio's. It wasn't because we were so busy with our lives and getting ready for the wedding, which we were, but because my sister meant so much to me and Miguel meant so much to Tulio and neither of us could work out the words how to express them. We tried to work out together, but we couldn't.

"Well, the good news is that, apart from our speeches, everything for tonight's parties and the wedding for tomorrow," Tulio said.

I smiled. "Yeah, that's great news."

"Well, I'd better go and get Miguel's bachelor party ready. Good luck with tonight and tomorrow, Anna. And don't worry. You'll do great. You're already a great maid of honour. Look at what you're doing for your sister."

"Thanks, Tulio. That really means a lot to me. And you're already a great best man, doing all of this for Miguel. And good luck to you for tonight and tomorrow as well."

Tulio smiled. "Thanks, Anna."
"Bye," we said at the same time.

Then I went back to the castle to get the bachelorette party ready, while Tulio went back to my mansion to get Miguel's bachelor party going.

Tonight the bachelorette party went ahead as plan and it was a success. Everyone loved the food we ate and the games we participated in. I was enjoying them, but at the same time, I was trying to work out my maid of honour speech, but I still couldn't. I still had no idea even when I went to bed with Elsa. I couldn't even tell her because we all needed our beauty sleep and I didn't want to keep anyone up because of that. I hoped that I would have more ideas in the morning after catching up some sleep or when I would have some breakfast or when we would put on our dresses and makeup. I did more than hope.
