-Chapter 6: Unforseen Consequences at the USJ; A Terrible Power Awakens-
Class 1A enters the facility, looking around in wonder at all the various scenarios that are portrayed here! And at the center of it all, was a small Hero in an astronaut outfit simply called "Thirteen" handling the announcements. Uraraka herself was starstruck, as Thirteen was her absolute favorite Hero!
"Hello, class! Today, we'll be talking and demonstrating about using your Quirks to save lives! Because while we often see Heroes fighting Villains, it's more likely that Heroes will try to rescue trapped civilians when they are in danger as portrayed in these simulations! That is why this place is called the Unforseen Simulation Joint, the USJ!" Thirteen started out.
"The same Thirteen whose famous for being a premiere Rescue Hero!" Midoriya geeked out. While Aizawa wanted to glare, the astronaut placed their hand in front of Aizawa, settling him down.
"The very same, Midoriya! My Quirk, Black Hole, allows me to disintegrate anything by focusing on an object with my finger. It is, however, extremely dangerous, as it can seriously harm innocents! But, with enough Hero Training, even a Quirk as dangerous as mine or as combat-heavy as many of the teacher's Quirks can be used to save lives! With my piece said, the class will now commence!" As Thirteen finished their speech, the electricity went out, as a dark void opens up in the courtyard.
"Indeed, let the class commence!" a voice called out, a hand climbing out followed by a lanky man with a hand covering his face, eyes shooting a fierce red glare.
Aizawa and 13's face lit up with alertness, the students sans Goku feeling fearful of the portal and its inhabitants as they slowly got out of the portal. The two teachers immediately assumed defensive stances.
"Class, this is not a drill. These guys are actual villains. Huddle together, Thirteen, protect the students!" Aizawa commanded, springing forth with life as he changes into his battle outfit. Goku finally remembers him! He was the one Hero who almost actually caught him when he was a vigilante! No wonder why he felt his spine chilled by that red stare…
"Students! Behind me, now!" Thirteen backs up to the student mass.
"Hey, where's All Might? He was supposed to be here, not this scrawny bug!" A villain yelled, Aizawa's fears were confirmed: Someone has indeed infiltrated UA.
"I wonder if he'll come here faster if we slaughter these students?" Another villain yelled. Aizawa was internally in full-crisis mode upon this comment, the students' fear deepening while Goku felt lightly nervous on hearing the death threat. However, beyond that, he felt the need to protect his peers, determined they will not be harmed by that Villain and his portable Clown Car of an assistant.
"Thirteen, we need to evacuate the students immediately! I'll handle these villains!" Aizawa commands.
"I want to help you, Mr. Aizawa!" Goku says, trying to move but is blocked by Thirteen.
"No Goku! It's too dangerous! Get back, warn the others!" Aizawa snapped back, putting Goku in his place, as he leaps into action. As the students tried to evacuate, they are stopped by the black mist figure. It was Kurogiri blocking the way. "We are the League of Villains, and our goal is to kill All Might, the Symbol of Peace. I apologize for our intrusion, but we will not hold back even if you're just students," Kurogiri said, as he used his Quirk to teleport everyone randomly; only a few kids remained at the entranceway. There was a dome, screaming, then darkness, before it gave way to light.
Goku finds himself close to Ojiro. They band together when they see a gaggle of minor Villains approaching them.
"We'll cut you kids down!" one of them taunted."You ain't so tough!" another said, he leads the circle as it closes in on the two.
Ojiro's fear melted into a focused determination, while Goku glared around, the nervousness having easily been blown away, the two students assumed fighting poses. The villains come in, attacking like a swarm of locusts. However, their martial arts are proving difficult for these hooligans to break through. Where Ojiro is vulnerable, Goku's able to cover with his lightning speed and immense power. Where Goku focuses on one, Ojiro's massive tail stops the group from overwhelming them. The figurative dance ends with the two surrounded by a small army of knocked out minor villains in a decisive victory. These Villains were no different than the ones he faced when he was Kid Kong, Goku had thought.
"Hey, thanks for the help, Goku!" Ojiro said, panting a little.
