There was a large group in the commons around the shallow pond, I almost walked away when the man yelled.

"Come get your mood ring, it shows your mood."

I loved mood rings even if they did not work perfectly or really at all.

It was a pig man half my size as many people were buying them like crazy. I slid closer and bought one. Some random hustler again just stopping by, it happens, it was a small silver ring with a large stone.

Weirdly, almost the same as home.

I eyed it over as I walked home with a small smile on my face.

I placed the large book carefully on my desk and sat in the chair. I pulled down my mask as I placed it on my finger. It started to turn a bright pink making me pick of the cheat sheet of colors and that means happy.

I was happy.

A bit of home. It was nice.

The morning sun and air hit me like we were on a real planet as I slowly headed to the shopping district to eat. I walked passed a few strong people riding their mounts, most are a form of summon as others are pets but over half the city just walked.

I slowly moved my pancakes around before looking at my ring.

A bright blue. Relaxed.

So this may actually work.

I peered over at a ice wizard eating alone as well. There on her finger was a ring making me smile under my mask. Sadly hers was bright red meaning she was nervous or something.

Life was a great class, I was taught about medicinal plant's. She gave this small heal not much different then the one I got other then it heals more inside then out. Say someone cracked a rib or has internal bleeding.

She was a great and welcoming teacher and did her best to help me learn.

I think I may go life if I have a skill for it.

They are so kind in there, quiet, always helping each other.

I walked out and these two boy's were fighting each other with words making me pause. One fire, they can be very confrontational and one Storm, again someone not good at holding back emotions.

I was not alone as that pink Myth girl slid up to me.

We shared a nod and just watched them as they got into a real fight.

That created a small circle of people as they beat each other down with there fists.

"A couple fighting boy's is down right sexy." She whispered to me making me smile.

"Maybe if they were not wearing thick dresses." I spoke back making her give a small noise.

"What, want them naked..." She made a noise. "Ya naked would be better."

I strangely chuckled but then things got serious as a large bolt of lightning came from the sky hitting the fire mage. He yelled and shot a large fireball at him making the circle back up wide when the life teacher came poring out to stop them.

I moved to walk away feeling overheated but she followed me as I sat on my bench.

"Thanks' to you I got a new spell." She shook her head. "That teacher is brutal." She sighed pulling out a home made sandwich. I just nodded. "You don't talk much."

"I never know what to say." I said back. I spotted Malorn down the road. "Around him I feel like I creep him out, nothing but a nervous wreck."

"You are into the Death assistant?" She chuckled. "Ya he is cute." As she eyed him over.

"I am not sure why I told you that." I said leaning back.

We watched some small black donned girl run up to him calling his name, he spun to great her with a smile. I did not think much of it until she started to confess her love to him making Katy choke on her food and I leaned forward startled.

"Your not alone I see." She laughed.

He seemed thrown and worried as he slowly turned her down, we watched it like a drama show as she ran off crying so much it was weird.

He watched her before he turned looking embarrassed and torn before he looked over at us making me give him a small wave. He rubbed his head with a blush and headed inside making Katy laugh again.

"At least he knows you exist."

"True." I looked at her food. "What are you eating?" I asked as it smelled horrible.

"Some old Tuna." I cringed but she did not see it thankfully, go mask. She looked at me sad and placed it on her legs. "I came here broke, not many ways to make money for a person with no real family to send money."

"They give me money." I spoke as she looked at me confused. "Come, Ill buy you real food." I stood up as she followed, she seemed so excited. "Ya, I am not meant to be here so they give me enough to live on." Why did I tell her that?

Maybe I feel comfertable around her, I peered at my ring it was shifting to yellow, that means confused?

Walking in the commons was filled with loud people today when some Storm guy ran passed us grabbing his hair. "This school is to hard!" I spotted his ring and it was black, Stressed.

"Look." She stopped moving and pointed, two Ice people kissing each other like crazy, almost like the world around them did not exist.

She could not stop laughing at the two almost looking like soon they may not have clothes and we headed to the my favorite place for lunch.

I pulled down my mask to eat, her eye's scanned my face confused before leaning over and knocking off my hood.

"Hey." I spoke sadly but did not care to much.

She was still leaning on the table as she looked me over, startled. "Why do you hide?" She whispered.

I shrugged. "I just like it, a fantasy style I always liked at home."

"Your hair is a pretty color." She was one to talk, hers was gorgeous.

I pulled on my long hair. "I have been thinking of cutting it, it is to much inside my hood. She nodded not looking away from me I felt so curious. "Are you into girls?" Why did I ask that?

She smiled coming back down to earth before she shoved a small snack ball in her mouth and leaned back in her chair. "I Just like who I like." I nodded when Nolan came walking in the place. I pulled my hood up and shifted low in my chair making her follow my eye's.

"You into that one as well?" She laughed but I shook my head.

"He is an ass." She laughed again. "Kind of a whore."

She agreed, she spends so long with him every day. "You seem different suddenly."

"I noticed." I spoke back sliding my mask back up as he looked our way.

He paused next to the table and pointed at my food. "That looks good." I saw a ring on his finger, by the color he seemed unsure by something. I just looked up confused, why is he talking to us.

I looked at Katy who had the same expression on her face.

"Don't look at me like that, makes your face look ugly." He spoke to her.

I stood up fast about to fight him for insulting my friend starling me.

"Well loyalty is nice but you both need more power to take me on even with the two of you." He looked down on me. "The only thing you can do is make me stronger." He seemed annoyed for some reason.

