One fine summer day, once the school year was over, Charlie Brown was sitting under a tree, thinking about all the things that were going to happen during the summer. But this didn't go without Peppermint Patty coming to sit under the tree with him.

"Hey, Chuck!" Peppermint Patty said. "Have you any plans for the summer?"

"Not exactly, no." replied Charlie Brown. "Why do you ask?"

"Just asking, Chuck." Smiled Peppermint Patty.

"For all I know," Charlie Brown said. "Lucy is going to camp. That should give Linus and Rerun a break from their crabby sister."

"But what about Sally?" Peppermint Patty asked.

"Sally is staying in the neighbourhood this summer." Said Charlie Brown. "Once, she went to beanbag camp and overate junk, thus getting herself fat."

Charlie Brown could well remember the time Sally went to Beanbag Camp.

"That's still bad news for your friend Linus," added Peppermint Patty. "because Sally will just come up to him and call him her Sweet Babboo!"

"Er, about that." replied Charlie Brown. "After our last school dance, Linus decided that he is Sally's sweet babboo."

Then Peppermint Patty remembered.

"Well, I'd best get home, Chuck. Important chores to do at home."

"Pleasure talking to you, Patty." Charlie Brown said as he held out his hand, and Peppermint Patty held it, and they both shook.

"You touched my hand, Chuck!" swooned Peppermint Patty. "You are a sly dog!"

After Peppermint Patty left, a different girl decided to sit with Charlie Brown. This was a red-haired girl. Not the red-haired girl Charlie Brown loves dearly, but this red-haired girl has….. naturally curly hair, of which she's so proud. This red-haired girl was none other than Frieda. Dressed in a purple blouse, purple pleated skirt, matching socks, and black Mary Janes like Violet and the other Patty.

"Frieda?!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

"Hi, Charlie Brown." Smiled Frieda.

"What are you doing here?" Charlie Brown asked.

"Who wants to know? Maybe I just like company." Frieda answered.

"But why did you come to me, Frieda?"

"Because the psychiatric booth is closed for the summer." Frieda answered again.

"That's because Lucy is going to summer camp." Charlie Brown explained.

"That's too bad, Charlie Brown." Sighed Frieda.

Charlie Brown pondered and pondered…..

"Hmm…. I have a neat idea. Why don't you take over Lucy's psychiatric booth until Lucy gets back?"

"Lovely idea, Charlie Brown." Said Frieda. "I'm sure my patients will appreciate a psychiatrist with naturally curly hair."

"You'll have to ask Lucy. Said Charlie Brown. "She's still packing while we speak."

Later, Frieda walked over to the Van Pelt place to see Lucy. She knocked on the door, and Lucy opened it.

"Hello, Lucy." Said Frieda.

"Frieda?! What are you doing here?!" exclaimed Lucy. "Can't you see I'm packing for summer camp?"

"I hear you're closing your psychiatric booth until the end of summer." Said Frieda.

"What's it to you?" Lucy replied.

"I've been thinking I could take over until you get back." Said Frieda. "Besides, I'm sure the customers won't get enough of my…. Naturally curly hair."

"Alright. You can take over my psychiatric booth," Lucy said. "on one condition."

"What's that?" asked Frieda.

"Stay away from Schroeder. He's mine!" Lucy answered.

Whatever you say, Lucy." Said Frieda innocently.

Little did Lucy realise Frieda had her hands behind her back, and had her fingers crossed.

Later, as Frieda walked into the park, she saw Violet and her friend Patty using a jump rope. Frieda got into the middle of the rope. Suddenly, the rope caused Frieda to fly into the air, screaming, and land in the fountain. Frieda got out of the water. Upon getting out of the water, her hair was perfectly straight. She looked up at her hair.

"My naturally curly hair!" Frieda cried. "It's not curly anymore! AAUGH!"

Later, after arriving home, Frieda went into the bathroom and tried to curl her hair back the way it was. First, she used a hair curler, but that didn't do any good. Next, she tried hair tiers to get her hair curly again, but it was no good.

"Oh, good grief!" sighed Frieda.

Frieda heard her mother calling.

"Oh, er….. just primping my hair, Mom!" answered Frieda.

Frieda's mother then replied back.

"How am I supposed to get my hair curly again in time to run Lucy's Psychiatric Booth?" grunted Frieda.

Frieda, with her hair still down, went over to the Brown place again. She knocked on the door, and Charlie Brown answered it.