"That's what Heroes are for, Ojiro!" Goku replied in kind, also lightly panting, paling when he spotted Aizawa being surrounded by Villains. "I need to help Aizawa! I'm going to the Central Plaza!"
"Goku, he's a Pro, and as much as I'd love to help him myself, what we need to do is return to the exit and get help. We can still help him while allowing ourselves to escape that way!" Ojiro replied.
"I know you're right..." Goku said dejectively. The two proceed to get out of the Fire Zone and come towards the central arena.
Aizawa is fighting the ringleader, Tomura Shigaraki, He is handling him well, but Goku detours from their route when he sees an absolute massive Villain attempting to attack his teacher from behind, Ojiro looking in horror at his partner. Landing a massive jump kick to the beast's head, Shigaraki turned with shock as he sees this wannabe Hero attacking his main muscle and sending him skidding back, while it squawks in confusion as it looks around for what kicked it, before laying its eyes on the bold kid who kicked it. Ojiro had thankfully been able to regroup, helping the Entrance group in allowing Tenya to escape.
"Don't attack my Nomu! He's meant for the final boss, not a rank and file mook Hero like yourself!" The Villain said in disgust. Does this kid seriously have a death wish? He'll be more than willing to grant it.
"Goku...! Get out!" Aizawa yells, exhausted but still fighting Shigaraki.
The Nomu roars and attacks Goku. He blocks, but was still sent flying, knocked down by the heavy punch, as Izuku, Tsuyu, and Mineta are watching in horror from their hiding spot. However, that horror melts to shock as Goku gets up without any hesitation or even pain, eyeballing the Nomu.
"If you are able to fight despite being overwhelmed, Mr. Aizawa, then I will fight, too." Goku says, his gi getting tattered as he yells, the fighting spirit roaring to life in his blood.
"Hmm, if that's the case... Nomu, attack that boy over there and end his game! Then, show his body to All Might." Shigaraki smiled psychotically.
"Young Master, a student had escaped. We're now on a strict time limit..." Kurogiri said, and while the main Villain grimaced, he simply looked at Nomu, expecting he'll finish the job before those pesky UA Staff comes in.
The fight between Goku and the Nomu goes underway, as Goku is able to outmaneuver and attacks the Nomu, taking it down a notch before Kurogiri teleports one of Goku's fist elsewhere, throwing off his balance.
This was the opening that the beast wanted, as the monstrous thing landed a critical blow on the Saiyan's chest and he fell, embedded in the ground. The Nomu lands blow after blow on the teen, the world is silent as Goku feels his life ebbing out of his mouth and the earth rumbled, he can barely even hear the yelling of anybody, but before it can land the fatal blow on the downed Saiyan, it was sent flying by All Might! As the Symbol of Peace looks to the beaten Goku, his is relieved to see he's still breathing, his eyes darting towards the Nomu and lighting up bright blue in a fierce rage.
"You can rest, Young Goku... For I am here!" All Might announced, before he engaged the Nomu in combat.
"Goddamn it! That pesky Symbol's here... This is Game Over, Kurogiri. Ready evac in a few minutes, but not before I kill at least one brat, I can't come back to Sensei with a 0 K:D ratio," Shigaraki spoke.
"Of course, Young Master. There's a girl hiding nearby. She'll be your lamb that All Might could not save," Kurogiri confirmed.
"Excellent...!" the Villain was cackling, the portal opens up, Tsuyu was stunned, this portal came out of nowhere, close to where they were hiding! "Time for you to be lamb chops, child!" He yelled. He actually got three fingers on the frog's face, before his wrist was wrenched away. "Noooo! GODDAMN IT!" The Villain hissed, his wrist seriously stung, and in front of him, was Aizawa. Tired, yet with the fury of a thousand suns in his eyes, he is ready to fight despite the injuries on his body.
"You will not touch my students with your rotten fingers!" Aizawa shouted in defiance, restarting his fight against Shigaraki.
