In the next chapter, the Mavericks will replace the ROBs.
Chapter 7: Lost In The Sleeping Forest And Mysterious Lab
In the Sleeping Forest, a white creature with a cream-colored face with black-dotted eyes, a pink antenna behind his head, wearing a blue jumpsuit with a belt, pink hands, and pink feet was walking around. He is White Bomber the Bomberman.
Bomberman: I'm not sure this is the right direction. My feet are getting tired. I think I'll take a rest first.
He spots a log.
Bomberman: That looks like a perfect spot. Let's sit down here.
He sat on the log. Meanwhile, the same blonde young man in a black vest was walking towards a green Chaos Emerald on the alter.
Man: OK, Chaos Emerald. Please lend me your power.
He picks up the emerald and a huge light glows. He held up the emerald and the light shines on his face. He is Cloud Strife, the hero of Midgar.
Cloud: Now I can rescue Tifa.
He starts walking through the forest and walks past Bomberman. Bomberman was looking at his map.
Bomberman: I wonder...Where could Sonic and Megaman be? Let's see, I am here...
Before he could continue, it became dark. He looks up and gasps.
Bomberman: Is that the Egg Carrier?
The ship drops the purple liquid and it forms into Heartless.
Bomberman: What are those things? I've never been so scared before.
?: BLADE BEAM!
Before the Heartless could attack Bomberman, a green sword wave destroys them. Bomberman looks around and saw Cloud coming to him. He is carrying a giant sword made of six different swords called the Fusion Sword.
Cloud: Are you alright, Bomberman?
Bomberman: I'm fine. Thanks for saving me, Cloud.
Suddenly, more Heartless appeared.
Cloud: Great! More Heartless! Think you can help me out?
Bomberman: You got it!
The Heartless that they fought are the Shadow Heartless, Soldier Heartless, and Luna Bandits. Bomberman threw his Fire Bombs to blow up the Shadow and Soldier Heartless, while Cloud uses Braver to do a jump attack with his Fusion Sword on the Luna Bandits. They took out the Heartless.
Cloud: We have to follow the Egg Carrier! Follow me, Bomberman!
Bomberman: Right!
Cloud and Bomberman went to the tree area, where they got attacked by some Earth Cores, Soldier Heartless, and flying pirate-like Heartless called Air Pirates. The Air Pirates delivered punches at Cloud and Bomberman, but they easily dodged their attacks. Bomberman threw his Ice Bombs to freeze the Soldier Heartless and Earth Cores, while Cloud uses Climhazzard to do an uppercut with his sword at the Air Pirates. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next area, where they got ambushed by more Solider Heartless and Air Pirates. Bomberman threw his Wind Bombs to create tornadoes to blow away the Air Pirates, while Cloud uses Cross Slash to slash the Soldier Heartless with a kanji symbol. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the next area, which is a treetop area.
Cloud: Well, now how do we cross over this area?
Bomberman: There is a green path that the trees have made.
Bomberman points to the green path the trees have made.
Cloud: Well, that was pretty convenient.
Cloud and Bomberman walks over the green path, where they got attacked by some Rapid Thrusters and green wizard-like Heartless with books called Bookmasters. The Bookmasters use magic like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder, but Cloud and Bomberman easily dodges their attacks. Bomberman threw his Thunder Bombs to zap the Rapid Thrusters, while Cloud uses Blade Beam to fire a sword wave from his sword at the Bookmasters. They took out the Heartless and use the springs at the end of the green path to jump over to higher areas, where they got attacked by more Bookmasters, Large Bodies, and Air Pirates. Cloud uses Meteorain to summon meteors to attack the Heartless, taking them out. He and Bomberman then made it out of the Sleeping Forest and into the plains.
Bomberman: We're finally outta the woods!
Suddenly, some more Heartless like the Air Soldiers and Heat Sabers appeared.
Cloud: But there are still Heartless here! Let's take them out!