"Hello, Charlie Brown." Frieda said sadly.

"Hello….. er…."

At first, due to her hair losing its natural curliness, Charlie Brown didn't recognise Frieda until….

"It's me, Frieda!"

"Oh! Hi, Frieda." Said Charlie Brown. "And what happened to your hair?"

"I landed in the fountain, and my hair is all straight!" groaned Frieda.

"But why did you come to me again?" asked Charlie Brown.

"I remembered that your dad is a barber," answered Frieda. "and I want him to style my hair."

"My dad's too busy with other people's hair," said Charlie Brown. "so…."

Then he called;

"Snoopy!"

Frieda went out back and found Snoopy. Snoopy looked at Frieda in confusion.

"Since Charlie Brown's dad is busy at work," said Frieda. "I want you to style my hair, Snoopy."

Snoopy ran into his doghouse, ready to find the right hairdressing equipment to style Frieda's hair back up. He measured Frieda's hair, and then, he tried to remember Frieda's hairstyle.

"Come on, Beagle!" called Frieda. "The psychiatric booth waits for no psychiatrist!"

Snoopy then got to work on Frieda's hair. He had the exact style in mind.

Meanwhile, Charlie Brown was sitting in the beanbag watching TV when he heard…..

"AAAAAUUUUGH!"

"Frieda?!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

Frieda ran into the Brown house, appalled with the job Snoopy had done.

"Lucy?! Did you dye your hair?"

Snoopy had styled Frieda's hair like Lucy's.

"Why didn't you tell your beagle that I'm not Lucy?!" cried Frieda.

"Huh?!"

Frieda explained the whole situation to Charlie Brown.

"I know." Suggested Charlie Brown. "Frieda, since Lucy is going away, how about you pretend you're Lucy?"

"That's a clever idea, Charlie Brown." Smirked Frieda.

The following day, Lucy had packed all her gear ready for her camping trip, when Frieda came up.

"Oh. Hi….. another me?!" exclaimed Lucy.

"No, Lucy! You don't understand…." Frieda tried to explain.

"Did you style your hair like mine?" asked Lucy.

"No, Lucy." Begged Frieda. "It's not like that! I asked Charlie Brown's dog to….."

"So you asked Charlie Brown's stupid beagle to style your hair like mine?" grunted Lucy.

"No, no no! I…."

"Fine! If you wanna pretend to be me, so be it!" huffed Lucy as she left the Van Pelt residence, towards the bus, ready to go to summer camp.

"Well, goodbye, Lucy!" called Frieda.

Lucy boarded the bus. But as se got on, she saw a white beagle. We know this to be Snoopy, and so does Lucy. Knowing what happened one time Snoopy boarded the bus, Lucy grabbed Snoopy and threw him out of the bus.

"No dogs!" Lucy shouted.

The bus doors closed, and Frieda watched as the bus left for camp. Once the bus was out of sight…..

"Yay! I'm free!" Frieda jumped for joy.

Snoopy just sat on the ground, feeling dazed and confused.

"Ah, there you are, Snoopy!" demanded Frieda. "You made my hair all wrong! I want you to make my hair naturally curly again!"

Frieda brought Snoopy back to the Browns' house and into their backyard.

"Alright, Snoopy." Said Frieda sternly. "Remember that my hair is supposed to be naturally curly."

Snoopy pondered, trying to remember. Then, he got an idea on Frieda's new hairdo. He dashed into his doghouse to get the tools needed for hairdressing. Snoopy stood on top of his doghouse, and straightened Frieda's hair again, preparing to style it. The finishing result….. Snoopy handed Frieda a mirror and Frieda noticed…..

"AAUGH!" screamed Frieda.

Snoopy did style part of it curly, but not the entire lot. He styled Frieda's hair in the same do as Sally's.

"Charlie Brown!" cried Frieda

Frieda ran to the back door of the Brown residence and banged on the door. Charlie Brown answered the door and…..

"Sally?! Er…. Why is your hair red?" Charlie Brown asked, thinking Sally had dyed her hair.

"I am not your sister, Charlie Brown!" cried Frieda. "It's me, Frieda! Your stupid hound styled my hair all wrong!"

"But…. Isn't your hair naturally curly?" asked Charlie Brown, noticing the cluster of hair curls.

"Yes," cried Frieda. "but not like your sister's! I wanted it naturally curly like….. naturally curly!"

