Chapter 1
Okay, context here. My name is Jeremy Kort, I lived in Indiana with my roommates Alex, Taylor, and Trevor.
And I think I died.
Well, I don't know exactly if that's what happened. As far as I remember, I was having a normal day, and then I woke up in a body that wasn't my own. Specifically in the body of a four year old named Yatsunori Zurasame (pronounced 'Surasami'). Really glad I didn't wake up in this body any younger. Would be embarrassing to have to whine for breast milk. Whatever god-like entity decided to make me reawaken while the new body was four, thank you. Unlike my normal appearance, I had dark silver hair, matching my new mother Suri, and blue eyes from my new father, Johnson, who apparently was from England. Obviously, I slightly panicked, waking up in a body not your own will do that, but my new parents were downstairs, so I didn't alert them. Then they came upstairs and asked me if I was ready to find out if I had a quirk.
That's when I learned I was apparently in the My Hero Academia world! While it wasn't my favorite anime (Fate Stay Night got that title), it certainly is amongst my top five. Watched the whole show multiple times, though I only vaguely know what happens past that in the manga. Obviously, I had to act like an excited four year old. Which helped because I was certainly excited.
The doctor said that I indeed had a quirk, and that I just simply hadn't discovered what it could be. Upon spending a week testing things, I learned I could construct things with my mind, like Green Lantern. Though, they were red, so more like the Red Lanterns. It was an offshoot of my father's, who could create sugar at the cost of making him more sluggish, almost like Sato's, just less dumb and more sloth. A week later, I was rushed to the hospital. Turns out summoning constructs involves messes with my blood sugar levels, so I need to have vials of insulin, and a few sweets, on me at almost all times.. Honestly, I felt like it was a sick joke, because my sister in my previous life had type 2 diabetes.
Now, ten years later, I'm walking through Musutafu, heading towards Tatooin station. I was wearing my Aldera Junior High school uniform. The fact that I lived in the same city, and went to the same school as Midoriya and Bakugo is, once again, convenient as hell. Speaking of which…
"Come on, Yatski!" Izuku Midoriya exclaimed his nickname for me as he went through the crowd, "We need to get a better view."
"I'm coming, hold your horses, Midoriya." I exclaimed, trying to squeeze through the people. This was the day Kamui Woods would face off against…honestly, I couldn't remember the giant villain's name, but it was also Mount Lady's debut. I was now properly in the events of the show. I was several inches above Midoriya, about six feet tall. Not exactly sure about Class 1a's heights, but I think that would make me about Idia's height. We squeezed through, seeing the heroes fighting against the villain. Since I knew the outcome, I only haphazardly paid attention. As this happened, Midoriya was jotting down in his journal containing notes on every hero he knew about.
"Ha," a man with pointed stars on the side and top of his head, "One look at you and I can clearly tell…You two are fanboys."
"Heh," I replied, "More like my friend here. Has notes on almost every hero imaginable."
"Right!"
Kamui Wood landed on the train, and prepared his special move. I then remembered how this fight ended, and turned my head around. Midoriya noticed my shift.
"What are you looking at?"
Midoriya turned, then turned white at the sight.
"Um, do you think she can safely cross?"
"Who are you~" The man questioned, turning at the same time. We all saw Mount Lady jump into the air, flying over us, as she drop-kicked the villain onto the empty street. Midoriya and the stranger both were slack jawed at the sudden appearance.
"Well," I stated, "Good thing she kicked him to a spot without other people. Midoriya, who is she?"
Midoriya quickly flipped through his notebook. "I don't know! I don't have a page on her anywhere here!"
"That must mean she's a new hero. *Giggling* Better make a new page."
Before I even finished saying that, he was writing down her name and possible quirk on a page. I shook my head. Classic Midoriya.
"Hey, fanboy. You taking notes over there? Want to be a hero, too?"
Midoriya turned to the man, a huge smile on his face. "Yes! More than anything!"
I back-slapped his arm. "Hah! More than that, we're going to make him the first great quirkless hero!"
"Quirkless?"
"Yep. He's gonna show the world that you don't need a quirk to be a hero."
Midoriya's face blushed. "Please cut it out, you're embarrassing me."
The man gave a thumbs up. "That's a pretty ambitious goal, but your friend believes in you, so good luck. You should always have at least one person who believes in you, kid."
"Thanks!"
I fondly remembered the day I first 'met' Midoriya.
