A/N: Hey, sorry that this chapter took so long. I was working on multiple stories. Here is the second chapter, I hope you enjoy it.

"For all I had been to serve as a butler to the Waynes, never had I given in to my selfish needs of my own benefits. The passing of the Waynes has left me depressed. The funeral of the Waynes had brought together many familiar faces from the galaxy to pay their respects. The Wayne family is one of the most influential, respectable families in the Universe. That is how I had come to respect them. They are the people who had given me a purpose. And my role was expanded as soon as Master Bruce was born. 6 years I had been part of their life until tragedy occurred, and I lost Martha and Thomas."

Alfred walks away from the shelves, looking through the study window.

"I had thought Master Bruce died that day. Three years later, I was wrong. It turns out he never chose to return home. When he did, he was different. I had tried my best to give my greatest services to young Master Bruce after the severe trauma of losing his parents. It turns out, given the information from the two Jedi that brought him to Wayne's residence, Bruce spent three years exploring the entire Universe using his trauma and mental scar to encourage him to fight for justice. Why had I not chosen to look for him is anyone's guess? Was I like any person, a coward, accepting his death, was I too weak? I shouldn't have been, and learning Master Bruce still living well, I vow to get stronger for the sake of the last son of the Waynes."

Alfred observes the cruiser leaving the Wayne residence.

"I wished I had stopped Master Bruce from stepping on that cruiser with the Jedi. The Jedi looking middle-aged, had expressed interest in taking the boy with him to the Jedi Temple. I wanted to stop him, I feared the boy was not ready to face the treacherous sources of danger once the Jedi trained him into a Jedi Knight, but Master Bruce willingly chose to join them. I believed this was a mistake, the fire in Bruce's eyes purge the chance to move on from the trauma. If he is trained by the Jedi Order, it is they that they will be in danger. I had tried to communicate with Martha, expressing my regret and begged her to forgive me. Martha Wayne is an Anodite, a Force-sensitive who is among the most powerful Force-users in the Multiverse, and disapproves of her son's involvement with the Jedi. But she's not here, neither is Master Thomas, the responsibility of taking care of Master Bruce was passed down to me, and I failed to become his guardian. I hope for Master Bruce's sake, my regretful decision does not result in the boy's death. I had buried enough Waynes my life."

Jedi Temple, Coruscant

The return of the cruiser brought Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Queen Chronoa and the young Bruce Wayne to the presence of the Supreme Chancellor and his Republic guards along with other individuals that occupy this part of Coruscant.

The Jedi approached them the pair with a formal motion of a bow for greeting them. Bruce continued to examine where he is, he's in a stardust of lights shining likes jewels everywhere, the transportations crossing over one another, the numerous lights beaming from various screens, billboards, the brilliant radiance is distinguishably beautiful.

During his view of this part of Coruscant, which he was very familiar with, the Queen had passed him. Her skin color differs from the two Jedi and himself, she is very unique in appearance as her skin color is pink-purple skin. The hair's color is pinkish-red hair. She is very young and pretty, perhaps a few years older than him. He could be wrong.

The conversation between the Jedi and the Supreme Chancellor ended once the Supreme Chancellor looked down at the boy with a polite look. "You must be Bruce Wayne.", he said.

Bruce turns away from the view of Coruscant to a tall, staring at a silver-haired man of indeterminate age, neither young nor old in appearance, but something of each. Did not show a smile, his entire expressed dulled as unhappiness.

"It is a great relief to see you alive and well, Mr. Wayne.", he said with a smile. He bestows a measured tone of sadness as he continues speaking to the young Bruce. "My condolences for your losses, I couldn't imagine how traumatising it is to watch your parents die.".

"Bruce, this is Supreme Chancellor Valorum.", Qui-Gon introduced.

"I know who he is.", Bruce said. "his face shows in every planet.".

Padawan Kenobi, Master Qui-Gon and Supreme Chancellor Valorum exchanged glances.

"From what I've heard, you've been travelling to different planets.", Supreme Chancellor said. "I am sorry you had to witness the brutality. Not many planets have peace.".

Bruce did not respond no more. He kept quiet.

"The public has not been informed of whether Bruce Wayne is alive or deceased. It is time we share positive news, hope for the Universe, the last son of the Waynes still lives.", Supreme Chancellor said.

"Chancellor, I respectfully request you reconsider revealing the status of the last living Wayne.", Master Qui-Gon said.