"Oh, good grief!" sighed Charlie Brown.

Just as Charlie Brown said this, a knock from the front door was heard.

"Big Brother. Someone's at the front door!" called Sally.

"Alright, Sally." Said Charlie Brown.

As Charlie Brown went to answer the front door, Sally walked up to Frieda.

"Another me?!" exclaimed Sally.

"No. It's me, Frieda! Your brother's dog styled my hair all wrong!"

"All wrong? I think it's cute." Smiled Sally. "Though I think you'd look cuter with a bow in that cluster."

Of course Sally only said this because that's her hairdo.

Charlie Brown answered the door. Upon opening the door, Charlie Brown blushed at who it was.

"H….. Heather!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

Then he thought….

"The Little Red-Haired Girl is paying a visit!"

"Hello Charlie Brown." Said Heather. "My dad's at work, and my mom's doing home duties, so I thought I'd come over and pay a visit."

"Be my guest." Smiled Charlie Brown as he, face still red, grabbed the left hand of the Little Red-Haired Girl, and escorted her into his household.

"What a gentleman." Thought Heather. "Selfless, determined and genteel."

Upon entering the Browns' place, Heather gasped at the sight of….

"Two Sallys?!" exclaimed Heather. "Charlie Brown! You didn't tell me you had two sisters! Is this why you like me? Because your other sister's hair is red like mine?"

"I'm not Charlie Brown's sister! I'm Frieda!" Frieda exclaimed.

"Frieda?!" Heather was confused.

Frieda explained to Heather all about what happened to her hair the other day.

"Oh! That's terrible!" Said Heather, feeling sad for Frieda.

"I'd go to the barber," said Frieda. "but they'd be crowded during these hot days, so I asked Snoopy to style my hair, since I want to take over Lucy's Psychiatric Booth while she's at Summer Camp."

Heather got an idea.

"I've got it, Frieda!" suggested Heather. "Ask Snoopy to style your hair like mine, and when you get home, decorate it with a cute bow like mine. I'll run the psychiatric booth until you're ready.

Heather finished, explaining the cute aquamarine bow she wore in her hair.

"That's….. not a bad idea." Said Frieda. "It may not be….. naturally curly, but it should do for a while."

Frieda brought Heather over to Snoopy, and asked him to style her hair again.

"But this time, style it like this Little Red-Haired Girl." Frieda demanded.

Snoopy was puzzled at first, but upon looking at Heather's hair, got the idea. Snoopy got out his hairdressing tools, and styled Frieda's hair once again.

"What do you think, Frieda?" smiled Heather.

Snoopy handed Frieda the mirror, and…

"Not bad!" said Frieda.

"We're like twins!" giggled Heather.

"I guess this will do for now." Said Frieda.

"Frieda, before you go home, a little reminder." Suggested Heather. "Don't colour your hair like mine. I don't want Charlie Brown to think you're me."

Of course Heather meant this because she loved Charlie Brown the same way Charlie Brown loved her.

"Very well, Heather." Said Frieda. "Can't wait to show my folks my…. Naturally styled hair."

While Frieda left for her household, Heather looked at Snoopy and got an idea. Then, she walked into the Brown House.

"Charlie Brown! Charlie Brown!" called Heather.

Charlie Brown walked over to Heather after she called out his name.

"Hey, Heather." Said Charlie Brown.

"You wouldn't mind if I borrowed Snoopy for a while, would you?" asked Heather.

"What for?" Charlie Brown asked.

"You are aware that Lucy is away at summer camp, right?" Heather asked.

"Yes." Replied Charlie Brown.

"I'm taking over her psychiatric booth." Heather decided.

"I thought Frieda was doing that." said Charlie Brown.

"I'm going to help her, Charlie Brown." Said Heather. "That's why I wanna bring Snoopy along. I have plans for him."

"I don't mind, Heather." Smiled Charlie Brown.

"Really? Thanks, Charlie Brown." Smiled Heather.

So that's what Heather did. She went to the backyard and called for Snoopy.

"Snoopy. Snoopy!" Heather called.

Snoopy heard the voice of the Little Red-Haired Girl, and got off his doghouse.

"Snoopy. I have a job for you. How would you….."

Heather whispered into Snoopy's ear. Snoopy was very interested.

"Would you like that, Snoopy?" Smiled Heather.

