Chapter 8: Sonic And Sora VS Cloud And Bomberman

Megaman is taking Amy somewhere to help her find a hiding place until the time is right. Megaman did not wanna see the looks on Sonic's face when he hears something bad happens to Amy. They appeared to be near a lake.

Amy: Megaman, where do we hide?

Before Megaman could reply, he saw Wily driving away with the trophies of Tifa, Pac-Man, and Crash.

Megaman: It's Wily! What is he up to?

He turns to Amy.

Megaman: Amy, you'll have to go alone. I have to go.

He ran and left the pink hedgehog.

Amy: Wait, Megaman! Where am I suppose to hide?

Suddenly, she hears a loud thud behind her. She turns around to see Eggman holding a Dark Cannon.

Eggman: It's been awhile, Amy Rose.

Amy: DR. EGGMAN!

He fires his Dark Cannon.

Amy: Oh no! Sonic...

Amy was turned into a trophy.

Eggman:(Laughs)That was quick. Now I will take you to Sephiroth. Shadow Bugs!

The Dark Eggman appears next to him.

Eggman: You know what to do.

The Dark Eggman breaks into purple liquid and covers the trophy form of Amy. Meanwhile, Sonic and Sora were running across the field. Sonic just jogs because he is so fast, he has to slow down, so Sora could catch up.

Sonic: So how far is Shadow?

Sora: I think he's not too far.

Sonic: Then let's kick it in top speed!

Sora: How about not?

While they were running, a Dark Amy appears and held up her Dark Cannon. She aims at Sonic and begins to charge up her gun. But before she could fire...

SLASH!

Her cannon was slashed in half and explodes, sending her back. She turns to see who did it. It was Cloud. He uses his Fusion Sword to chop up the cannon. Bomberman joins him.

Bomberman: Amy, what are you doing?

Cloud: That's not Amy! That's just a fake!

Bomberman looks at the Dark Amy's yellow eyes glaring at him.

Bomberman: She is an imposter! We have to defeat her, Cloud!

Cloud: I'm one step ahead of you!

The Dark Amy charges at them, but they dodged her. Cloud uses Blade Beam on Dark Amy, while Bomberman threw his Fire Bombs, doing some damage to her. Dark Amy uses Pink Typhoon on Cloud and Bomberman, doing some damage to them. Cloud uses Cross Slash on Dark Amy, while Bomberman threw his Thunder Bombs, doing some more damage to her. Dark Amy uses Hammer Spin Attack on Cloud and Bomberman, doing some more damage to them. Cloud uses Meteorain on Dark Amy, while Bomberman uses his Giant Bomb to throw a bigger Fire Bomb. Both attacks did alot of damage to Dark Amy, turning her into a trophy.

Bomberman: Is it over?

Cloud: Yeah, it's over. Now we need to find Tifa.

But Cloud did not notice Sonic, who spots them. He stops dead in his tracks and looks up to the hill.

Sonic: Oh no!

Sora: What?

Sora stops too. He looks up as well to see Cloud and Bomberman over the Amy trophy. The Amy trophy turns into purple liquid and disappears. Sonic was watching in sadness with his eyes watered with tears, as he saw Amy gone before his eyes. His lover is gone.

Sonic: A...Amy...No...

He then looks at Cloud and a mighty rage erupts within him.

Sonic: CLOUD! THAT MURDEROUS TRAITOR! HE'S GOING TO PAY!

Hearing his shout, Cloud turns around to see an enraged Sonic running towards him and leaping up in the air with his fist raised, ready to strike. Cloud manages to dodge in time, as Sonic's fist hits the ground. Sora joins Sonic to see what he's up against and Bomberman joins Cloud.

Cloud: What's your problem, Sonic?

Sonic: YOU TRAITOR! HOW DARE YOU KILL AMY! YOU WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS!

Cloud: Uh-oh! He must have mistaken that fake Amy for the real Amy. That moron!

Sonic uses Spin Dash on Cloud, who blocks the attack with his sword.

Bomberman: Sonic, what are you doing?

Sonic: Bomberman, stay outta this! I'll take care of this murderer myself!

Sonic pulls out his Chaos Emerald to increase his powers.