Supreme Chancellor wasn't at all approved of Qui-Gon's request. "The Republic is still caught in a bloody war between Apokolips and New Genesis, the Senate has lost all hope since the death of the Waynes, and you want to make a half-witted request to continue to keep the news of Bruce Wayne in the dark while everything burns?", he said.

"Yes.", Qui-Gon said.

"That is insanity. Without a presence of a Wayne, the Senate and the Republic loses all hope within itself. Have you not seen the swift decay of hope left in them?", the Supreme Chancellor said.

"I am well aware of that, Chancellor, my interests are the same as yours.", Qui-Gon said. "the boy will go with me, so he can be trained.".

"I seem to recall the Jedi only bring in people who possess the same sorcery the Jedi has.", Supreme Chancellor said.

"Yes, this boy is Force-sensitive.", Qui-Gon divulged.

"What?", Supreme Chancellor exclaimed.

"It is true.", Queen Chronoa said. "Whoever or whatever killed the Waynes must be very powerful, and has a personal distaste toward the Waynes. Which is why Bruce Wayne should continue to be deemed by the public dead". He looks at the Supreme Chancellor. "I trust the Jedi will take care of Bruce Wayne, and train him to become a Jedi Knight.".

When Bruce turned toward Queen Chronoa, she gave him a wink, and he felt himself blush.

Bruce Wayne represents hope. No one in the Senate can bring out the light Bruce can beam outward. Right now, the Senate is full of greedy, squabbling representatives who are only looking out for themselves and their home systems. There is no interest in the common good. Hope had been shattered for 3 years, and there is an opportunity it can rise again. But if the Chancellor permits Qui-Gon to train the boy, maybe there is an alternative way to mend the pieces of hope, the light to the entire Multiverse.

"Very well, I will allow the Jedi Order to train Bruce Wayne.", Supreme Chancellor finally said despite having some hesitation.

Qui-Gon nodded with a controlled calmness and appreciation over the Chancellor's decision.

"Master Qui-Gon, I ask for you and your padawan's presence regarding a crisis in Krypton.", Qui-Gon said.

Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and the Supreme Chancellor moved away from Bruce and the others.

The men escort the Queen along the rampway.

Bruce started to follow, but then stopped as he saw that the Jedi are talking with the Supreme Chancellor about something important

Queen Chronoa slowed her pace as she saw Bruce wasn't with her. "Bruce.", she called. "Come.".

Bruce wondered what they are talking about. Is this related to the things he was involved in those planets? A hand was placed over Bruce's shoulder, prompting him to turn, and see Queen Chronoa behind him.

"Let's go.", she softly said to the young Bruce Wayne.

Finally, Bruce followed Queen Chronoa, leaving the ramp.

The escort made by Queen Chronoa brought Bruce Wayne with her to a building, only used by the Queen. No one else can access the building except the Queen. They went down a series of corridors that connected to other chambers.

Bruce glanced around at the tall ceilings and high windows where he saw the forest of buildings visible. At one point in the period of following the Queen, Bruce saw a photo displaying the Queen with two familiar faces.

The thought of the Queen with his parents made him less surprised. He once remembered meeting someone with the face of who he sees now. "You met my parents, didn't you?", he questioned boldly.

The Queen stopped. "Indeed, I have met your parents, countless times.", she recalled, without even looking at Bruce. She hid her sad expression. The emotional appearance was due to remembering the death of the boy's parents.

"Did you know why they died?", Bruce asked inquisitively.

Queen Chronoa turned, and looked at Bruce. "Like the Jedi Order, your mother and father have made many enemies, even powerful ones.", she spoke in truth.

"Could you tell me who they are?", Bruce asked.

Chronoa knew straight away Bruce was seeking to avenge his parents. She knows people like him, they won't stop until they find the person who is responsible for his or her death.

"I don't have the answers, Bruce.", she said mildly to him.

Bruce was forced to swallow her response as an acknowledgement she didn't know about who wanted his parents dead. Queen Chronoa walks away, and so Bruce resumed movement, following her.

Jedi Temple

None of the buildings in Coruscant could match in structure to a Jedi Temple due to its colossal pyramid with multiple spires rising skyward from its flat top, it sat apart from everything at the end of a broad promenade linking it with bulkier, sharper-edged towers. This temple was meant for Jedi Knights and their students for the purpose of studying the Force along with other things.

What happens inside the temple is a Jedi Council room filled with 12 council members forming a circle facing inward where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan stood presently. The room was circular and domed, supported by graceful pillars spaced between broad windows open to the city and the light.