Snoopy cheered, packed his hairdressing tools, and went to Woodstock's nest.

"Er, Snoopy? The psychiatric booth is….. oh. I guess Charlie Brown's dog knows what he's doing." Heather sighed.

Once she arrived, Heather pondered at the booth.

"Since it's summer time….."

Heather plastered over the 5c sign, a little note saying 2c.

"There. 2 cents." Said Heather confidently. "The lower the price, the more patients Frieda and I will get."

Then Heather thought….

"I have a special treat for Charlie Brown the next time he comes here."

As soon as Heather had prepared, Frieda arrived, still with the same hairdo as Heather, and wearing in her hair a bow the same style as Heather's, only light purple.

"Oh! Hi, Frieda! Cute bow!" called Heather.

"Thanks, Heather." Said Frieda. "Now, are we….."

Frieda looked up at the sign, and read…..

"Two cents?" she exclaimed.

"It's summer, Frieda." Smiled Heather. "So we make discounts. The less our sessions cost, the more patients we get."

"Very clever, Heather." Smiled Frieda. "Anyway, let's get started."

"We have to wait on Snoopy, Frieda." Said Heather.

"A dog as well? A dog who should be chasing rabbits?" exclaimed Frieda, remembering the times she would tell Snoopy to chase rabbits.

"Why would you want Snoopy to chase rabbits?" asked Heather.

"Isn't that what beagles are bred to do?" asked Frieda.

"Er, Yes, Frieda, but Snoopy's no ordinary beagle." Answered Heather.

As Frieda sat in the chair, and Heather stood beside, Snoopy arrived with his hairdressing tools, with Woodstock on his head.

"Er…. What's with the hairdressing kit?" asked Frieda.

"I think I know." Said Heather. "He wants us to turn this psychiatric booth into a hairdressing studio. Charlie Brown's dad is a barber, that must be where Snoopy gets the idea."

Snoopy got out a chair for anyone who needs a haircut, and waited until someone needs a haircut.

Just as he'd finished setting up, Marcie and Peppermint Patty arrived.

"Er, Sir. What exactly are we doing here?" asked Marcie.

"Pipe down, Marcie." Said Peppermint Patty. "Did you see what Snoopy did there?"

"Sounds like he's turning this place into a barbershop, Sir." Suggested Marcie.

"Must be taking lessons from Chuck's dad." Said Peppermint Patty. "And look! It's 2 cents!"

Frieda saw Peppermint Patty and Marcie.

"How can I help you, ladies?" asked Frieda.

"I saw that you're giving away haircuts, so I would like one." Said Peppermint Patty confidently.

"Haircuts? But…. Your hair looks fine, Sir." Said Marcie.

"Sir?!" said Frieda, confused with the idea of calling a girl that title. "Now who in the right mind would call a girl Sir?"

"Oh, I just want my hair styled. I've got a baseball game coming up." Said Peppermint Patty.

"Step this way, Sir." Smiled Frieda.

"DON'T CALL ME SIR! Yelled Peppermint Patty, which was so loud, it blew Frieda away.

"Whoa, Sir! There was no need to yell!" cried Marcie.

"Marcie, you're the only one who can call me Sir." Explained Peppermint Patty. "That doesn't mean other people can call me Sir!"

"You're weird, Sir."

Heather walked up to Frieda, who was dazed and confused by Peppermint Patty's yell.

"Frieda, are you okay?" asked Heather.

"Yeah. I'm alright." Sighed Frieda.

"Alright, Frieda. Until you recover, I'll take care." Smiled Heather as she walked up to Peppermint Patty, and escorted her to the hairdressing chair, where Snoopy and Woodstock were waiting.

"Now you tell Snoopy what you want done with your hair." Said Heather.

"You have Snoopy working with you?" asked Peppermint Patty.

"He restyled Frieda's hair to look like mine. It's almost like we're twins!" smiled Heather.

"If you say so." Said Peppermint Patty.

Peppermint Patty looked at Heather, and thought for a minute.

"Snoopy. Will you style my hair like this Little Red-Haired Girl?" Peppermint Patty asked.

Snoopy was puzzled. There can't be three Heathers he thought.

"If there's any way to get Chuck to like me," thought Peppermint Patty. "then it's looking like that Little Red-Haired Girl."

So Snoopy set to work, styling Peppermint Patty's hair. Woodstock flew in to help out. Once Snoopy was done, he showed Peppermint Patty a mirror and…

"AAAAAUUUUGH!" screamed Peppermint Patty.