Not too far away from the battle, Goku was coming to, half-conscious from the Nomu reckoning as he gets up very slowly from the Goku-shaped crater in the floor. However, what he sees is now his teacher being choked out by Shigaraki, intent on trying to get him to close his eyes, to Decay him. And not too far away, he sees an injured Midoriya and Todoroki barely saving All Might from being chopped in half by Kurogiri's portal. This moment sparked a terrible maelstrom of rage and energy within the beaten Saiyan. It was as if time slowed down, his fury bubbling over into an eruption, yelling his lungs out as the earth rumbled, an explosion of energy bursting forth with gusts of winds, his tail twitching wildly. Shigaraki notices the boy, an otherworldly yellow aura surrounding his body like a massive fire, his gi and undershirt torn asunder to show off his upper body muscles, small rocks floating all around him, his veins visible as he looks with a furious grimace that would send chills down anyone's spine, especially with blood dripping down his face on the right, a very slight yellow iris appears surrounding his pupils. Shigaraki, convinced that the boy was broken as he looked kinda zombie-like in his stance, didn't see it that way as his grip on Aizawa's neck loosened by this distraction. If it were any other student, they'd be incapacitated, if not outright dead. However, Goku isn't just any other student…
"Please... You're up again? My dear child, you must realize that you're at least fifteen levels below all of us! You are nothing more than just a morsel for Nomu to eat..." Shigaraki said in a hushy tone, as if he's speaking with a misbehaving baby, Goku's fist clenching tightly, teeth clenching in rage, his stance righted back into fighting shape, he has had enough of this coward.
"SHUT UP!" Goku roared, the shockwave of his voice reverberating throughout the dome, getting up close to Shigaraki within the blink of an eye and gut punching the scrawny villain before sending him far away from Aizawa into the rocky wall with a jaw punch.
Shigaraki, now partially buried in the rocks, twitches in excrusiating pain and becomes furious, while Aizawa looked at his student with shock, even a tinge of fear at the raw power he feels emanating from his student. This didn't feel like the Goku he tested at the beginning of the year, it felt more like a primal force of nature made manifest taking his form! He lets out an awful aura with his roar, which sounds like a human yell punctured with a booming gorilla-like roar, his energy exploding into a violent fire around his body. Within the entirety of the USJ, every minor Villain still active, outside of Shigaraki, Kurogiri, and the Nomu, felt an overwhelming dread. The USJ dome sounded like Hell, complete with a wail of tortured souls as many had lost all reasoning in the roar-induced panic. His classmates, teachers, and the main villains sans Nomu felt unnerved when they felt Goku's aura.
"No! T-This is impossible! Just a moment ago, you were dying! You had your body broken by my Nomu's punches! A-And yet you came back, stronger than ever?! HACKS! I CALL HACKS! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LEVELED UP AFTER YOUR ASS WAS BEATEN RAW, YOU GODMODDING PIECE OF CRAP!" Shigaraki shouting in fury, shaking from fear and the immense pain, as Kurogiri returns to his side.
"Young Master, it's much too dangerous to stay around here any longer. We need to retreat, now."
As Goku saw All Might was ready to engage in a punch off with the giant beast again, he came in to help, punching the abomination right in the face to draw its attention, causing it to squawk in confusion before roaring at the boy, who replies back with another awful roar. This act shocks All Might, as Goku just starts to work his fury out on the giant thing; it tries to punch back, only for Goku to effortlessly move it out of the way, his fists now coated in a yellow aura as it lands its hits, squawks turning into pained yelps. Even Shigaraki trying to use Midoriya as a last-ditch meatshield failed, as Goku, almost as if he already knew how to do it, simply threw a blue sphere of energy from his hand as if it was second nature, singeing the scrawny Villain's arm and causing him to howl in pain again.
"What the- Young Goku, I have him under control! Run!" All Might pleaded.
But Goku wasn't responding, his fury hitting a peak fever as the behemoth isn't able to land any blows on the young boy, roaring in primal rage and shaking the building as his barrage only got faster and more intense, All Might soon reluctantly weaving his punches in sync with Goku. The two's forces in their punches wear down on Nomu faster, the young blood-lusted Saiyan keeping up, even surpassing All Might's own righteous fury, before the two launch their final punch. A Beyond 100% Smash and a devastating punch, the cloud turning into a dragon that takes Nomu away, banished about ten kilometers away.