Qui-Gon has addressed his awareness the Council has sent him and his apprentice to the planet Krypton in hopes of resolving a conflict after the heads of state called for the Republic's aid to end the conflict.

"A problem you have, Qui-Gon?", the most power member of the Jedi Council asked.

"Dumbledore, we both know the war in Krypton can never resolve.", Qui-Gon said. No Force-user, a Jedi, has surpassed Dumbledore up to this day.

"I cannot argue with your statement, you are truthful with your words.", Dumbledore said. He slowly rolls his eyeballs downward. "If all is left in Krypton is a continuous war with no end, with innocents gone, I would've considered turning away from Krypton. But my vision of a powerful force to ever exist in the Universe could not stop.".

"It's related to Krypton?", Qui-Gon asked.

"A forecast that there will be two sentients alive to bring about the formation of a league of heroes that will fight the evil. One of them is predicted to be from Krypton, it is only the fate of Krypton that will decide this one's path.", Dumbledore said. "The other has already existed. I have read your mind, Qui-Gon, you wish to speak to me regarding the prophecy.".

The Council Members exchanged glances before looking at Qui-Gon.

Obi-Wan remained standing, unmoved. He held his breath, knowing what was coming.

"Myself, my Padawan, our last mission with Queen Chronoa brought me fortunate news that will hopefully maintain the prophecy is at its truest and meaningful way.", Qui-Gon said with a steady gaze toward Dumbledore.

"Involving a person?", another Jedi Master asked.

Mace Windu. Perhaps considered the second most powerful Jedi right now with Dumbledore being at the top is somebody who never cracks a smile, has a full commitment to the Order's ancient traditions, and has an everlasting scowl that rarely seems to fade.

Qui-Gon nodded. "A boy, I saw his powers demonstrated in Tatooine, his Force, he took down many of Jabba's bounty hunters, even the best.", he said.

The Jedi Masters are in awe, feeling as though this person could prove a threat to the entire Universe, or the Multiverse.

"My thoughts the boy should join the Jedi Order were further convinced when I perceived the boy had not a killed single Bounty Hunter, a guard or Jabba the Hutt. They all remain alive.", Qui-Gon said.

"A boy who does not kill?", Mace Windu exclaimed.

"Yes.", Qui-Gon said.

"Not killing is one of the highest moral standards. If has not taken away a life proves he has learned his morality from his parents. What is the boy's name?", Dumbledore asked. He had a feeling he knew who this boy is.

Qui-Gon cautiously became ready to mention the name. He broadens the wideness of his eyesight to all the Jedi Masters. "His name is Bruce Wayne.", he said.

For the first time, Bruce is inside one of the rooms never entered, the Council Room, facing the Jedi Council, standing in the same place Qui-Gon Jinn had stood some hours earlier. Being brought into the chamber, nervousness did not shroud him even though the eyes of the Jedi were distant as they viewed him. He sensed they were looking not past him, but inside. They began to question him then, without preparatory introductions or explanations, without expending any effort at all to make him feel comfortable or welcome. He knew some of them by name, for Qui-Gon had described a few. They questioned him at great length, testing memory and knowledge, seeking insights at which he could only guess. Learning his true identity, they immediately knew of his existence as the son of Martha Wayne and Thomas Wayne, his peaceful life up until witnessing the death of his parents.

"You have indeed surpassed our expectations, young Bruce Wayne.", Dumbledore praised with a fatherly look. "How do you feel?".

Bruce made an honest expression, feeling like he could trust the oldest member of the Jedi Council. "I feel fine.", he spoke in an honest way.

Dumbledore senses Bruce is trying to bury the suffering he experienced for 3 years. The cuts and bruises around him made the wisest Force-user not dive straight to believing him. He calmed his voice with elegance and patience as he readies to speak. "You do not have to hide feelings of your suffering. What is said does not come out of this room.", he said softly.

Bruce lowered his head. He remembered the three years of suffering that occurred right after his parents died. He was all alone, with nobody to support him. He was tortured both physically and mentally in every planet. "Everything happened so fast. Mom... and... dad... died. That thing was gone, but I did not choose to run away from it. I was looking for the thing.", he said.

"You were looking for this thing that killed your parents for three years.", Mace Windu asked.

Bruce nodded. "I snuck up on many transports to travel to so many planets.", Bruce said, remember the many planets he endured to get in such as Tamaran, Mandalore, Alderaan, Kashyyyk, Bespin.