Snoopy had styled Peppermint Patty's hair not in Heather's style, but instead, Frieda's original….. naturally curly style.

"I WANTED MY HAIR LIKE HEATHER'S, NOT FRIEDA'S OLD STYLE!" Peppermint Patty yelled.

Marcie, who'd been watching, couldn't help but laugh.

"Peppermint Patty has naturally curly hair now?!" Marcie laughed.

Marcie thought this was so funny, she fell on the ground, laughing hysterically.

"Fine. This'll have to do for now. Two cents?" asked Peppermint Patty.

"No." said Frieda. "That's for psychiatry. Hairdressing is free."

This disappointed Snoopy.

"That's good. But can you style it again?" asked Peppermint Patty.

"Sorry, Sir." Said Frieda. "You can only have one haircut a day."

"Don't call me Sir." Said Peppermint Patty as she left to where Marcie was waiting for her.

"I don't mind your new hairdo, Sir. In fact, I think it's cute. Giggled Marcie.

"Cute? Cute?!" Peppermint Patty yelled, which simply sent Marcie flying back. "I'll have to come back tomorrow."

Frieda and Heather's next patient was Lucy's little brother and Sally's sweet babboo Linus.

"Hello, Linus." Said Frieda.

"Heather?!" Linus exclaimed.

"Hi Linus!" smiled Heather.

"Two Heathers?!" Linus was very confused.

"Actually, I'm Frieda." Frieda answered.

"Frieda and Heather?! What are you doing here?" asked Linus.

"While your sister is at camp," said Frieda. "I thought I'd take over Lucy's job."

"And I'm helping out." Smiled Heather.

"So Linus. What are you in for?" asked Frieda happily.

"It's Sally." Sighed Linus sadly.

"What about Sally?" asked Heather.

"She hasn't been paying me any visits lately." Linus began. "Even though I told her that I am her sweet babboo, she hasn't even paid any attention to me."

"Oh, Linus." Suggested Frieda. "If Sally's not paying any attention to you, then maybe you should spend some more time with someone else."

"Hmmm….." pondered Linus. "that's a good idea, Frieda."

Then Linus thought;

"Now's my chance to meet Janice."

Linus was about to leave when Frieda picked up the tin and shook it.

"Oh, Linus!" called Frieda.

Linus put his hand in his pocket, looking for five cents when….

"It's two cents, Linus." Explained Frieda. "It's summer, so therapy sessions cost less."

Linus found two cents instead, and put them in the tin.

"Ah. Love that sound." Sighed Frieda.

Linus made his way to the Emmons household, and knocked on the door. Who should open it but Janice.

"Linus! What a lovely surprise!" cried Janice.

"Hello, Janice." Said Linus. "Since Sally hasn't been paying attention to me lately, I thought I'd drop by for a visit."

"But….. I thought you were her sweet babboo." Puzzled Janice.

"I know, Janice. But thanks to Frieda and Heather….." Linus explained.

"Frieda? Heather?" Janice was confused.

"Frieda used to have naturally curly hair, but she somehow styled it to look like Heather's. And Heather, well….. she's that Little Red-Haired Girl Charlie Brown loves. Oh, and Snoopy's giving away free hairdressing. With their help, I decided to visit you." Linus finished.

"That's interesting to know." Smiled Janice. "And it's wonderful that my sweet babboo is coming to meet me."

"Hmm…" pondered Linus. "For now, I am your sweet babboo."

"Thanks for visiting me, Linus." Smiled Janice as she kissed Linus' cheek. Linus blushed at this.

"Wow!" thought Linus. "Heather and Frieda are much better psychiatrists than my sister!"

The next patient to visit the Psychiatric Booth was Schroeder.

"Oh. Hi, Schroeder." Said Frieda.

"Great to see you, Schroeder." Said Heather.

"Two Little Red-Haired Girls?!" exclaimed Schroeder.

"Actually, Schroeder. It's me, Frieda."

"Frieda?! But…. What happened to your naturally curly hair?!" Schroeder asked.

"I had a slip up and fell into the fountain, making my hair straight. So I asked Snoopy to style it like Heather's." explained Frieda.

"But…. Why are you two here?"

"Lucy's away at summer camp, and we're taking over while she's away." Frieda said.

