Before we get started, I would like to thank CharlieCharly18 for the characters, enemies, and bosses. I did replace some of his characters and bosses and might replace some of his enemies with some of my own. They will all be Heartless from Kingdom Hearts with the Koopa Troops and ROBs being replaced by different enemies from different games.
Chapter 1: Chaos In The Stadium
In a stadium hovering above the land, there was a tournament being held. In the skybox are two girls. One of the girls is a pink hedgehog with cream-colored cheeks and arms, wears a red dress, white gloves, and red boots. The other girl is a young woman with black hair, wears a black tank top, black gloves, and black shorts. They are Amy Rose and Tifa Lockhart.
Amy: This is going to be exciting! I can't wait to see Sonic battle!
Tifa: Yeah, but it's a shame Cloud is not here. I wish I know where he is.
Amy: Don't worry, Tifa. I have a feeling that you'll find him someday.
The announcer came on stage.
Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Megaland Stadium! Today, we will have a practice match before the real deal! First of all, we shall introduce the hero of Mobius! That's right, folks! Let's give it up for Sonic the Hedgehog!
The audience cheers, as a trophy came onto the stage. Amy smiles in joy. The trophy is a blue hedgehog with cream-colored cheeks, tummy, and arms, wears white gloves, and red shoes with white stripes. The hedgehog is Sonic the Hedgehog. A huge light appears and the trophy disappears to reveal Sonic waving at the crowd.
Amy: Come on, Sonic!
Sonic bows to Amy.
Sonic: This battle is for you, Amy.
Announcer: And his opponent is the hero of Megaland! Here comes Megaman, the Super Fighting Robot!
Another trophy appears and glows, revealing a boy robot wearing a blue helmet, light blue jumpsuit, blue gloves, trunks, and boots. He is Megaman, the hero of Megaland.
Megaman: Hey Sonic. I may win and lose to you in some Smash Bros. Tournaments, but I won't lose in this stadium.
Sonic: We'll see about that, Megaman.
Both Sonic and Megaman got in their fighting stances.
Announcer: Ready...GO!
Sonic and Megaman charges at each other. Sonic uses Spin Dash to roll his body like a ball on the ground into Megaman, but Megaman uses Mirror Buster to create a mirror shield to block Sonic's attack. He then uses Crash Bomber to fire a red sticky bomb to stick onto Sonic. The Crash Bomber then explodes on Sonic, doing some damage to him. Megaman then uses Time Stopper to freeze time, but Sonic uses Chaos Control to do the same thing, freezing everything in time except the both of them.
Sonic: HA! Think you can just beat me again with that trick?
Megaman: I see that you came well prepared this time, Sonic.
Sonic was holding a blue emerald called the Chaos Emerald.
Sonic: This time, I brought a Chaos Emerald with me to prepare for that move.
Megaman: Very clever, Sonic. But the battle has just begun.
Meanwhile, in a house by a beach, someone is watching the fight on TV. He is a teenage boy with brown spiky hair, wears a black jacket with red trims on it, black fingerless gloves, black shorts, and black shoes. He is Sora, the Keyblade Master from Destiny Islands. He was enjoying the fight.
Sora: Man! Just looking at them makes me wanna fight too! I wish I could be just like them!
Megaman uses Super Mega Buster to fire a charge shot from his arm cannon at Sonic, but Sonic jumps up to dodge the attack and uses Homing Attack to do a Spin Dash in the air at Megaman, doing some damage to him. He then uses Sonic Wind to create a blue tornado around Megaman. He took alot of damage and got knocked out, turning into a trophy.
Sonic: Looks like I won!
The trophy of Megaman fell onto the ground. Sonic walks up to it and touches the stand, making it glow, and bringing Megaman back to life.
Megaman: Man, you have gotten stronger, Sonic.
Sonic: You too, Megaman. Hopefully we'll fight again in the next Smash Bros. Tournament.
Sonic and Megaman shook hands. The audience cheers at their fight. Amy jumps with joy and Tifa claps joyfully. Sonic and Megaman waves to the audience. Suddenly, everyone hears a rumble.
Megaman: What's going on? Why is the sky turning red?
Sonic and Megaman looks up to see red clouds coming towards them and a huge red and gray battleship heading towards them.
Sonic: It's the Egg Carrier!
Megaman: You know that thing?
Sonic: That's the ship that Eggman used to try to take over the world with Chaos!
Amy and Tifa were as shocked as Sonic and Megaman. Suddenly, purple liquid came down from the ship and lands onto the arena. They then form into black creatures with antennas and yellow eyes. They are called Heartless.
Amy: Sonic and Megaman are in trouble!
Tifa: We gotta help them out!
The two girls ran down from the skybox and onto the stage.
Megaman: Amy? Tifa?
Amy: Sonic, I won't let you get killed. We'll fight together.
Sonic: Tifa, if you get killed, then what would Cloud do to me?
Tifa: Don't worry, Sonic. I can handle myself with or without Cloud.
The two heroes nodded and got in their fighting stances. The Heartless are the Shadow Heartless. They attack the gang with their claws, but the gang easily dodges their attacks. Sonic delivers punches and kicks on the Heartless, while Megaman fires his Mega Buster. Amy uses her Piko Piko Hammer to smash the Heartless, while Tifa delivers punches and kicks.