Flashback
I sat in my mom's car as we drove through the neighborhood, heading home. We had just gotten back from the comic book store, and I had ordered even more comics. Strangely enough, Marvel didn't exist, but DC comics did. I specifically got Batman and Green Arrow comics today because this would be the day Izuku would come home after finding out he didn't have a quirk. How I knew this, I honestly couldn't tell. For the past few months, there was this feeling in the back of my head that was growing more and more intense. Given the age Izuku was, I could only conclude that it was a mental countdown to that day. It had holes in the logic, but it was the best I could understand about it.
As we neared the apartments were the Midoriyas lived in, I quickly called to my new mom.
"Wait! I want to show Izu my new comics!"
My mom simply smiled, "All right, sweetie, but not too long. Your father is cooking dinner tonight."
She pulled into the parking lot, and we walked up to their apartment, the comics in my hands. While me and Midoriya were friendly with each other, since Izuku usually hung out with Bakugou, we weren't really friends, just friendly acquaintances. When she rang the bell, Izuku's mom Inko Midoriya answered.
"Yes?" Inko said, almost dejectedly, "Oh, Suri. I didn't expect to see you today."
"Yes, well, Yatsunori got some new comics that he wanted to show Izuku."
"Well, I'm not sure that's a good idea. He's not feeling well."
'Yeah, for good reason.' "Don't worry," I said, squeezing past them, "Comics about heroes will cheer him up."
"Wait!" Inko tried to stop me, but I was already past her.
"Yatsunori, wait!" Suri also called out. I quickly found Midoriya, looking at the All Might video.
'Time to begin the changes.' Yatsunori ran to Izuku, then saw tears running down his face.
"Izuku, what's wrong."
He didn't hear it, but Inko explained to Suri what happened regarding Izuku's being quirkless.
"I'm quirkless." Izuku sobbed.
"So?" My reply shocked both Inko and Suri.
"Without a quirk, I~" I slapped the Batman comic on his legs, which shocked him.
"Izuku, do you know who he is?"
Izuku looked at the title. "Batman?"
"He is a hero from before quirks were a thing. He fought villains so strong that they would give All Might a hard time. And he would win."
Izuku's back straightened in shock.
"More than that, he is part of a team of other heroes, many of them having quirks, and is one of their best members."
"What can the other heroes do?"
"One can run so fast he can save an entire city in the blink of an eye. Another is an alien that can shapeshift into anyone or anything. Another is part god. Another is ruler of all the oceans."
As I continued listing off Justice League members, Izuku looked wide eyed, not believing that a simple man could stand toe-to-toe with such powerful teammates. I placed the Green Arrow comic, saying the same thing. No quirk, yet a powerful hero.
"How are they that good?" He finally asked.
"Because they trained! They trained hard, for years. So you do not have a quirk. So what?! It just means you have to train even harder to get there. Everyone thinks that you need a quirk to be a great hero, well," I slammed my hands on the comics, "Tell that to these two!"
Izuku held the Batman comic, looking at him with tears in his eyes. He then turned the chair to his mother, my own mother having tears in her eyes. I could tell that she looked proud of what I said.
"Mom," Izuku cried, holding the comic to her, "Could I be a great hero like they are?"
Inko, tears in her eyes now, walked to her son and hugged him. "If Yatsunori says you can, then I can too." My own mother hugged me too, telling me how proud she was.
While before, I was only on a friendly acquaintance base with Midoriya, this was the start of a proper friendship.
Present Day, Aldera Junior High
"So," Mr. Ogrunu, our home room teacher exclaimed, "As third year students, it's time to start thinking seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives."
I sat two desks in front of Midoriya, so I gave him a smirking glance, seeing that he was still jotting down in his notebook. He gave me a reassuring smirk in response.
"I could pass out some career aptitude tests, but," Ogrunu grabbed the test papers, "Why bother?" Several of the other students started to slowly bring out their quirks, almost anticipating his words.
Mr Ogrunu tossed the papers into the air. "I know you all want to go to the hero track!"
The students cheered, flexing their quirks to prove his point.
"Yes, yes, you've got some very impressive quirks, but no power usage allowed in school, so get ahold of yourselves."
"Hey, teach," a very familiar bully exclaimed, "Don't lump me and Zurasame in with this bunch of losers. I'm the real deal, but these guys will be lucky to end up as sidekicks to a busted D-lister." Bakugou chuckled. The rest of our class started yelling at him, to which he just simply taunted them.
"Oh?" I exclaimed, "And you just happened to forget me, Bakugou."
