My hair was pissing my off as it was down my back and in my face on this hot as fuck day, the damn salon in town was so expensive so I chopped my hair off in my bathroom. Just above my shoulders.

I was not the best but it was not horrible being just shy of my shoulders.

It is not like people see it anyway.

Today is death school.

I was excited to take a class with Malorn.

The small crush on this guy was weird. I had been so long since I had one. He was just nice to me, talked to me and that smile was so cute. I did not want to do anything about it in everyway but it was nice to feel it.

After I will skip fire and go to Ice, then Storm and then figure it all out.

The biggest issue is this is not a starting school. Most people know the basics before coming here as it takes strong grades to get in. Most learn as they grow from family or smaller schools in there home worlds.

So the fact I am the biggest noob was not good for me even if I am in the lowest level of the school I was far behind.

I walked in early as I peered in the room, I found the second Professor drake as he smiled at his pretty wife. They did not notice me but it looked sweet and I did not want to bother them so I shut the door quietly and headed to my bench.

Malorn and I sat at the back of the class in the quiet as Drake taught. "So, when you think of death what do you see."

"Honestly, Vampires or one shot death spells."

"Death is a scary class, we can not one shot kill but we use shadows, we can also control all that goes bump in the night, like, vampires."

"Wait you have vampires?" I leaned in as we were just whispering. He nodded confused like it was known.

"It's just this is a human school."

I never felt so excited, I was in love with the show buffy growing up before twilight I had such a love affair inside my mind with them. "What are they like?"

"They are dangerous for us but that is why we made sure to find a way to control them."

"Cool." I guess I did not know Death as much as I thought I did.

"I want to teach you one of the lowest forms." I was so happy just to be here, actually speaking to him.

"Sweet."

"You know, you have a nice voice, I never heard it before." He smiled at me. I was taken back again I had nothing to say making him shake his head and chuckle.

"This is not much." He handed me a card. I nodded and pushed mana into it as it vanished and became a spell. I pressed my chest to look at it. "All it does is knock out a small light, or turn on a small light. Sometimes we need light to make shadows and others we need darkness."

"So cool."

He spent the school day with me, talking to me, helping me. He told me of some higher spells but using just one is a goal. I hope I can, I prefer the two nature sections over the three elemental.

He was a cool, calm, kind man.

I do love a man in black even of the outfit was terrible. I mean that hat, what is with that fucking hat.

Katy came from nowhere and pulled me into her dorm. "There is a myth only party and I need a friend as she started digging into her chest. "Nolan is there so he can not know your not Myth but you are coming with me."

I looked at her confused before I thought about.

"And what goes on at these party's."

Now she looked confused. "Well, a party, idiot." She tossed a dark blue dress at me. "Drinking, weed, dancing." She smiled at me. "Most are graduated from Ravenwood and learn in Cyclops Lane so at your age you will blend right in."

I looked at it.

I have not been at a party in way to long and I did not know they even had alcohol here and I could use a drink.

I watched her pull off her robe and slid on this really pretty and tight yellow dress, she then grabbed some low heals and tossed me some black ones. "Take it all off." She smiled before walking to her bathroom.

From here she pulled out some large box and then some makeup.

I have nothing girly here sadly, I came with nothing.

I did want to go so I slowly got dressed. Due to being slightly thicker and more curvy then her the dress was embarrassingly short, I sighed but then let it go not caring.

She just stared at me making me feel nervous. Her eye's moving all over my body.

"Well he really wont recognize you now." I just smiled making her grab her chest. "Right to my heart. Let's go, your name will be.." She smiled with a small tint in her eye's. "Myth myth."

My face twisted in confusion making her smile again.

"That is a little on the nose don't you think." I smiled making her smile.

"Who care's." She jumped up. "Let's go get wasted."

Stepping into Myth tower confused me when we appeared on a different floor then last time. It was a large home like place, a living room to the left a small dart board on the right and a kitchen filled with alcohol and a large dining room table.

A common room for Myth only student's. How cool.

I followed her around the party like a puppy as we drank when the couch opened up and I flopped down feeling like the most boring person as she sat next to me. Looking around she was right I blend right in. I did spot that guy who told me to take off my mask in myth during the ring fiasco with a few others that I think came from that class.

"Katy." He walked over making me hold back a sigh. "Who is your friend?" He smiled at me like he was flirting and I felt wrong as I dislike this guy. "I bet Cyclops Lane. Ya?" She glanced at me and I just nodded. "Ya they get all the hot girls."