Megaman: That should take care of them!
Suddenly, some Heartless wearing white bird-like helmets called Soldiers, Heartless wearing golden helmets, yellow pants, and wielding duo scimitars called Luna Bandits, and flying bronze robot Heartless called Surveillance Robots appeared.
Amy: No! It's not over yet! Let's take them out!
The Soldiers did their spinning kicks on the gang, The Luna Bandits slashed their scimitars, and the Surveillance Robots fire their lasers, but the gang easily dodges their attacks. Sonic uses Spin Dash on the Soldiers, Amy and Tifa takes out the Luna Bandits with their Piko Piko Hammer, punches, and kicks, while Megaman uses Metal Blades to throw sawblades at the Surveillance Robots. They took out all the Heartless.
Tifa: That was a close one.
Suddenly, someone came in on a platform. The person is a black hedgehog with cream-colored cheeks, red streaks on his spiky hair, wears a green conical hat, and green robes.
Sonic & Amy: Shadow?
Shadow: Sorry, Sonic. But as a cause for the Subspace Army, I have orders to take this place out.
Megaman: The Subspace Army is back? But I thought Mario and the others defeated Tabuu.
Shadow pressed a button and drops a big ball with a red X on it down to the arena. Two red Ride Armors driven by blue Reploids with red mono-eyes called Armor Soldiers grabbed each side of the ball and pulls it open. Inside was a timer that starts a 3:00.
Sonic: A Subspace Bomb? We know this scheme, we defeated this once, we can do it again!
Shadow: Oh really? I must leave now to help the Subspace Army conquer the world. Farewell, fools.
He then flew away to the Egg Carrier.
Sonic: Shadow! Wait!
Sonic tried to stop him, but then a loud boom was heard. Everyone turns around to the dust. Suddenly, a cannonball shot out and hit Sonic, sending him flying into the sky, and disappears.
Amy: SONIC!
Megaman ran up to see.
Megaman: Sonic! Hold on!
Suddenly, he hears some screams. He turns around to see a giant yellow blob-like robot with a red mono-eye. It is called the Yellow Devil, one of Dr. Wily's robots. The Yellow Devil is holding two cages. One holds Amy and the other holds Tifa.
Amy: Megaman! Help me!
Tifa: Megaman! Save us!
Megaman: Darn it! I gotta save one of them! But who?
The Yellow Devil uses the cages as weapons to attack Megaman, but he dodges them.
Megaman: I know the Yellow Devil is weak against my Thunder Beam. But which cage should I break first?
Amy: Megaman, don't worry about me! Help Tifa! She is the one in danger!
Tifa: Don't worry about me, Megaman! Save Amy!
Megaman: If I don't save one of them, either Sonic or Cloud will have my head. Well, here goes. I choose Amy!
Amy was shocked, while Tifa smiles. Megaman charges at the Yellow Devil and uses Hard Knuckle to fire his forearm like a rocket at Amy's cage, doing alot of damage to it. He then uses Thunder Beam to fire lightning at the Yellow Devil, doing alot of damage to it. After Megaman uses Hard Knuckle on Amy's cage and Thunder Beam on the Yellow Devil many times, the yellow blob robot explodes. Megaman leaps out of the explosion with Amy.
Amy: Thank you, Megaman. That was a little scary.
Megaman: You're welcome, Amy. Now we gotta save Tifa.
Megaman and Amy looks around for Tifa, but then someone came down from the sky. The person is a pale vampire with white long hair, white beard, and wears a black robe with a black suit under it. He is carrying a huge cannon in front of Megaman and Amy.
Megaman: Dracula?
Dracula: Surprised? Don't think you have defeated us villains yet!
Amy: What is that cannon you're carrying?
Dracula: This cannon? It can turn anyone into trophies.
Megaman: What are you talking about?
Dracula turns to see Tifa, who got out from her cage, trying to get up.
Dracula: Well, there's something you don't see everyday. I think a demonstration is in order.
He turns to face Tifa and begins to charge up his cannon.
Amy: TIFA! RUN!
Tifa saw Dracula fire a black arrow at her, but she was too late to move. The arrow hits through Tifa.
Tifa: Cloud...
When the light dies down, Tifa was turned into a trophy. Dracula picks up the trophy.
Dracula: Be warned. We have Heartless on our side. We won't rest until we defeat you. Now I must leave.
He leaps out of the stadium, taking Tifa with him.
Amy: Poor Tifa! We have to save her!
Megaman looks at the timer. It has ten seconds left.
Megaman: We have to get outta here now! RUSH!
A red light beams down and a red dog robot appears. His name is Rush. He is Megaman's dog. He transforms into Rush Jet and Megaman and Amy got on him and flew out of the stadium. The bomb hits 00:00:00 and the whole stadium was engulfed by a huge dark sphere. Megaman and Amy watches in horror, as they quickly flew away.
Megaman: What a disaster! We have to go after the Egg Carrier! My guess is the Dracula took Tifa there!
Amy: Sonic, where are you?
That's the end of chapter 1. Next time, our adventure begins with Sora finding Sonic.