"Hah! As if! You'll be a sidekick to an A-tier, no doubt. Maybe be an A-tier hero, but you've never beaten me, so don't get your hopes up."
It was true. Of all the fights I had gotten with Bakugou, I had not beaten him once. His quirk was just that powerful. He'd get a reality check once Todoroki came into the picture. "And yet," I formed a construct circle around my back wrist, "You've never broken through my constructs."
"Hmm," Mr. Ogrunu looked at a notepad, flipping through several pages, "You and Zurasame both have impressive test scores, so it's not impossible for you to get into U.A."
Our classmates were shocked that we were gunning for U.A..
"Are you truly surprised," I retorted, "Bakugou aims for the top, and I simply keep his ego in check."
Bakugou's eyes twitched, standing on his desk as his palms started smoking. "You wanna go again, Zurasame?! I aced all the mock tests!"
I summoned another wrist shield, but made no move to stand. "As have I! If you wanna, I've been wanting to test a new move out, so bring it!"
"Bakugou, Zurasame! Both of you, settle down, now!"
Bakugou palms became less smoky, but didn't stop, so I dissipated one of my constructs, disappearing in red mist.
"Midoriya," Mr. Ogrunu said, looking at what I assumed to be Midoriya's test scores, "You also want to go to U.A., is that right?"
Bakugou twitched in shock, while Midoriya sank his head down in embarrassment. The rest of the class turned to him, then began laughing.
"Midoriya?"
"Still have hopes, huh?!"
"You'll never get into the hero course without a quirk."
Midoriya stood up. "Hold on, they got rid of that rule, so I could end up being the first one."
I instinctively prepared to block Bakugou's retaliation, but, surprisingly, he simply stared venomously at Midoriya. He sat back down, but the venom on Midoriya didn't fade.
Class continued as normal once the laughter at Midoriya died down. Eventually, the school day ended, so I left to collect my stuff. However, I stopped and 'hid' myself at the classroom exit. I remembered what Bakugou said to Midoriya in the anime, so I was prepared to slap that bastard out the window. Honestly one of the worst things Bakugou ever said, and it never got brought up after this? Well, he won't get away with saying it here.
Midoriya got his belongings, looking through the local news on his phone. Putting it away, he was about to put his hero journal in his backpack when Bakugou slammed a hand down on the desk, causing Midoriya to drop it. He gave Midoriya a judgemental look.
"I don't know what you think you're doing, Deku, but we aren't done."
Bakugou's cronies followed him.
"Still clinging to Zurasame, aren't you?"
"Don't know what that idiot thinks he's doing, helping a loser like you."
"Kacchan," Midoriya nervously exclaimed, "What do you want?"
Bakugou yanked Midoriya up. "Most first rate heroes show potential early on. People look at them and just know they're destined for greatness."
"Okay…" Midoriya nervously replied. What was Bakugou getting at?
"More than that, every great hero needs a hero rival. All Might has Endeavor, and I have Zurasame. He's wasting his time trying to help a worthless loser like you, Deku. However," Bakugou placed a hand on Midoriya's shoulder, his fingertips starting to smoke, "You failing to get into U.A. will only embarrass Zurasame. And if you embarrass him, you embarrass me. And if you embarrass me…You're dead. So I say you don't apply for U.A., or any hero school."
Midoriya gulped, a bead of sweat coming off his head. I merely narrowed my eyes at Bakugou's words. This was the relationship I had with Bakugou. He wasn't as egocentric as his canon self. He had no one to check against him in canon, to prove him wrong. That's where I came in. Got into many fights, always out of school, but I always had Bakugou looking over his shoulder, making sure that I wasn't about to pass him. He certainly was still prideful and arrogant, but it wasn't to such an unhealthy degree anymore. I decided it was time to move.
"Midoriya," I called out, moving into view, "Come on."
That seemed to shake Midoriya out of his fear, as he quickly got his stuff and approached.
"Sorry, I got held up."
"It's no problem. Let's go." I gave Bakugou a passing glance before walking down the hall.
"Dude," one of Bakugou's cronies inquired, "Why'd you say that stuff? It almost sounds like you respect Zurasame."
In response, Bakugou causes mini explosions on his fingertips, making the crony back a step.
"When people see that me and Zurasame are the only people to get in from this garbage school, they'll know we're the real deal. I'm not going to let Deku make a fool out of him. He'd best understand that he'll never be a hero, so he shouldn't drag his idiot friend down with him."
"So you do respect him."