"Hey." She yelled. "What I am not hot?"

He stuttered. "Well, you are but you ...you." He spun and walked away and I was glad to see him go making her chuckle.

"Myth is filled with dicks, I mean what is it?" I spoke.

"You don't like myth?" I felt like insulted her culture or something but she just smiled. She leaned back and took a large drink. "Honestly, it is what I can do, all I can do but I don't like it either." She looked around and leaned in "I have no where to go and not having love for my craft, well, I don't try hard enough to really get through it, just waiting for something, some spell I enjoy."

She was handed a joint by someone not far off and she took a puff before handing it to me. I paused it has been years before I took one long hit and handed back to the strange man.

"I do belong, I am also an ass." She laughed. "I am everything a myth student is, it's almost sad." I just laughed and finished my drink as I stood up and we got another and headed to an open dart board.

"Nolan, come on, let me stay." I walked towards Katy from the bathroom.

"You and the three other's should not be here." I saw the dick again peering around some older guy staring at Nolan trying to avoid him.

"Come on it's a big party let them stay, no one cares." I spoke up a little tipsy making him look at me as I walked to her.

"Who are you?" He glared at me.

"No one." Katy spoke up. "Just..." She looked lost.

"Myth myth." I smiled at the joke sticking my hand out making the stoned Katy start to laugh her head off almost falling over as we both looked at her like it was just too much, he never reached for mine so I let my hand fall.

"Let them stay." I tried to act like I belonged here, Katy was standing up hiding her face in her hands. She was pretty high and drunk.

"Well I guess I could." He looked me over. "I think I know you, were you in my class?"

The young ass came forward. "Let us stay." He jumped around.

"It's your job to make sure they don't die." And he walked away.

"Genius." She whispered chuckling. He acted like I was not just one year older then these two.

We just drank and danced and it was fun.

"Okay the rules are, you get asked a question, you answer or take a shot." Some almost frat boy like man yelled as he placed many shots on the table. "Who is in?"

Katy pulled me over along with Wolf, yes that was weirdly the name of the guy that is now following us around, she sure makes friends with ease, a reason I love her. There was four others who took a seat at the table I did not know in the overly loud room.

Nolan came and sat down, his hood tilted towards us but for some reason it was even harder to see his face.

After five questions to people I did not know and not even looking our way I stepped up to refill my drink from a keg before sitting back down.

"Okay you, blue." I looked up. "You look thirsty." This stranger looked at me as he leaned back and stared looking for a question as he squinted at me. "What is your most used spell."

I just grabbed a shot and drank it.

"Oh someone is wanting to get drunk." A girl laughed. "Such a simple question." She looked at him. "It was horrible." He frowned.

To me, it was a hard one.

I guess it was my turn and I looked around the table.

"Nolan." His head moved up. "Did you become an assistant just to sleep with girls?"

"Ooo." The female from before yelled.

I saw his mouth crack into a sneer as everyone looked his way.

He was quiet as I saw his hand move to a shot but he paused.

"No, I like teaching." I was thrown. "It is nice to see someone do something they never thought they could and if I can help, well." He looked down before he looked back at me.

"You." He said right to me.

"Aw come on let someone that has not gone go." Katy spoke a little annoyed. I nodded at her in agreement.

"How many times a day do you think about quitting school and becoming a stripper?" I just started to laugh as the others chuckled. I leaned forward trying to stop, I saw his mouth turn into a small smile.

I was too high and that was too funny.

"All day, maybe you can teach me some moves as I am sure your in one a lot." I liked that small smile on his face as I passed it on to Katy and once it got back around to the others it never left as these people knew each other making the three of us get up and get shots we could drink.

I made sure a stumbling Wolf got home before I got a sleepy Katy home and I just sat on the dorm steps enjoying the cool nights breeze. I stared at the sky connecting stars I wished I knew, missing the ones from home.

"So they home?" Nolan asked startling me as I looked over at him. I nodded. He almost started to move then stopped and looked back at me. "Need a walk home?" I looked up confused as I was sitting on the steps. "Your from Cyclops Lane right?"

I was speechless.

Umm I am in no way walking that far for no reason.

"Why was the party here when everyone lives so far away?"

He made a weird noise. "You been around, it is myth only, keeps out the stragglers." He looked at the dark cloudy sky I could almost see his eye's. "First time at a Myth only party?"

I nodded my head.

"I know I don't know you." I looked up at him. "But you seem so familiar."

I was so ready to pass out but he needed to turn away so I can go inside the new wizard dorms or I might be caught.

