After the brief encounter with Lisia, Ash, Brock and Rudy entered the Dragon's Den, where Misty was awaiting her friends from Pallet Town and Pewter City. However, the womanizer from Trovita Island was planning to seduce her before Ash could.

'It's so dark in this cave! I can't see anything!' Ash said.

'I know what to do!' Rudy said. Then, he released his Starmie from his Poké Ball.

'STAR!'

'Starmie, use your Flash!' Rudy said. Light emerged from his Pokémon's red gem.

Then, Rudy got a sneaky idea. Starmie jumped in the water next to the footpath and Rudy hopped on his Pokémon's body like a surfer. 'Starmie, go forward. Let's reach Misty before those two bastards from Kanto get to her!'

'Rudy, wait!' Ash begged.

'So long, suckers!' Rudy sneered.

When Rudy was out of sight, a waterfall of tears emerged from Ash's eyes.

'What's wrong, Ash?' Brock asked. 'I don't think Misty likes him!'

'But what if she does?' Ash cried.

Meanwhile, in the depths of the cave, Misty held a Lure Ball in her hands. She and her Corsola cheered. 'Yes, I caught a Dratini!'

'Corsola!' her pink Pokémon squealed.

Then, Misty suddenly saw a blinding light and closed her eyes. When she opened those again, she saw a man who she had not seen in eight years.

'Misty! I bet you're surprised to see me again - and even more blown away by my amazing looks, which no female can resist!' Rudy declared, posing dramatically.

'What the fuck are you doing here? How did you know I was here?' Misty asked.

'How I found out that you were here? Let's just say that I heard it through the grapevine,' Rudy said. 'But anyways, m'lady, why don't we get out of this cave and go somewhere a little private, so I can explore your cave?'

'M'lady ? Females ? Are you a fucking MRA?' Misty asked.

'Of course! Men have rights too! Feminazis believe that females are better than men, which is bullshit!'

'Fuck you! And you can't explore my cave! I don't like you and I never did!' Misty snapped. 'And you know that there is only one guy who gets to enter my cave. At least, if he stops being a dense little kid.'

'But Ash is a dense little kid, even though he is eighteen now! I am an adult man! Isn't that much more attractive for a female like you?' Rudy asked.

'Rudy, when you were hitting on me on Trovita Island, I was ten. You are fucking creepy!' Misty countered. 'And please please please just stop calling women females !'

'What's wrong with calling females females ?' Rudy asked.

'It's sexist and dehumanising!' Misty snapped. 'It's fine to use female as an adjective. Like, if you want to say, my female friend , or the female Gym Leader , that's fine. But using female or females as a noun, instead of woman or women is fucking sexist!'

'La! Corsola!' Misty's Corsola snapped at Rudy.

'It's always MRA's, incels, nice guys and other manosphere scumbags who say female and females instead of women . And they never call men males . It's always men and females !' Misty snapped.

'What's so bad about being a nice guy? I'm just stating the facts. you're a hot female and you need a nice guy like me to take care of you!'

'Because nice guys aren't genuinely nice! They believe that women owe them sex in return for being kind or for helping them,' Misty yelled at Rudy. 'And I don't need you to take care of me!'

'Corsola! Corsola!' Misty's Pokemon squealed. Then, she winked at Misty, giving her trainer a hint that Rudy did not understand.

Misty understood what Corsola was suggesting, grabbed her mallet out of her backpack and smacked Rudy on his head. 'Men like you are awful! And I'm a woman, not a female ! Okay, I'm female , but not a female , you twat!'

'Huh? You can't hit me with a mallet! I'm a hot, sexy man!'

'If you call women females , you are a bastard! And you're not hot and sexy at all!' Misty snapped.

Meanwhile, Ash heard some words from a small distance. He was not able to hear the full sentence, but heard a familiar voice say words that made him feel relieved. It was Misty! She said to someone that they were not hot and sexy at all! Was she talking to Rudy? Of course she would be! Who else would be hitting on her in the depths of a cave?

Two minutes later, Ash and Brock finally reached the depths of the cave, where they saw their friend MIsty hug her Corsola. But she was not the only person there. They also saw Rudy, who was crying while sitting on a rock.

Ash ran up to his crush. 'Hello Misty! I missed you so much!'

'I missed you as well! I'm so happy to see you!' Misty squealed from happiness.

Misty spread her arms and ran towards Ash. However, before she was able to wrap her arms around her beloved Ashyboy, Pikachu jumped in her arms. 'Pikapi!'

Then, Brock interrupted the Ash and Misty reunion. 'Um… Hello? I'm here too, you little lovebirds!'

'Lovebirds? We are NOT lovebirds!' Ash screamed. However, his cheeks got red.

'Eh… Ash? You know why we're here, right? Stop that stupid act and tell Misty what you want to tell her!' Brock commanded.

'I… I… Um… I can't do it… This is too difficult!' Ash muttered.

'Come on, Ash! This is your chance! Please, just try to tell Misty how you feel!' Brock begged his friend.
