At Royal Woods Elementary School in Royal Woods, Michigan

"So, as you can see, the structure of the Iguanodon teeth lacks the sharpness for ripping and tearing meat like carnivores do. They are clearly made for crushing and grinding plants indicating it was an herbivore of the late Jurassic to early Cretaceous Period," 5-year-old Lisa Loud explained to her class. "Any questions?"

Several of her fellow first grade classmates raised their hands.

"Just because it has the word 'iguana' in its name doesn't mean it's actually related to the class of Reptilia," Lisa said. This caused everyone to lower their hands much to the prodigy's disappointment.

Later after classes were finished, Lisa took the school bus home. Sitting beside her was her 9-year-old gothic sister, Lucy, and sitting in the seat behind them were their other sisters, 7-year-old twins tomboy Lana and pageant queen Lola. Though Lisa didn't put a lot of stock in showing emotion, her older siblings could tell that something was bothering her.

"Is something troubling you, Lisa?" Lucy asked sensing her younger sister's somber mood.

"One thing I miss about working at the University is that the students I gave lectures to actually understood the information I was conveying," Lisa explained. "The minds of these first grade adolescents are developed enough to grasp the greater concept of what I'm trying to teach them."

"Don't take it too hard," Lola apathetically suggested while admiring herself in her pocket mirror. "Even we barely understand the things you say half the time."

"Lola!" Lana said disapprovingly to her twin.

"What? I'm just telling it like it is."

"It feels as if those of us that truly understand and are dedicated to the fields of science are going extinct just like our prehistoric predecessors," Lisa said glumly. "I can only hope that future generations will carry on the works of the great minds of this century like Dr. Felix, Dr. Jones, Professor Rex, and myself."

The school bus eventually arrived at 1216 Franklin Avenue where the Loud House, home of big and noisy Loud family, stood and dropped off the four sisters. They entered their small two-story house to find the other members of their family doing their own things.

16-year-old rocker Luna was jamming on her guitar, 15-year-old comedian Luan was making jokes and puns with her ventriloquist dummy Mr. Coconuts, 2-year-old Lily was coloring on the walls, 12-year-old only brother Lincoln was playing a VR game, 14-year-old athlete Lynn was continuously kicking a ball in the air with her knees trying not to let it hit the floor, and 17-year-old fashion designer Leni was helping their mother set the table while their father was preparing dinner.

"Hi kids," Rita greeted four of her younger daughters. "Lori should be arriving any minute. How was school?"

"Great Mommy," Lola answered. "I got an A on my test today."

"I got a B on mine," Lana said.

"The Mortician's Club held a funeral in honor of the passing of a fourth grade class's hamster," Lucy informed.

"My presentation in class was worthy of an A+," Lisa also informed. "However, do to the lack of more developed minds that would be capable of understanding what I said, it was a bittersweet victory."

"Aw, sorry to hear that," Rita responded sympathetically. "Perhaps dinner will help cheer you up."

Meanwhile, Lincoln was still playing his game. He fought off hordes of digital creatures that resembled prehistoric velociraptors which he saw through his VR goggles.

"Hey Stinkin', think fast!" a voice called to him.

Lincoln turned to see a raptor leaping into the air toward him. He took off his goggles only to find it was Lynn leaping toward him. He was tackled to the ground and found himself in a headlock by his older sister.

"You didn't think fast enough!" Lynn said and proceeded to give her brother a noogie.

"Cut it out, Lynn!" Lincoln pleaded through his laughter.

"Alright, everyone to the table," Lynn Sr. called from the kitchen. "Dinner is almost ready."

Suddenly, everyone heard a knocking at the front door.

"That must be Lori," Rita assumed. "Leni, could you get the door?"

"On it, Mom," Leni replied and went to answer the door.

However, when she opened it, instead of her sister, she found a tall man with light blonde hair and a bushy beard. He wore glasses, a white t-shirt, gray slacks, and a tan fedora. He carried a cane with a gold handle.

"Lori, you look so different," the clueless Leni said to the stranger. "When did you change your entire appearance?"

"I'm afraid you have me mistaken for someone else, my dear," the man politely corrected. "Is your family home?"

"We were totes just about to have dinner."

"Perfect, then may my secretary and I come in?" the man asked while introducing his companion.

She was tall and slender with long blonde hair and high cheekbones. She wore black slacks and a black blazer over a light blue shirt. She carried a black briefcase in her right hand.

"Leni, who are these strangers?" Rita asked noticing who was at the door.