Said crony got a facefull of smoke after that.
As Midoriya and I left the school, I brought out my phone, hitting the notepad app. It was a training schedule.
"Alright, Midoriya, we've got one year left. Now is the time to really kick things into gear. Should we go over your blueprints, or just go straight into the workout?"
We had been doing physical workout for the past year. Not as much training as All Might did for Midoriya after he got One for All, so he wasn't as buff as his canon self, but he certainly wasn't thin. When he didn't respond, I turned, and saw him looking down.
"Yatski," Midoriya said softly, "Do…do you think I should apply for U.A.?"
"What kind of question is that, Midoriya?"
"Well, if I fail, it'll only make you look bad."
"I don't care much about looking bad, it only matters if I do bad."
"That…was a weird way to word it."
"Yeah," I rubbed the back of my head, "Probably could've said something less corny."
That gave Midoriya and I a short chuckle.
"But, seriously Midoriya, I'm not an easy one to unnerve. I mean, I get into fights with Bakugou all the time."
"Yeah, but~"
"Midoriya, let me keep it simple. Do you think I can become a great hero?"
"Yes, of course you can! You and Kacchan have such amazing quirks!"
"Then, even if you don't believe in yourself, believe in me. And know that I believe in you."
Wasn't entirely word for word, but Gurren Lagann unfortunately doesn't exist in this word.
That seemed to cheer Midoriya up, who only gave his trademark tears and smile.
"Now, about my question?"
Midoriya wiped away the tears. "Let's do the exercise first. We'll see the schematics back home."
"Alright. Let's go!"
So we began our bi-daily jog. After a couple hours, we would have approached our neighborhood, but I told Midoriya that, since this was our last year, he needed more exercise, so we took a much longer route…Straight towards a familiar overpass. As we got halfway, I told Midoriya that we would take a break. We sat at opposite walls as I took two water bottles from my backpack, and tossed one to him. I kept on the news feed, so I knew the villain was around. I had to keep us here, long enough for the sludge villain to attack, so that All Might will show up.
"So, how're you feeling?"
"Like," Midoriya wheezed, "Like this is way too much."
"Oh, come on, we've done this kind of training for the past year. Don't tell me it's getting too hard now, when we're nearly at the home stretch."
"Yeah…"
"Hey, any updates on the blueprints?"
Midoriya shook his head. "No. Now the real problem will be getting a scientist or engineer to actually do it."
"Yeah, cybernetics won't be easy. I know our parents have been saving up money, but we'd only get the bare minimum for it to be working. They'll barely be able to help you for the practical."
Midoriya looked saddened at my statement, but not surprised.
"But," I continued, "We knew that going in. It doesn't matter how flimsy the ground is, all we need to do is get our feet off it."
Midoriya nodded, then we heard the sound of metal being bonked. Turning, we saw a sewer grate slightly move…then sludge beginning to worm out from beneath it. The sludge villain had arrived.
"Midoriya," I calmly, but also semi-fake nervously said, "Maybe we should move."
"Y-yeah," Midoriya stuttered as the two of us started backing up, not picking up our backpacks, "G-good idea~"
Massive amount of sludge surged from the sewer grate, briefly lifting it in the air before it dropped back in place. From the mass of sludge, a pair of eyes and teeth came forth. Midoriya gulped in fear, while I had a cold sweat going on.
"A villain?" Midoriya exclaimed.
"Ah," said villain exclaimed, "A couple of perfect skin suits. Unfortunately, I only need one of you, and the other one will blow my cover, so…"
The villain lunged at us, so I stepped to Midoriya, then used my quirk to create a bubble around us. The villain crashed against us, causing the ball to roll upside down as it surrounded us on all sides. The ball was small enough that I could practically stand upside in it, but any serious movement might cause the construct to deform.
"Oh, come on! Don't be like that! I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to make you sleep for awhile."
"Ahhhh!" Midoriya cried out as he rolled in the bubble, luckily missing my limbs. The entire area was pitch black, only getting briefly light past the sludge.
"Midoriya, don't move! I need to keep the construct in place."
"Yatski, what do we do?"
"Well, I'm pretty sure this can hold him? Only issue now is air. I think we got maybe…"
"I don't want to know!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"Okay. Honestly, I think we have another problem. How long can I hold this position before I start to become light-headed?"
"Oh," the villain exclaimed, "Well, in that case, I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving. I can't afford to wait~"
I heard the sewer grate explode upward (downward?), and Midoriya jumped in fright.