"You almost seem like a person with a personality." I spoke, I was so out of it.

"So you know me but I don't know you?"

"Seems to be that way." I leaned back on the wooden door.

He stepped forward and stood in front of me.

"Truth, were you in my class?"

Not sure what class he was talking about as I think there is at least three he could be talking about.

"Many time's." I told the truth and looked back at him. "Dare." He looked down on me with his dark face. "Take off your hood."

"If you were in my class you have seen me without it."

Oh trying to catch me up in my words huh? Does he suspect something but he thinks I am some form of Myth.

"Ya, whatever." As I tried to stand, I almost did not care if he saw me walk into my dorm now I needed to sleep.

I dug around in the left side of my bra looking for my card when he pulled down his hood and I was shocked. "Oh damn." He gave this cute cocky smile. "Your blonde?" I said. He was so cute, what the fuck. "How are you cute?"

"You see me with the women, of course I'm cute." His light grayish blue eye's were filled with humor I was so taken back.

"The colors really don't flatter you." I dug around in my right boob this time.

"What are you doing?" I looked at him as he stared right at my breasts making me smile his eye's scanning my face when I found it and pulled it out.

"Was afraid I lost this." I yawned and opened the door making him step forward again.

"Your not from Cyclops Lane?"

I looked back with a small smile and shook my head before walking into the void.

I had a small hangover as I sat quietly in ice class, wishing to wear less clothes as it was a very hot day when a gust of cold wind hit me making me feel better. Some Ice girl was blowing cold wind out of her hands in the room making people cheer from the heat.

Personal AC. Damn that's cool.

I was so out of it I was not following well but I never been here before and never knew how much Ice is fucking amazing, Beautiful, I watched this dark haired boy craft a small ice rose in his hands.

It was shocking to me how much I liked this.

The teacher was small and floated in the air a few feet above the ground, she looked like a normal grandma that was always in the kitchen to me. Once she got them on an assignment she came to talk to me.

She gave me a small card as I peered at it.

It was a small ability to make it snow. Just a party trick spell.

"I was told to give you something simple." I took it and absorbed it. "Okay let's try." First one to make me try it with them in the room. I pointed my wand at the ceiling and focused, a few small bit's of snow started to fall making the room look up and try to grab them.

They were friendly in here.

"Push harder." So I did and it started to really snow people sticking there tongues out eating my mana. "You have a affinity for it." She walked to her desk and started to mess around. She then walked back. "Most balance do favor the elemental." She handed me another card. "No clue why."

I took the spell before pressing my chest and looking at it.

It was a small wave of ice at my feet where if used right can freeze a person in their tracks.

"It is helpful in a strong weapons battle to get some space to cast a real spell." I nodded staring at it interested. "I am sorry." She leaned in making me look back at her. "What are you staring at?" She looked over where my eye's were looking as I read about it.

"The spell." I pointed confused.

"What do you mean?" She looked away, I suddenly felt nervous, is this not normal? I did not know what to say and I spotted two people looking our way I was scared to say anything else.

"I need to try this out." I stood up and she nodded.

"Not in class, not enough space." She walked off. "Come in here anytime and I can help if ice is part of your future." I gave a nod and walked out the door in a panic.

I leaned on the fence I love to sit by, staring into the bright sky void as I pulled down my mask just to breath, I felt suffocated.

I now have questions and unsure who to put them on.

The headmaster maybe, he is kind and tries hard to make sure I am safe, got enough to eat and buy what I need but I am just a small weak earthling and I am afraid. What if that people here don't have that hologram page of spells and points and shit.

I pressed my chest and it popped back up as I really looked at it.

It was so video game.

My health was better now that I have gained a few levels, I am level five right now even if I have done shit all.

I have one point now as of today.

I had none before so why do I have points if I can not use them on spells. What are they for?

I noticed I now have a few achievement's making me scroll through them. The lowest was become a balance wizard.

I am not one yet?

"You okay?" I heard Malorn startling me making me look his way and smile glad to see him. His head cocked to the side and smiled back at me. "What a nice smile." I reached up and pulled my mask over my face. "Why wear that?"

"Long story." I spoke walking towards him as I pressed my chest to make the hologram vanish from my eyesight.

"You seem sad or confused." He looked down. "To bad the rings were toxic, they were useful."

"Ya, thing knew my emotions before I did." I joked.

"You seem to be coming out of your shell lately." I just nodded making him laugh. "Come, we are playing a game."
