Oh, boy! I loved parties! I loved attending them, eating the most delicious food ever, catching up with old friends and making new ones and dancing with them among the many things I loved to do at parties. I guess you could call me one of the world's biggest party experts, if not the world's biggest party expert. I thought that until I was asked to ask to host a party for the children in the barn while all the grownup men were at Miguel's bachelor party and all the grownup women were at Elsa's bachelorette party. Tonight, I learned that hosting a party is very stressful. Even though I could still do the fun things I loved at parties, I never had the pressure of not only hosting the children but also making sure that they were safe as well.

There were some kids I knew very well like Kasper, Rika, some of their school friends, Betla, Eirny and Benito and there were some kids I just met two days like Benito's sister Pacay, Moana's daughter Fetia and Ariel's daughter Melody among them.

I had to make sure that all the kids were happy and no one was sad or crying and there was no one fighting with anyone over anything and there were enough food and drink for them.

I thought I was still making a good job and I was having fun, but I still focused on what I did. And all the children seemed to have gotten on quite well with each other. They all seemed to like Rika as she showed off her magical skills to grow plants and vegetables, which they all ate and said it was the most delicious thing they've ever eaten in their lives. I know that many kids, like me, don't like vegetables at all so them eating Rika's vegetables were a credit to her magical skills. And Princess Melody was very popular as we all listened to her stories about how she can be human and mermaid at different times and all the adventures she had as a mermaid with all her marine friends.
Then I remembered one thing this party was lacking: music. I borrowed Kristoff's guitar and started playing music. Then Benito joined me with his own guitar and so did Kasper with his own guitar. Everyone loved our music and enjoyed it.

I knew Kasper played a bit of guitar in his spare time ever since he was introduced to them, probably by his dad Kristoff who I knew he always loved to play guitar ever since the day I met him. On the other hand, I never knew Benito could play guitar and he surprised me with his amazing playing. "I didn't know you were a guitar expert," I told him as we rested.

"Well, I've only been playing since my sister Pacay was born," Benito told me. "It helps her get to sleep every night and I mean every night, but she is my sister and I love her very much."

As I continued to rest and watch the kids rest and chat with each other, I saw how the animal party that Sven and Altivo were hosting. All the animals seemed to be having a good time with each other. They were making their animal noises and laughing as if they understood each other and they even danced sometimes.

I was very glad when the kids' parents came to pick them up and those who came collect their animals. I wasn't glad because I didn't enjoy the kids' company or didn't have any fun with them at all, which I did – a lot – on both accounts, but because it was ten o'clock when they came and I didn't feel like I could carry on any more.

The last parents to pick up their kids were Tulio and Anna.

"Thank you so much for looking after our kids, Olaf," Tulio said.

"No problem," I said. "I'm glad to help everyone the best I can."

"And you certainly did tonight, Olaf," Anna said. "But I hope you have enough energy for tomorrow."

"Don't worry, Anna. I will." I yawned. "After I get some sleep tonight. So, how were your parties tonight?"

"I think Elsa's bachelorette party was a success," Anna said. "Elsa and my friends really enjoyed the hen party."

"And I think Miguel's bachelor party was successful too," Tulio said. "All the guys had a really great time."

"And everything is more or less ready for tomorrow," Anna said.

"Excluding my best man speech," Tulio muttered.

"Count my maid of honour speech in too," Anna said.

"Well, I don't know how I can help you," I said. "I can't read or write and I don't know anything about making speeches. I know you, Anna, and Elsa do them all the time, but I still don't how you do it."

"Well, the speeches are part of the royal business, Olaf," Anna told me. "We have advisors who help us with that."

"Well, why don't you get those guys to help?" I suggested.

"Because these speeches are personal to me and Tulio," Anna said. "My sister and his best friend are getting married tomorrow."

"And we still don't even know what to jot down let alone write the speech," Tulio said.

"Well, all I know is that both Miguel and Elsa mean so much to me. When I look at them, I see that they are very happy with each other and that makes me feel very happy. And we wish them all nothing but happiness."

"Olaf, that's it!" Anna and Tulio said together.

"What did I do?" I swear I had no idea what I said could have helped them.

"You helped us with our speeches," Anna said.

I still don't know how I helped, but I was glad I did.

Then Tulio and Anna picked up their kids and started to leave.

"Oh, don't worry about the mess, Olaf," Anna said. "We'll clear it up the day after the wedding. You go and get some sleep and get your energy for tomorrow. You've done a great job tonight."

"Thanks, Anna," I said. "See you tomorrow, guys. I'm really looking forward to it."

"Night, Olaf." My friends waved to me as they left. I waved back. No sooner had they left than I crashed onto the nearest haystack and fell asleep.