"What was that?" Midoriya cried out. The sludge villain turned his eyes, and gasped in shock, accidentally leaving a gap for us to see who it was. Midoriya was in shock, while I mentally smirked.
"Have no fear," All Might declared, "You are safe. Now that I am here!"
The sludge villain tried attacking, but All Might dodged to the side. When he tried again, All Might clenched a fist.
"Texas SMASH!" All Might punched, the shockwave sending the villain back and breaking him apart. Unfortunately, it also sent the ball we were in tumbling, and Midoriya knocked one of my limbs, causing me to lose concentration. The sphere dissipated, and we both tumbled across the pavement. I hit my head against the pavement hard, causing me to black out.
I felt something rapidly tapping my face.
"Hey!" A voice called out distantly, "Wake up! Hey!"
I shook my head, opening my eyes.
"Oh, good," the voice, revealed to be All Might, gladly said, "Thought we lost you there."
I rubbed my sore head as I stood up. Midoriya ran to me, his eyes in complete shock.
"Midoriya," I said dully, "I may have hit my head too hard, because I'm hallucinating All Might."
All Might laughed boisterously, while Midoriya replied. "No, it's really him! He even signed my Hero Journal." To prove his point, Midoriya opened his journal, to a signed autograph of 'ALL MIGHT' across two pages. I opened my eyes in mock shock.
"Sorry about that, there," All Might apologized, "I didn't mean for you to get caught up in my justicing. Usually I'm pretty careful not to get bystanders involved, but this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate. Hahaha! Anyway, you two were a great help," All Might held up two bottles of Torrent, the sludge villain contained in them, "Thanks to you, I've captured the evildoer!"
Ok, the anime did not do All Might justice, as his form was both inspiring…and downright terrifying! Or maybe it was simply because I was seeing it in person as opposed to behind a screen. All Might put the villain in his pockets, tapping them lightly.
"Welp, I've got to get this guy to the police so they can take care of him. Stay out of trouble. See you around."
'Wait,' I thought, 'Wasn't something supposed to happen.'
"I feel like something's missing." I mumbled, but Midoriya heard me.
"What do you mean?"
"Pro heroes," All Might declared as he stretched, "Are always fighting time as well as enemies."
'Wait, Midoriya isn't insisting on talking with All Might, which means he won't grab him, which means the bottles won't fall out. And if they don't, then who knows what could possibly go wrong. After all, with how much I've already changed, who knows if Midoriya would even accept One for All?!'
"Wait a minute~"
"Now, stand back. I'm taking off," All Might leapt into the air, "THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!"
All Might felt a little heavier than expected. When he turned back, he gasped, seeing me holding onto his leg.
'Jeez! How did Midoriya hold onto this man's leg? I know death can give one hell of an adrenaline rush, but this is stretching the limits!'
"Hey hey hey, what are you doing?!" All Might tried to get me off his leg, "Let go! I love my fans, but this is too much!"
"How am I supposed to land?! I can't fly?!"
All Might stopped at my words. "Oh, good point."
"I'm sorry," I exclaimed, wind blasting my face, "But there's a question I need to ask you concerning a dear friend of mine! Sorry!"
"Okay, okay, just close your mouth and eyes before the wind hurts them."
I lowered my head into his leg, blocking the wind. All Might then adjusted his 'flight' path to land on a building. After landing, I got off and rubbed my sore arms.
"That was a very reckless move," All Might scolded, "Bang on the door for a while, and someone will let you in. Now, I have to go," All Might wave to me, "See you on the flip side."
I briefly looked at All Might's pockets. Good, the sludge villain wasn't there anymore. It still didn't guarantee that Bakugou would end up finding it, but I had to try. Selfish as it may seem to risk more people, but, the more of the timeline I can preserve, the more I can plan around what to do. Now, I just All Might's attention on me.
"Wait~"
"Sorry, I don't have any time."
"Is it possible for someone without a quirk to become a hero?!"
All Might stopped at the roof's railings. 'Nailed it,' I thought, 'Now keep him here until his form dissipates.'
"My friend, the one you saw with me. He doesn't have a quirk, yet he has more determination to be a hero than anyone I've met who has a quirk. Is it possible for him to become a great hero, just like you?"
All Might turned his head to look at me. "Without a quirk?" Then All Might doubled forward in pain. I closed my eyes to make it believable that I didn't see what was happening to him while I talked.