"Lucy….. that's why I'm here." Said Schroeder. "Normally I get annoyed with Lucy resting at my piano, but now, I'm starting to feel….."

"Yes?" said Frieda.

"Alone." Schroeder finished.

"Oh, Schroeder. Don't fret." Smiled Frieda. "Maybe someone else will rest at your piano."

"Do you think it'll work?" asked Schroeder.

"Sure, Schroeder. Just you wait." Smirked Frieda.

"Alright." Said Schroeder. "Thanks for the advice."

Schroeder was about to go home when Frieda shook the tin.

"Oh, Schroeder!" called Frieda.

Schroeder read the sign and paid two cents.

"Ah. Lovely sound." Sighed Frieda.

"This job is such a breeze." Thought Heather.

The day was nearing its close, and both Frieda and Heather were counting the money they earned from the day's work.

"Fifty cents. Heather," said Frieda. "you get twenty, I get twenty, and Snoopy, you get ten."

Snoopy was happy. Frieda handed Snoopy the money, and Snoopy kissed her.

"Charlie Brown's dog sure has a habit of kissing, doesn't he?" thought Heather.

Snoopy packed all his hairdressing tools away, and jigged his way home.

The following day, Frieda was setting up the psychiatric booth, and was waiting on Heather, Snoopy and Woodstock.

"Where could they be?" wondered Frieda.

At last, Heather arrived with Snoopy and Woodstock.

"Sorry we're late, Frieda." Said Heather.

"That's alright, Heather." Said Frieda. "As long as we both have cute hairdos, we should get the job done in no time flat."

So Frieda and Heather set up the booth, and once they were ready, they waited on their first patient. Much to their surprise, their first patient was…..

"Charlie Brown?!" the two red-haired girls exclaimed.

Charlie Brown was surprised!

"What?! There can't be two Heathers!" cried Charlie Brown, and he spun round and around, and fell to the ground.

"Why me? Why does it always happen to me? I can't stand it!" Charlie Brown groaned.

"Charlie Brown! Charlie Brown! Are you okay?" asked Heather.

"Oh…" moaned Charlie Brown.

Both Frieda and Heather walked up to him, and were surprised to see him. Charlie Brown got up.

"Huh?! Heather and Heather?!" exclaimed Charlie Brown.

"Actually, I'm Frieda." Frieda explained.

"Frieda?! But….. but….." Charlie Brown stammered.

"I asked Snoopy to style my hair like Heather's. Pretty cute, isn't it, Charlie Brown?" asked Frieda.

"Yeah. I guess." Replied Charlie Brown.

"Don't worry, Charlie Brown. We'll soon put you right." Smiled Heather.

Just as they were about to put Charlie Brown right, clouds built up, and it started to rain.

"Oh great! It's raining!" groaned Frieda.

"Quick! To my place!" cried Charlie Brown.

Charlie Brown grabbed Heather's hand, and they both dashed off to the Brown residence.

"Wait! Don't leave without me!" begged Frieda. "Oh. I guess I'll have to run this place myself."

Because the rain was so heavy, Frieda looked up at her hair and…..

"My hair! It's not in Heather's style anymore! Oh, what a world!" groaned Frieda.

Snoopy looked at Frieda, and much to his surprise, her hair was broken again.

"Don't mind me, Beagle." Said Frieda sadly. "I guess a girl like me doesn't deserve a unique hairstyle."

Meanwhile, whilst leaving her own residence, Peppermint Patty, still with Frieda's style, felt the rain wetting her hair.

"My hair!" exclaimed Peppermint Patty.

Much to her delight, Peppermint Patty's hair was back to normal!

"Alright! My hair's back to normal!" cried Peppermint Patty.

Soon, the rain had stopped, and Frieda came to the Brown residence and knocked on the door. Charlie Brown opened it.

"Hello, Charlie Brown." Said Frieda.

"Frieda?!" exclaimed Charlie Brown. "W-what happened to your hair?"

"I just stood in the rain, and the rain broke my hair again." Sighed Frieda sadly.

"Not to worry, Frieda." Smiled Charlie Brown. "My dad's a barber."

Frieda went to the barbershop and much to her relief…..

"Ah. Nobody's waiting." Smiled Frieda. "I guess this is my lucky day."

Frieda was escorted to the chair, ready to get her hair styled.

"I'm a friend of your son, Mr. Brown. Would you mind styling my hair?" Frieda asked.

Mr. Brown agreed to do so.