In the area are some trackballs near the enemies. Bomberman threw his Water Bombs to soak up the Heat Sabers, while Cloud hits the trackballs with his sword and they took out the Air Soldiers and Heat Sabers. They proceed to the next area, where there is a series of trackballs in a line and Popcats under those lines. Bomberman hits one of the trackballs, making it hit the other trackballs, which hit all the Popcats. They proceed to the next area, where they are attacked by some scorpion-like Heartless inside pots called Pot Scorpions.
Bomberman: What kinda Heartless is that?
Cloud: It is called a Pot Scorpion. We should take them out.
The Pot Scorpions attacked Cloud and Bomberman with their stingers, but they easily dodged their attacks. Bomberman threw his Napalm Bombs to burn the Pot Scorpions with lava. He and Cloud then jumps up a series of platforms in the ruins and hits a trackball to break a block. They then use the spring to jump up to another cliff, where they got attacked by more Air Solders, Heat Sabers, and Pot Scorpions. Cloud uses Finishing Touch to summon a tornado to take out all the Heartless. He and Bomberman keeps chasing the Egg Carrier.
Cloud: That should be the last of them.
Bomberman: I gotta say, Cloud. You didn't use your Limit Breaks as much before.
Cloud: I think it must have something to do with this.
He pulls out the Chaos Emerald.
Bomberman: The Chaos Emerald! That must be the reason why you use your Limit Breaks more often.
Cloud: Yeah. By the way, I'm on my way to find Tifa. Perhaps you would like to come with me?
Bomberman: I don't see why not.
Cloud: Great! It's been awhile since we've been on an adventure.
They reached the end of the path, as they watched the Egg Carrier flying away.
Cloud: Darn! They got away!
Bomberman saw another path leading the other way.
Bomberman: Then we'll have to take a different path.
Cloud: That's right. There's a field there. Maybe we'll find it there. Let's go!
And they ran off down the path. Inside the Egg Carrier, there was a box lying in the ground, which moves a little bit. Hmm...In another place, a secret lab, a vent was kicked out and a blue Reploid came down. He looks like Megaman, but much taller. He is Megaman X of the Maverick Hunters.
X: My Ultimate Armor must be here somewhere.
He ran across the lab and went up an elevator and enters a door.
X: Now where could it be?
?: HELP!
He turns around and saw a machine with a glass tube in the middle. Inside the tube, he saw a purple dragon with yellow horns, wings, and tummy getting zapped by a green light. He is Spyro the Dragon from the Dragon Realm.
X: Oh no! Are you alright?
When the light dies down, Spyro lands on the bottom of the tube and looks up, trying to get up.
Spyro: It hurts alot. I wish Crash was here.
Then the machine starts up again, shocking Spyro more.
X: NO! STOP IT!
X fires his X-Buster at the glass tube, breaking it open. Spyro saw the exit and jumps out.
Spyro: Thanks for saving me. Who are you?
X: I am Megaman X, but you can call me X.
Spyro: Nice to meet you, X. I'm Spyro the Dragon.
The alarm went off and alot of Mavericks appeared.
X: Great! Now we have Mavericks here! Spyro, I may need your help!
Spyro: You got it! I've been wanting to get back at those creeps for locking me here!
The Mavericks they were fighting are the Armor Soldiers and blue turret Mechaniloids called Gunvolts. The Armor Soldiers punched at X and Spyro with their Ride Armors, while the Gunvolts fired lasers at X and Spyro, but they easily dodged their attacks. X uses Super X-Buster to fire a charge shot from his X-Buster at the Armor Soldiers, while Spyro uses his Fire Breath to burn the Gunvolts. They took out the Mavericks and proceed to the next room, which is a huge room with circling platforms.
X: Where are we?
Spyro: I believe this is a big room that leads to many rooms.
X: OK. Which way should we go?
Spyro: I believe we should go that way.