"Everyone in our class calls him a weakling, and me an idiot for helping him. However, if I simply stood by without even trying, then what would that say about me. More importantly, he wants to be a hero more than anything else in the world. He believes saving people is the coolest thing you can do. While I don't agree with that, I understand what he's getting at. He wants to save people with a smile on his face," I opened my eyes, "Just like you?"
From the smoke I saw Skinny Might. I feigned shock and horror.
"What the hell? All Might?"
"Yeah," All Might said dejectedly, "It's me~Pluhg!" Blood came out of his mouth, which, seeing it in person, made me a little squeamish.
"Don't tell me that sludge villain actually hurt you?!"
"No no. You know how guys at the pool suck in their guts, flexing to try to look buff? Well, that's what I can do."
"But, what are the restrictions? There has to be, otherwise you wouldn't have transformed back? Is it a time limit? No, that can't be it, some interviews you were in lasted for hours, so~"
"You're closer than you think. To correct you, I make sure any interviews I'm in only last for two hours, at most."
"Wait, so you can only hold your form for two hours? No, that doesn't make sense either. Your battle against Toxic Chainsaw five years ago lasted five hours."
"You know your stuff. But that does relate to why I have a time limit. Not the fight, but the five years ago," Skinny Might sat down against the railing, "I'm trusting you to keep this a secret. Don't go bragging online, or telling your friends," Skinny Might lifted his shirt, revealing the gruesome wound left by All for One. Again, the anime did not do the wound justice, as I took a step back. "Pretty gross, huh. I got this in a big fight five years back. It wasn't against Chainsaw, but against someone far worse. My respiratory system got completely destroyed. Lost my whole stomach, and the amount of surgeries have basically worn me out. Right now I can only do three hours of hero work each day. I'm like this for the rest of it."
"Someone even worse than Chainsaw? How was this fight hidden? Someone of that level, it'd be like trying to hide a hurricane!"
"It helped that most of the world never heard of this villain, and it's someone I'd like the world to forget."
I sighed, 'If only you knew.' "I get it. If even a single mark is placed on the Symbol of Peace, it can make people fear their lives infinitely more."
"Yeah, you get it. I have to be the fearless guy who's always smiling," Skinny Might brought up his hand, "But, in truth, I smile to hide the fear. A brave face to put on when the pressure is high. This job isn't easy," he looked at me with a solemn, but stern face, "Pro heroes are always risking their lives. Some villains just can't be beaten without powers. So, no, I don't think your friend can become a hero without a quirk."
My eyes faked shock. However, they soon took a more aggressive look.
"I see…"
Skinny Might stood up, "If your friend wants to help~"
"You truly are the Symbol of Peace."
Skinny Might was confused by my words. "What do you mean?"
"Peace, in my opinion, is simply the maintaining of the status quo. And, in our current society, quirkless people are looked down upon. They are mocked, shunned. The current status quo. Well, I refuse to let that happen. Come hell or high water, I'm getting Izuku Midoriya to the top ten of the Hero Charts," I walked to the rooftop entrance, "And when we do, we'll be showing everyone in the world that you don't need a quirk to be a hero. Goodbye, All Might." I said the last words with venom, slamming the door shut. As I walked down the stairs, I gave a devilish smirk that would make villains proud. If I didn't have All Might's attention before, now it would be hard pressed to say I wasn't in his thoughts.
I know that taking One for All is beyond dangerous. Not only does it come packaged with one of the most dangerous villains as a rival, but, since I have a quirk already, I'd be on a time limit for how long I could live. However, that was the price I'd be willing to pay for all the deaths and suffering that would occur.
Sir Nighteye, Ms. Midnight, Star and Stripes, and god knows how many others would be killed. Whatever it costs me, I will do what I can to prevent their deaths. As I reached the bottom, I exited the building, heading in the direction that the sludge villain would reappear.
"Alright," I mumbled to myself, "Time to help Midoriya save Bakugou."
Author's Notes: This story is HEAVILY inspired by PhantomFox19's 'My Hero Academia Remastered' fic on AO3. I'd recommend taking a look at that story.
Overall, I hope this story can capture your attention, but also don't be surprised if, like many SI that also have a harem, that the character ends up going down a power trip. I'll try not to write him like that, but if the story ends up going down that route, that's just how it is.
Current girls in the harem include: Mina Ashido, [REDACTED, Not Class 1-A]
Also, here's a chance to slightly influence the story, as I have a new poll to vote on. Which of the two girls will be involved in the harem. Will close it after the third chapter of this story is released, so vote quickly.