Cloud: Something tells me this doesn't look good. I better be on my guard.

Cloud pulls out his Chaos Emerald to increase his powers too. Both Sonic and Cloud clashed with each other.

Bomberman: Sonic, you don't understand!

He then saw Sora charges at him with his Keyblade. He jumps away from Sora's attack in time.

Sora: You will pay for what you done!

Sora activates his Wisdom Form to change his clothes blue.

Bomberman: Looks like I have no choice but to fight you.

Bomberman pulls out a Red Bomb Upgrade and uses it. Sora uses Wisdom Shots to fire blue arrows at Bomberman, doing some damage to him. Bomberman threw his Red Bombs to create giant explosions on Sora, doing alot of damage to him. Sonic uses Homing Attack on Cloud, doing some damage to him. Cloud uses Braver on Sonic, doing some damage to him. Sora uses Firaga on Bomberman, doing some damage to him. Bomberman uses Bomb Kick to kick his Red Bombs to stun Sora, making them explode on him. Sonic uses Sonic Wave on Cloud, doing some damage to him. Cloud uses Climhazzard on Sonic doing some damage to him.

Bomberman: These two are really powerful, Cloud!

Cloud: Then we have to finish them off!

Sonic uses Sonic Wind on Cloud, while Sora uses Thundaga on Bomberman, but they both dodged their attacks. Bomberman threw his Giant Red Bomb on Sora to create an even bigger explosion, while Cloud uses Omnislash to rapidly slash Sonic multiple times and finish with one powerful jump attack. Both attacks did alot of damage to Sonic and Sora, knocking them out. The trophy forms of Sonic and Sora lays down on the ground. Cloud and Bomberman fell to one knee out of breath. They looked at the trophies.

Cloud: Sorry Sonic. But you left us with no choice.

Bomberman: I think he attacked you because he thought you killed Amy.

Cloud: Speaking of lovers, where is Tifa?

Before Bomberman could answer, Wily's truck appears and stops in front of them. The two heroes coughed through the dust until it died down. Wily spots the defeated trophies.

Wily: What's this? More trophies?

Cloud was about to look at him until he saw the Tifa trophy.

Tifa: Cloud...HELP!

Cloud: TIFA! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER, WILY?

Wily: Nothing. Blame Dracula for that. But I must take what's rightfully mine.

He uses the crane to grab Sonic and Sora.

Bomberman: Hey, give them back, Wily!

Wily: Sorry, but now I must take my leave.

Suddenly, Megaman appears and grabs the crane.

Megaman: That's what you think, Wily!

Wily: MEGAMAN!

Megaman uses Flame Sword to cut the crane with his flaming sword and revives Sonic and Sora.

Wily: NO! What have you done?

Sora: What just happened?

Megaman: I'll explain later. But right now, let's get these trophies back to life.

Wily was getting away with the Pac-Man, Crash, and Tifa trophies. To slow him down, Sora uses Firaga, which hits the truck, causing it to catch smoke. After Megaman told him everything what he saw and heard, Sonic was shocked to hear that Amy was kidnapped again, but felt guilty about blaming Cloud.

Megaman: Hey, if you wanna apologize, now's the time.

Sonic nods and turns to Cloud

Sonic: Hey Cloud. I'm terribly sorry I accused you of being a murderer. It's because...like you...I don't like seeing my loved one getting killed.

Cloud: Hey, it's alright, Sonic. I'm not upset with you. I was worried because now we need to get Tifa back.

Megaman: Come on! Let's follow Wily!

Sonic, Cloud, Megaman, Sora, and Bomberman ran after Wily. Along the way, they got attacked by some Popcats, Large Bodies, and bomb-like Heartless called Minute Bombs. The Minute Bombs tried to blow up on the gang, but they dodged their attacks. Sonic uses Fire Somersault on the Minute Bombs, Cloud uses Blade Beam on the Popcats, while Megaman uses Drill Bomb to fire drill missiles to explode on the Large Bodies. They took out the Heartless and went up to a big platform.

Sora: I wonder what that big platform is for.

