I sat on the marry go round, going around and around watching the small faire around me as couples and groups played many faire like games. There was a potion master that sits on an empty and unused wooden stage.

I leaned back from the head of my horse and pulled out my wand.

I breathed and focused on a mana boost spell pointing it at everyone around me as I passed around and around before I shook it and pointed again.

How do I do this?

"You need to feel it inside, behind your heart." I was startled again someone was behind me I almost fell over trying to see him under this hood.

"Nolan, What are you doing here?"

"Not sure." I faced him more I was almost falling off my horse. He was sitting on a bench with his feet on a small horse in front of him. His hands behind his head looking comfertable. "I had to see someone here and well, I was to lazy to go back."

I made a small noise.

"Your hood and mask really make it hard to see all around you."

"Your one to speak." I said.

All I could see was his mouth as it turned up slightly.

"That is how I know." Mine turned up slightly as well but he could not see it.

"Feel it and then move it down your arm into your wand." I nodded, he is kind of a teacher. I faced front and pointed again. I felt it move when the man was suddenly surrounded by a light blue light around his whole body.

I smiled almost close to laughing as I finally did something.

"So you can do it." He yawned. "I thought you were going to hurt them."

"Why would I hurt them?" He shrugged. "And you just let me?" He shrugged again.

We passed the man again as he looked around for the culprit.

Nolan had a small smirk on his face.

"Looks like you are not just a useless summon." He stood up grabbing a pole. "I hope you do well and leave Professor Drake with an open mouth. A rare Balence Wizard." He jumped off with skill as I spun away.

By the time I got back to where he was he was gone.

That was the most I talked to him, he normally ignores me so that was surprising.

I sat on a bench I labeled mine as I was here a lot. It sat between the death and Myth school giving a perfect look at the large tree that was fenced into the middle. Not sure why it just was my favorite place to sit.

I just used mana boost at everyone I could before I felt weak and sleepy. What a strange feeling. Pressing my chest it was because I was so low on mana it messed with me. I tried to use it on myself but all it did was spend the little I had left and nothing else.

I slowly walked home thinking about what the headmaster said.

We were both thankful I have magic and that I should check out the classes to learn but sometimes balance favor the elemental classes over the natural.

The spells I have are support.

Even my magical ability knows I would rather stand in the background.

I just want to go home.

I sat in my quiet room making myself a new robe with the colors of balance wanting to represent like everyone else.

If I am not a shit wizard maybe I can find my key or go anywhere else but a school where people seem to hate or ignore me.

I slid into a seat at the back of the lively fire classroom. People chatting and sitting on desks.

There was that red head I ran into with Nolan sitting on some yellow haired boy's lap playing with his hair.

Perhaps that meant she has a boyfriend and that was how she was going to be in trouble.

"Shut up." The teacher yelled a wave of fire came from her feet making people jump up on the chairs or desks before taking there seats as it moved around the floor.

I lifted my feet onto my chair and hugged my legs.

I watched one kid take off his shoe that was on fire and put it out before sliding it back on.

I small smile crossed my face in humor.

"Today we are learning about better control." I heard a few sighs and boo's confusing me. "Ya, ya, that's no fun but some of you are not the best at control. This time you need to keep the fire on a small log from spreading." She picked up a stack of small sticks. "Pass them back." and they did as some guy with black hair turned to look at me.

He was so confused and dropped my stick.

I just bent over and picked it up.

His eye's scanned me like I scared him before he turned away.

While we did this people were talking and laughing but I could not even make a flame to even try and control. I could not stand up or stick my hand up to draw any more attention to me so I was lost.

"Excuse me." I tapped on the guy's shoulder making him look back interested. "Can you make me a flame?"

His face contorted looking at me. "If you can not make a simple flame, you do not belong here." He looked away before looking back. "Weirdo." And ignored me.

He was right, I just quietly snuck out of the room, I looked back as the teacher was eyeing me.

I was deep in the stacks at the library looking for any information on earth. This place is crazy and built with magic, never ending rows with low light, they have everything so they should have this.

I moved a dusty book making me sneeze into my mask, I pulled it down feeling gross and wiping my nose on my arm.

I sat down and opened it.

It told of moon magic making me feel it in my heart.

The moon does effect people on earth, people get more crazy during a full moon. Moon magic can make people transform making me think of all the legends we had from werewolves and skin walkers.

So earth had it's own magic just not like this.

We were close to the planet earth. We could feel emotions, connect with plants and animals and more.

All I could think was we also connect with cars and phones and some apologize for hitting a table with our toe. We did not have life magic, or any magic you could see so that made people think we had none at all.

I wiped away a tear as I read such a short summery on earth but they have not been there in so long the world was different then it is now.

Losing the key makes sense.

The universe has dragons and dog people that maybe one time long ago they came there but they just turned into myth and unreal.