"Thanks, Mr. Brown." Smiled Frieda.

Later, Heather was back at the psychiatric booth, waiting on some patients. Soon, Frieda came along. Much to Heather's surprise…..

"Frieda! Your hair! It's curly again!"

"Thanks, Heather." Smiled Frieda. "It feels so great to have naturally curly hair again!"

"Anyway, Frieda. Are you ready to start work?" asked Heather.

"No, Heather. You take the psychiatric booth." Said Frieda. "I'm quitting. I know just who else deserves my company."

Frieda skipped off in delight, happy that her hair was back to normal.

"I'm happy for you, Frieda!" Heather called out.

Meanwhile, over at Schroeder's house, Schroeder was playing his piano. Frieda came over, and rested.

"Frieda?!" exclaimed Schroeder.

"Hi, Schroeder." Smiled Frieda.

"How…..?" asked Schroeder.

"Charlie Brown's dad styled it." Said Frieda gleefully. "It feels so wonderful to have naturally curly hair again."

"Good for you, Frieda. Good for you." said Schroeder.

"While Lucy's away, you wouldn't mind me…" Frieda began.

"Yes I would mind you." sighed Schroeder.

"Come on, Schroeder!" swooned Frieda.

Frieda got on the piano, and puckered up. Schroeder looked up, and Frieda kissed him on the nose. Schroeder fidgeted in disgust.

"You like that, Schroeder?" asked Frieda sweetly.

"Ugh!" groaned Schroeder as he ran off to get something to clean himself with. Frieda simply shrugged and walked out of Schroeder's house.

Charlie Brown came to the psychiatric booth, and much to his surprise…..

"Heather?!" Charlie Brown exclaimed.

"Oh. Hi, Charlie Brown!" said Heather gleefully.

"Where's Frieda?" asked Charlie Brown.

"She left the psychiatric booth to me." said Heather. "She was so delighted to have naturally curly hair again, she decided to quit."

"Oh, good grief." Sighed Charlie Brown. "Now she will never let us hear the last of it!"

"Not to worry, Charlie Brown." Smiled Heather. "Do you need a haircut? Your dog is giving away free haircuts."

"Nothing like that, Heather." Said Charlie Brown, noticing his seemingly bald head. "I don't have much hair to cut anyway."

"So, what do you want?" asked Heather.

"Heather. I need your help. I need help to become a better football person. Every time Lucy holds the football for me, she always pulls it away from me, and I land on my back. She even did that while you went to summer camp." Charlie Brown explained.

"I know, Charlie Brown." Said Heather. "I saw her do that at a homecoming football game. Now that Lucy's away at camp, I'll hold it for you."

Heather could well remember the time she watched a homecoming football game on TV, with the homecoming queen being another red-haired girl named Heather.

So Heather found a football, held it, and Charlie Brown ran back as fast as he could.

"I'm gonna do it this time! I'm gonna kick the ball to the moon." Said Charlie Brown .

Charlie Brown ran as fast as he could towards the football. Heather still held onto the ball. But unlike what Lucy usually does, Heather took her hand off the ball, and Charlie Brown kicked the football his hardest, and it flew further and further and further.

"I did it! I did it! I finally did it! I kicked the football!" cheered Charlie Brown.

Heather got up, and hugged Charlie Brown.

"Great work, Charlie Brown!" cheered Heather as she hugged him. "You kicked the ball as far as possible! See. I kept my promise!"

Heather then kissed Charlie Brown's cheek. Charlie Brown started to blush.

"Glad I could help you."

Charlie Brown went to the booth to pay.

"Oh, Charlie Brown. You don't have to pay." Said Heather.

"But….." Charlie Brown began.

"There are no buts, Charlie Brown." Smiled Heather. "Only the other patients have to pay. My sweet babboo gets psychiatry for free."

"Sweet babboo?" exclaimed Charlie Brown.

"You're my sweet babboo, Charlie Brown. I learned that from you and your sister." Heather said, remembering the winter dance where Sally called Linus "Sweet Babboo", and Charlie Brown calling himself that at a more recent dance.

"Oh….." Charlie Brown stammered. "Thanks….."

Charlie Brown then thought;

"She called me her sweet babboo."

"Anyway, Charlie Brown." Said Heather. "It was nice to help build your confidence again."