The Jedi Masters felt sympathy for the boy, but they continued to stay visibly expressionless.

"I'm sorry for the burden you had to go through, young Bruce Wayne.", Dumbledore said with a sympathetic look.

The Jedi continued the examination that had lasted for a long time until Dumbledore was finally able to acknowledge there is nothing left for them to test on Bruce.

"The examination of the boy is finished", Dumbledore said. He glances at Qui-Gon. "You are correct about the boy, Qui-Gon.".

Mace Windu nodded, though expressionless.

"The Force is strong in him.", one of the Jedi Masters agreed.

Qui-Gon felt a rush of satisfaction on hearing the words.

An uncomfortable silence in the air as the Council members looked down from one to the other.

"No.", Mace Windu said quietly. "He will not be trained.".

Bruce was shocked, but continued staying expressionless. The Jedi Masters won't permit him to train?, he thought.

"No?", he exclaimed. Qui-Gon was shocked, almost speechless. He tried hard to ignore the I-told-you-so-look on Obi-Wan's young face.

Mace Windu nodded, dark eyes steady.

The decision made no sense. It could not be allowed to stand. He's the Chosen One, Qui-Gon knows it with certainty.

"He is too old, and there is already too much anger in him.", Mace Windu said.

"Perhaps, but you've read the boy's mind, have you not? You see truth before your eyes that he does not kill.", Qui-Gon said.

"Actually Qui-Gon, the future is uncertain about the boy's path if we accept him to join the Jedi Order. There are certain things that might slowly turn him into a weapon of mass destruction, considering the knowledge we have over infinite Universes.", a Jedi Master spoke.

Is this true, the vision Qui-Gon had of the Chosen One that will restore peace to the entire Multiverse, it will be in shambles?

"There is one possibility for Bruce Wayne to join the Jedi Order.", Dumbledore said, raising hope for Bruce Wayne.

"Dumbledore, I am against this idea!", Mace Windu asserted.

"Silence!", Dumbledore said through his croaky, dry, loud voice. Mace Windu was completely silent even though he desired to speak against the offer Dumbledore gives to Bruce Wayne.

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan had a feeling they know what Dumbledore is going to say.

"Obviously, there can only be one Padawan given to a Jedi Knight. Are you prepared for the trial, Padawan Kenobi?", Dumbledore said.

Bruce is confused. Is there a way to join the Jedi Order?

I am ready to face the trials!", Qui-Gon's protege said heatedly.

Qui-Gon appreciates Obi-Wan's response to Dumbledore. Though he is headstrong, and he has much to learn about the living Force, he is capable. There is little more Obi-Wan can learn from him.

"Now is not the time for this.", Mace Windu stated with finality. "The crisis in Krypton, we must contend.".

"Indeed, you must attend to a crisis on Krypton right now as the other Jedi Knights are unable to arrive on Krypton.", Dumbledore agreed. "Take young Bruce Wayne with you. Let him experience the war he will eventually to be involved in the future. But make sure he does not get involved.".

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan nodded.

"May the Force be with you.", Dumbledore said finally.

Several dozen steps away from the ship, Qui-Gon was close. What holds him back for this moment is Bruce Wayne. "Are you ready, Bruce?", Qui-Gon said in a fatherly way.

"Krypton, I have never heard of that planet.", Bruce said.

"Not many kids around your age would learn Krypton, not even the Padawans. A very dangerous planet.", Qui-Gon said.

"Too dangerous not an army of Jedi can handle Krypton?", Bruce asked.

"This specie is called Kryptonians. They possess powers that make them tremendous foes to the Jedi Order. Super-strength, super-speed, heat vision, flight, x-ray vision, invulnerability.", Qui-Gon said.

"Oh.", Bruce noted.

"Do not worry about Krypton. Their powers have been sealed away from the red lights.", Qui-Gon reassured. He lowered his body to one knee. "and if they hurt you, I will protect you with my life.". Qui-Gon places two hands over Bruce's shoulder. "You have my word.".

Bruce nodded weakly.

Obi-Wan heard Qui-Gon talking to Bruce. Many times in his life as Qui-Gon's padawan, he feared the idea of the day Qui-Gon might die. Since discovering Bruce and contemplating about him as the Chosen One, Qui-Gon has seemingly been fully intent to sacrificing himself so Bruce can illuminate hope over the entire Universe. It seems Obi-Wan won't get his best moments with Qui-Gon when his time of death comes.

Everyone entered the Republic cruiser. Their next destination is Krypton.