To me the sound of earth magic made me so happy. It seemed beautiful and that is sad to the rest or them think we were nothing. So much nothing when they lost the key they did not care.

I wanted to take this large book home.

Just for the only picture at the back showing tree's and a lake with a waterfall.

It was nice to see a picture of it.

If I can have balance, does that mean earthlings have a chance to do real magic or are we all muggles.

I stood between Myth and Death watching the sky leaning on the large stone fence. We just floated here, unsure where here was but this view was amazing. Scary but amazing. Ravenswood was so quiet early in the morning when everyone is inside classrooms.

"One of my favorite places." I heard the nice voice of Malorn, Looking over he held a large stack of binder's, he shifted them trying not to make them fall.

I slowly stepped to him and grabbed some to help, he seemed startled by me as I followed him to the death school.

"Thanks'." He smiled back at me I just nodded.

Death was a different place, quiet, dark, people were not talking, deep in books. I watched Him pass a binder to every kid, when he was done he came for mine. No one spoke, no one thanked him.

I stood there sliding my hands in my pockets nervous as he looked at me.

I did notice the teacher was not here.

I wanted to speak to him. Talk, hang but nothing came out.

I just turned and left.

Why am I so weird around him?

I was walking passed Myth when I heard yelling as the myths tower's door opened. An area people can practice there skills in a way to make them think. I know about it, never been in one.

This pink haired girl came tearing out running into me as we fell the to ground in a roll. I sat up fast as the large troll came running out the door but then just vanished once it left the area making me breath again.

Looking down at her she was cuddling into me rubbing her face on my chest.

"Excuse me?"

"You saved me." She rubbed more her face turning red.

"What are you doing?"

She smiled. "I wish mine were this nice."

"Okay." I said unsure how to get up. She looked up at me before her face dropped. She looked me over obviously not able to see my face. Really is a normal look as she got on her knees.

I was free as I got on my feet.

She did not look down on me like most Myth.

"Don't go." She said standing up when I turned to walk away. "Will you help me." She pouted. "I need to get an object." She stepped forward and grabbed me pulling me close. "I can't let Professor Drake know I can't do it but I can't."

"I am not really useful myself."

"Look at you, you look badass." She grabbed my hand taking that as a yes and opened the door with her card. "Okay quick, let's see if you can even get inside."

I walked in with ease, might be her hands, maybe we tricked the system of Myth only.

She sighed in front of a table and brought up troll, rank four.

"Okay let me get my mana back and we will go for it."

She sat down in wait. She really is going old school, let it come back on it's own instead of potions. I pulled out my wand and used mana boost on her. She squeaked and stood up looking at the small blue glow around her arms and body.

Her eye's went up as she smiled. "That was fast." She jumped a little getting psyched. "Okay."

A troll slowly appeared in front of us as I grabbed my wand tight nervous, I never fought before. I felt a small ting on my left breast and suddenly in a place only I could see was.

"Party with Katy hiddendagger."

The names in this world are weird.

"Okay let's go..." She looked at me curious.

"Ryan."

She said my name for the first time. "Just Ryan?" I nodded. "Man your weird." She smirked at me. "I enjoy weird."

I watched as she dodged this troll hit's or blocked them with her arm as she moved around. I saw a health bar on his head along with Katy and me. it shimmered like it did not exist.

She shot a few small sparks of yellow only hurting him a little bit. "I suck at summons and yet I am stuck in Myth." She was angry. "Can't even switch to something else."

I checked my spells. I then shot a damage boost at her and she glowed red.

She shot at him and it really made a large difference making her squeak at me. "What is this, what are you?"

I did not speak as I then tried my small heal on her. It raised her health and cleaned her arm that she was using to block. I then tried what she was doing, I pointed my wand at him and just shoved mana into it with no purpose and I shot a brown burst at him hurting him only a little.

"This is awesome." She yelled shooting at him with the boost. He came at her and I quickly shifted placing a shield between them, it was almost invisible but a small shimmer could be seen, the baseball bat the troll held bashed into it knocking it on his ass.

She looked at me shocked before I pointed my wand. "Don't let him up."

"Right." She started to cast a real spell. It took a second as it got on his feet and I could see why she did not use it when she needs to dodge a lot. Suddenly a wooden person was next to her.

It slid in front of her and was used as a tank, taking all the hit's as she casted another. I backed up and waited for her to do this as much on her own as she could. Suddenly weird looking bat's came flying from nowhere smashing into the troll with such power it knocked it on it's ass and disappeared.

There sitting where he once was was a small glowing ball.

"Oh finally." She picked it up. Walking to the door she peeked out before waving me to follow. "Thanks'. That was amazing." She headed to the door of the classroom, held her hand to her mouth and told me to keep quiet before she winked at me and walked inside. "I did it." She yelled into the room.

I just smiled softy and headed home.