He looked around as his mouth frowned, it was hard to see his eye's but it was obvious with his body langue as he stepped backwards as confused as us. He just walked away not even getting food, I watched him rub the back of his neck not looking back.

"That was, more of an ass then normal." She spoke sadly.

"Don't listen, you have a cute face no matter what your doing." She smiled at me kindly.

I stood in front of a dummy on a training ground. There was two other people in this large room.

I tried to get the bugs to work, my only attack spell.

I spotted the life wizard looking me over again and again as I did nothing.

"Your so covered." The ice wiz looked our way slightly when she spoke to me. "So your balance?" I nodded at her. "That is so rare I am jealous." She looked down. "See even my ring knows." Another ring huh? "I however think you should just go, you have been standing there for ten minutes doing nothing." I was taken back. "You have no skill obviously and should just give up."

"That was rude." The ice yelled at her as he shot a large ice wall between us, he looked at me kindly. "Keep trying."

"Thanks'." I almost laughed and he nodded at me with this cute smile glad to be cut from her for just a moment. People are really talking their mind today. I peered at my ring, I was embarrassed? It knows me better then I do.

I finally got it to work I was so excited I could not hold it back and I made a weird squeal noise I never made before.

I did it.

I just walked off, a small nod to the Ice wizard and headed home.

Come morning today was checking out Myth. I dreaded it, I almost did not even want to go. That fact made me lay in bed naked as I held my robe in my hand. I could not even force myself to get up.

It was weird.

I thought of having class with Katy and it finally got me on my feet.

The whole area was empty, very few people heading to class and I was just as confused as I walked in late and there was only three people in here including Nolan.

He looked at me. "Sit in the back." Making the others look at me and I felt a little pissed as to why. "Professor drake see's you and you may be kicked out."

Oh.

He rubbed his neck again.

That was weird, it was kind of nice.

"Take off your mask and hood." A boy spoke to me as all three stared my way. "He wont know then." He laughed with a dickish tone, I think he was making fun of me.

"She probably is too ugly." Nolan spoke before he stepped back as the two laughed. "Why did I say that?"

"But at least I am not some playboy using my higher status to pick up chicks from other classes." I said back. "Why did I say that?" I almost whispered.

"Your just mad I get some." He leaned on the front table as the other two boy's laughed looking down on me. "Something you can not do."

That was when the door opened in walked the ass king. He looked around.

"Where is everyone?" I was lost as well, where is Katy.

Well he easily saw me and kicked me out. Nolan was right. He hates me but I never wanted Myth anyway, I just needed to learn something anything, a small something from each class so I can do what balance does.

Mix them together.

I stopped at the Dorms wondering about Katy. I never had a real friend here yet, I have no idea how to get to their rooms, only mine.

I just strolled back to my bench.

"There she is." I heard looking back at that life girl from the training area.

"Your right, she looks weird." They laughed knowing I could hear them as they talked shit about me. I was getting so angry.

"I guess not all life is caring." I Stood up. I was ready to get into a fist fight with three wizards. I could not stop myself my anger so thick inside me. The knowledge that this was stupid was in my head but I could not hear it.

The main bitch stepped forward glaring at my masked face as I squeezed my fists together hanging on the side of my body and I was hurt by my ring making me look at it.

I was very angry and that was strange for me.

"You should not be here, this is a school that is hard to get in and you just walk in with no skill." She lifted her wand at me.

I was so angry I hated it but I could not stop myself as I stepped forward ready to bash her in her face. Her eye's shifted behind me and I watched her face drain as she looked almost heartbroken when a hand pressed to my shoulder.

There was Nolan for some reason as she eyed him over looking like she was going to cry and my anger switched to confusion so fast as I looked at him.

"Your just mad she has an ability you could never think to have." Is he, sticking up for me as I looked at the ring while he slid his hand into his pocket.

"The ring's." I spoke softly and looked at there hands, again they all had one as I pulled it slowly off my hand and looked at it. I started to feel better, almost like I could control myself again.

She got angry and pointed the wand back at me in a different type of anger. "Your going down bitch."

"She is weak like you said, you are taking advantage of a..." He stopped talking as I pulled out his hand and slowly pulled off his ring as he let me. "I dated her for two day's, I guess she hates me." He said so quietly I almost did not hear.

"Hate or hurt, close feelings." I mumbled.

"What are you whispering about?" Her friend spoke.

He stared as I held his ring like he understood what I just did.

"Ha, she is just another toy." She almost was crying and pissed at the same time as her friends laughed. "Not worth it." And they walked off. "Enjoy my sloppy seconds."

We just stood there as he took it carefully from my hand.

"You know, I almost could not get out of bed to come here."

"It makes sense." He held it over my head letting the sun hit it. "I umm." He spoke not wanting to.

"I will talk to the Headmaster, these need to be banned." I said so quietly to stop some form of apologies that might not even be coming and I walked off. He however ran up next to me.

"Ill come."

We walked into the commons. "Cheat on me." Some girl yelled. "Oh you are in trouble." as she stuck her staff at some guy. My eye's grew in fear when Nolan was suddenly at her taking the staff from her hands.

She started to scream and cry at him as I slid up and tore it off her hand. She started to calm down looking a little lost.

It was easy to see everyone with one did every single emotion that passed through them.

Thanks To Nolan being next to me the headmaster did not doubt for a second. He made everyone hand them over, most fought with him not seeing the damage they will cause.

How many people broke up during this was comical but I guess even more got together.

We just split without a word.

I think I needed to apologize but I could not get a word out, like normal.

It was nice to have control again.