Spyro points to a room at the southeast of the room. He and X went to the southeastern room, which takes them to a big platform with two floating platforms, where they got ambushed by more Armor Soldiers and Angel Stars. X uses Storm Tornado to fire horizontal tornadoes at the Angel Stars, while Spyro uses Horn Charge to charge at the Armor Soldiers with his horns. They took out the enemies and proceed forward. They went through the hallway until they came across a room with a key.
X: What is that key for?
Spyro: We need it to enter a room.
Spyro grabs the key, but then they got ambushed by more Armor Soldiers and Hook Bats. X uses Tornado Fang to fire drill missiles at the Armor Soldiers, then he uses Rising Fire to shoot fireballs upward at the Hook Bats. They took out the enemies and return to the hallway and use the key to unlock the locked door. They jumped on some platforms that leads them to a higher level and went down a hallway, where they encountered an Angel Star guarding the key.
Spyro: We need to take out that Heartless to get the key.
Spyro uses his Ice Breath to freeze the Angel Star, allowing X to use Spin Wheel to fire an energy sawblade at the Heartless, taking it out. They grabbed the key and went back to the hallway. They used the key to unlock the locked door, which leads them to another room with a button.
Spyro: There's the button we need to activate.
They pressed the button and the platform in the room starts rising up to the upper floor. They ran back to the hallway and returned to the main hall, where they jumped on one of the circling platforms. They jumped off the platform and went to the eastern room, which takes them to a huge room with a giant pit and the same platform from the lower floor.
X: That must be the same platform we activated from the lower floor. I wonder where it will take us.
They jumped on the platform and it moves them forward through a very long room. They dodged alot of Dark Wisps along the way until the platform reached a wall, where some Yellow Operas appeared. X uses Shotgun Ice to fire ice balls at the Yellow Operas. After taking out the Heartless, a button appears. Spyro pressed the button, making a series of platforms rise up.
Spyro: Now we can get back to the main hall.
X and Spyro jumps over the platforms, dodging the Dark Wisps again, and returns to the main hall. They jumped on the circling platforms and jumped off to the western ledge, where they climbed up the ladder that takes them to the northwestern room, which has a waterfall and a series of ladders. They looked all the way up the room.
X: That's a really long way up.
Spyro: We should climb all the way to the top.
They climbed up some ladders, fighting off more enemies like the Darkballs and purple tortoise Mechaniloids called Mega Tortoises. The Mega Tortoises fired missiles at X and Spyro, but they easily dodged their attacks. X uses Twin Slasher to fire two energy blades at the Darkballs, while Spyro uses his Electric Breath to zap the Mega Tortoises. They took out the enemies and reach the top of the room. They proceed to the next room, where they got attacked by Giant Darkballs. X uses Triad Thunder to summon three dynamos to fire lightning at the Giant Darkballs, taking them out. He and Spyro proceeds forward, dodging the Quark Mines, and taking out the Mega Tortoises. When they made it to a big platform with three floating platforms, they got ambushed by metallic satyr-like Heartless called Mechanitaurs.
Spyro: Oh come on! How many more enemies are we gonna fight?
X: Relax. Just take them out and we can proceed.
The Mechanitaurs charged at X and Spyro, but they easily dodged their attacks. X uses Spike Ball to fire flails at the Mechanitaurs, while Spyro uses his Super Fire Breath to shoot out fireballs. They took out the Heartless and proceed to the computer room and look around the room.
Spyro: So what are we looking for?
X: We're looking for my Ultimate Armor. I wonder if this computer has any cameras that shows it's location.
X looks around and gasps at something. There was a glass case in a huge room. In there is a dark blue and purple armor.
X: There it is! My Ultimate Armor! Spyro, let's hurry!
They both nodded at each other and ran out of the room.
That's it for chapter 7. Next time, Amy will get kidnapped by Eggman, Sonic and Sora will battle Cloud and Bomberman, and Megaman will unite the two groups together to rescue Tifa and the others.