"Please forgive the instruction," the man apologized. "I am Professor Tyler Rex and this is my secretary, Ms. Stirling."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Ms. Stirling said with a small smile.

"Wait!" a surprised and excited Lisa yelled, leapt from her seat, and ran to the door to meet the new visitors. "Professor Rex? The Professor Tyler Rex?!"

"Who's that?" Lynn Jr. asked.

"Only the greatest paleontologist of our century!"

"He looks more golden than pale to me," a confused Leni said.

"No, it means he studies the ancient history of the world by examining fossils," Lisa corrected her simpleminded sister.

"Like dinosaurs?" Lincoln asked.

"Anything from the Prehistoric to the Stone Age."

"And recently I've been dabbling in molecular biology," Professor Rex proudly added. "But I should really get right to my point about my unexpected arrival."

"That's right. What is a well-respected member in the advancing scientific community doing here of all places?" Lisa asked her idol curiously.

"Lisa Marie Loud," the professor addressed her as he took a seat at the dinner table with Lisa sitting next to him and listening. "I've so much about you just as you've heard so much about me. Your scientific achievements are fascinating. While we may be generations apart, I see you as my equal. We strive to learn all we can while making advancements in human progression."

"I take it you've recently made such an advancement," the prodigy deduced.

"Nothing gets by you," the professor replied. "What I've done is kind of a secret for now. I have many enemies that would love to get their hands on it and use it for their own purposes. But I trust someone like you with great respect for a fellow scientist will respect that and maybe give your opinion."

Ms. Stirling opened the briefcase and pulled out a file.

"This is a detail-limited summary of the project," she informed handing the document to the tiny girl.

"A theme park?" a confused but intrigued Lisa read the document.

"Theme park?" the rest of her family asked also intrigued.

"Yes," the professor confirmed. "We are constructing a brand-new amusement park based around my discovery. A prototype is located on a private island of mine. We've been working out the kinks and we're hoping that if it's successful, it could become the greatest amusement park the world has ever seen."

"Even greater than Dairyland?" Lincoln asked in disbelief.

"Even greater than Dairyland," the professor confirmed.

Excitement rose within the sole male member of the Loud siblings.

"Lisa, you are a very young woman of very exceptional intellect," the professor complimented. "The park is designed to target people of all ages as well as provide learning experiences about the attractions. I thought an intellectual child with a deep passion for knowledge such as yourself would appreciate such an experience."

"Well, I must admit my interest has been peaked," the little prodigy admitted.

"Then I would like to extend to you an offer to visit the prototype park on my private island," the professor offered. "I need someone of great intellectual importance to give a detailed opinion based on their experience. You are well respected in the science community so I believe people will not take your opinions lightly. If your opinion is good, then my park will receive the funding it needs for us to open it to the public."

"The trip would be completely paid for," Ms. Stirling informed.

"So, what do you say?"

Lisa thought to herself for a moment. Then she looked around at the rest of her family who were all eagerly awaiting her decision. It was clear they wanted her to accept this offer. Some were nodding their heads and giving thumbs up with big smiles. The chance to see an amusement park that is said to be greater than Dairyland excited them. She just couldn't find it in her heart to refuse.

"I will accept your offer under one condition," she finally said.

"And what would that be?" the professor asked curiously.

"It wouldn't be fair for me to see this amusement park by myself. So, I would like your permission to allow the rest of my family to come along for the experience as well."

Everyone turned to the professor eagerly awaiting his decision.

"Very well then," he agreed with a friendly smile.

At hearing this, the entire family erupted in cheers of happiness and delight. Their cries of joy echoed throughout the house.

"Hey Louds, keep it down! I'm trying to enjoy my dinner!" Mr. Grouse, their grouchy elderly neighbor, complained. But his complaints were drowned out by the sounds of everyone's joy.

"What's our schedule like for the rest of the week?" Lynn Sr. excitedly asked.

"We got nothing important planned for the next two weeks," Rita happily informed.

"I have no parties to go to!" Luan said.

"My next big game is weeks away!" Lynn Jr. informed.

"I can sit out my next pageant," Lola said.

"If I had a heart it would be bursting with joy," Lucy said in her usual monotone voice.

"Well, looks like we're in for another big family adventure," Lincoln said to the readers.

Everyone's celebrating was interrupted by a knocking at the door. It opened up to reveal Lori, the eldest of Lynn and Rita's children.

"Hi everyone," the 18-year-old greeted her family. "Sorry I'm late. Traffic was literally the worst. So, what have I missed?"