The gang went on the platform and it starts floating up. Suddenly, they got ambushed by more Minute Bombs. Sora uses Firaga on them to blow them up, while Bomberman threw his Fire Bombs. After the Minute Bombs were taken out, a Defender and some Surveillance Robots appeared. Megaman uses Centaur Flash to create a flash of light to cover the entire area, taking out the Heartless. Suddenly, the platform starts to shrink.

Bomberman: Is it me, or is the platform shrinking?

The gang looks around the platform.

Megaman: I think it is! Let's get out!

Before they could jump off the platform, they saw some Buzzbombers flying towards them.

Sonic: Now we're getting attacked by Eggman's Robots? We better take them out first!

Sonic uses Homing Attack to take out the Buzzbombers. The gang jumps down the platform and proceeds forward. They go through a tunnel with platforms that go up and down and some more Heartless like the Earth Cores and Popcats. Sora uses Blizzaga on the Earth Cores, while Bomberman threw his Gravity Bombs to create black holes to suck up the Popcats. They took out the Heartless and proceed to a cave. The truck was parked outside.

Megaman: I know this sounds strange, but apart from Tifa, I saw Pac-Man and a bandicoot in there as well.

Sonic: What? Pac-Man and a bandicoot are trophies too?

Cloud: More reasons for us to help them.

Sora: Let's go inside.

The gang went inside the cave, where they got ambushed by devil-like Heartless with swords called Invisibles.

Bomberman: What are those Heartless?

Sora: They are called Invisibles. Be very careful with them. They are very powerful.

The Invisibles slashed their swords at the gang, but they easily dodged their attacks. Cloud uses Cross Slash to take them out. The gang jumps down a pit, which takes them to a minecart. They ride the minecart until it lands on the pond, making them all get out. They jumped on some platforms and took out some Air Soldiers along the way. They keep jumping up the platforms until they reached the ledge and got in, where they saw molten rocks going up and down. They dodged the molten rocks and proceed to the next room, where there is a key and three doors.

Cloud: Well, there are three doors and a key. Which door are we gonna open?

Sonic uses his ears to listen to the doors. He hears a sound in the top door.

Megaman: Do you know which door it is, Sonic?

Sonic: Yes. It's the top one.

Sonic grabs the key and opens the top door. The gang went through the top door, where they got attacked by an Invisible. Megaman uses Slash Claw to slash his arm at the Invisible like a claw, taking the Heartless out. The gang proceeds to a wall with a Bomb Block. Sonic uses Sonic Wave on the block and it explodes, making a path for the gang. They proceed through the tunnel until they got ambushed by more Air Soldiers, Large Bodies, and Invisibles. Sonic uses Lightspeed Attack on the Air Soldiers and Large Bodies, while Cloud uses Climhazzard on the Invisibles. After taking out all the Heartless, the gang made it out of the cave and saw a skull-like castle on a cliffside. It is called Wily's Castle.

Sora: So that's Wily's Castle.

Bomberman: Right. We have to get there before Eggman does.

Cloud: Yeah, and I have a feeling that Sephiroth is behind all of this.

Sonic: What? First Dracula, then Eggman, and now Sephiroth? What is this? The bad guys' reunion?

Megaman: We should go in there and rescue our friends.

They made their way to the castle. Unknown to them, the Egg Carrier is approaching. Meanwhile, in a secret lab, a dark figure is talking to Eggman, who is on screen.

Eggman: Sephiroth, I have captured Amy Rose. Now where can I find Tifa Lockhart?

The figure named Sephiroth points to a map on the screen.

Sephiroth: You may find her at Wily's Castle. Get rid of Wily before Sonic, Megaman, and Cloud gets there and grab Tifa Lockhart. Make sure you bring her to me.

Eggman: What about Pac-Man and the bandicoot?

Sephiroth: Leave them.

Eggman: Understood!

Eggman left with his robots following him. Sephiroth is a man with long silver hair, has a black wing, wears a black trench coat, black gloves, black pants, and black boots. He smiles evilly.

Sephiroth: It won't be long now.

That's it for chapter 8. Can Sonic, Megaman, Cloud, and the others rescue Tifa, Pac-Man, and Crash from Wily before Eggman gets there? Stay tuned next time, as Klonoa and Hero 8 will get their revenge on Dracula in the desert.
