It was a beautiful morning when Frank decided to go hiking in the woods until he met Betty there.
"Hi, Frank!" Betty yelled joyfully.
"Hi, Betty." Frank answered nonchalantly, and then asked her why she was hiking since she could be in serious danger.
Betty replied, "I felt like hiking since it's such a nice day, and besides, I have no worries when I see you because that way I know you'll save me if there's trouble."
Frank calmly stated, "I'm not always going to be there for you every time something bad happens to you.
You have to understand that and take care of yourself once in a while."
Betty spoke, "I understand, Frank, and don't worry about me; I took self-defense classes when I was young.
You looked like you wanted to tell me something, something important."
Frank uttered, "Betty, there's something I need to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Betty, I really love you!"
The girl was stunned.
She couldn't believe her ears.
Then Betty asked, "Do you really mean it, Frank?
Do you really love me, because I've always loved you!"