Heather gave Charlie Brown another kiss on the cheek. And Charlie Brown blushed even redder than Heather's hair. Charlie Brown sighed dreamily. The girl of his dreams built his confidence again, and he finally got his chance to kick the football.

Frieda skipped along, still happy about her hair being curly again. She stopped by at the Psychiatric Booth where Heather sat.

"Hi, Heather!" called Frieda.

"Hello, Frieda." Said Heather.

Frieda turned to Charlie Brown, who just stood there, cheeks still red from Heather's kiss, and still happy his confidence had been built up.

"Did he pay you?" Frieda asked.

"No." said Heather. "I give free sessions to my sweet babboo."

"Sweet Babboo?" Frieda was puzzled.

"Oh." Heather explained. "His sister uses that for Linus, so why can't I use it for him?"

Now, what about Linus? Well…..

Linus was at the local park with Janice. He was still disappointed that Sally hadn't come to visit him.

"It's so wonderful that you're taking me out, Linus." Said Janice sweetly.

But just as she said this, Sally, surprised to see Linus and Janice together, called out.

"What's going on here?!" yelled Sally.

This caused Linus and Janice to jump up and land on the ground.

"Sally?!" exclaimed Janice.

"Janice! What are you doing with my boyfriend?" Sally demanded.

"Linus decided to take me here. There's a swing set, and he wants to give me a push!" Janice explained.

"And I'm not your boyfriend." Said Linus sternly.

"Yes you are!" demanded Sally.

"Not anymore he's not!" smirked Janice.

"I'm sorry, Sally." Said Linus. "Because you haven't come to visit me lately, I can't return your feelings anymore. I only have room in my heart for Janice. Don't get all upset, Sally. One day, you'll find your true sweet babboo."

"I guess you're right, Linus." Sighed Sally. "Hmm…. Maybe I'll see that Harold Angel again….."

Frieda decided to go back to Schroeder's house, and much to her surprise, there, resting at the end of Schroeder's piano, was Violet.

"What are you doing here?!" exclaimed Frieda.

"I like Beethoven, and Schroeder plays Beethoven very beautiful." Said Violet.

"Suit yourself, Violet." Said Frieda. "Now that I've got naturally curly hair again, I'm happy again!"

"Do you know what will happen if I turn around and gave Schroeder a big kiss?" Violet asked.

"Only one way to find out." Said Frieda.

Violet closed her eyes, and was just about to kiss Schroeder. Schroeder walked away. Frieda knew just what to do about it. Unbeknownst to Violet, Frieda had brought her cat Faron over. She placed Faron on the piano, and had him face Violet. Violet just kissed Faron. Upon opening her eyes, Violet looked at Faron and…..

"AAUGH! I've kissed a cat!" Violet screamed.

Violet ran out of Schroeder's house, disgusted that she'd kissed a cat. Frieda petted Faron, thanking him for the great job he did.

"Thanks, Faron. Good cat. Now Schroeder can enjoy my naturally curly hair alone." Smiled Frieda.

Later, Heather closed the psychiatric booth for the day, and went with Charlie Brown to the park. Much to Charlie Brown's surprise, there, on the bench, were Linus and Janice.

"Linus? Janice? But….. but….." Charlie Brown stammered.

"I thought you were Sally's sweet babboo!" said Heather.

"Not anymore." Said Linus. "I've realised that because Sally wouldn't come visit me this summer, there's only room in my heart for Janice."

"Good grief!" sighed Charlie Brown.

So Charlie Brown and Heather went to a tree to sit down. Normally, Charlie Brown would share the spot with Peppermint Patty, but because Heather was with him, she took Peppermint Patty's spot.

"You know, Charlie Brown." Smiled Heather. "I really enjoy being a psychiatrist. And I really enjoy spending time with you."

Heather crawled up carefully to Charlie Brown gave him yet another kiss. This time, on his right cheek. Upon feeling it, Charlie Brown blushed redder than Heather's hair.

"Oh, Heather…." Smiled Charlie Brown, red in the face from Heather's kiss. "That was so sweet. You really helped me today. The best part of it all was….."

"Yes?"

"You let me kick the football! Thanks for letting me do that, Heather." Said Charlie Brown.

"Anything for my sweet babboo." Smiled Heather. "Now I wonder where that football went off to?"

Lucy was about to eat her lunch at camp when suddenly, a football landed in her dish, and covered her completely in the food.

"AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUGH!" screamed Lucy.

That's teaching her, isn't it?