After that, darkness, as the raging Great Ape that had fueled his fury as dissipated, and Goku fell to the ground unconscious, the final groan punctuated as the gorilla-like groan gave way to the purely human groan. His body emitted steam, the intense heat of Goku's movement finally allowed to escape his body. For what felt like hours, there was nothing. Until he woke up, right as he saw the Heroes near the USJ exit, with Tenya leading them, the students and more importantly, his teachers, are safe. However, he saw Thirteen had their entire back seemingly decayed. And he was helpless to stop the Villains, which at this point was just Shigaraki and Kurogiri, were long gone after the Nomu was sent far away. Soon, his eyes locked on Midoriya, who was looking at him with extreme concern.
"G-Goku...?" Midoriya said. His voice was shaking, and his left arm was purple.
"Ugh... Ow... M-Midoriya...!" Goku replied. He slowly got up, holding his arm that he punched the Nomu with his prototype Dragon Fist. It was still normal, but it burns if he tries to lift his hand any higher than his chest. "A... are they safe...?" He asked, while he knew that they're safe, he's wondering about All Might, but most of all about Aizawa.
"They are, Goku. B-but are you okay...? It looked like you had blacked out when you got up, and you fought with a ferociousness that All Might couldn't get you to stop fighting that Nomu! The yelling and roaring was so powerful, it melted the will of any remaining Villains aside from Shigaraki and the Nomu!" Midoriya commented, his voice a bit fearful, yet with some pride in it.
"R... Right. I felt an anger, a rage boil over me... I-I couldn't watch Aizawa or All Might die. But then, I saw a face of myself... morphing into a monster. And I blanked out after that...!" Goku remarked, a couple Pro Heroes bring a stretcher-bound Aizawa to the Saiyan.
"Son Goku... All Might and I... want a word with you..." Aizawa said, on a stretcher as he was still heavily injured during his fight with Shigaraki.
Goku feels discouraged, as he knows it's a reprimand. But he feels calm. His friends are okay, there were no dead casualties on UA's side, and much of the Villains were headed to jail. However, he was soon forced on a stretcher, his chest needing to be treated.
Some time later, when Aizawa and Goku was recovered enough to have a meeting with his student. The Saiyan, miraculously, had gotten away with just a couple of chest pads and a wrapping of gauze where those pads are located, his head having already healed up well enough it required no head wraps.
"Young Goku, sit down." All Might, or rather, Toshinori Yagi said, as he and Aizawa sat, though for Aizawa is more that he was upright in his stretcher bed, on the opposite end of the table. Goku did as he told and sat in the chair, distressed having to see All Might in that withered state. While Toshinori wouldn't have wanted Goku to see him in this skinny form, he wants to squash that berserk bug right now before this young Hero-to-be dies for nothing.
"Son Goku, what you did at the USJ was beyond irrational. It was flat out suicidal. You really could have died that day," Aizawa's red eyes pierced Goku's soul, his voice dripping with venom.
"And what of your family, Son Gohan and Son Mikai? What would they have to think if they heard news that their child was killed by Villains?" All Might's blue eyes chilled Goku's bones, with his voice causing Goku to feel great shame.
"I... I'm sorry. I thought I was helping... You were both being beaten by the Villains, and I cannot stand to watch either of you die..." he said, head bowed down in shame. The two teachers sighed.
"I will not forget what I've said, Goku. However, I will also not forget that you've saved my life, and that you've helped your students and All Might, too. You will not be expelled today, but you need to control yourself," Aizawa said firmly.
"For your own safety, Young Goku. Principal Nezu has set up a meeting with you, and I think it's imperative you take it. However, I would lie if I said I didn't need your help. I owe you a great deal with that Nomu. Regardless, as Aizawa-sensei said, I want you to control yourself so you won't needlessly sacrifice yourself," All Might replies. Goku nodded in silent agreement.
"Will it be okay if I take that meeting tomorrow?" He asked, the two teachers looking at each other before nodding.
"That's the most rational choice you've made today, Goku." Aizawa dryly replied. "However, All Might will need to call for me, since I can't move."
"Don't worry about it, Aizawa. I have it covered. Get some rest," his partner spoke, he nods as the phone buzzed.

AN: Goku's Berserk Form is a dead ringer for Broly's Ikari form, though at this point in the story it's closer to a Pseudo-Ikari Form, only allowing a fraction of Ikari/Great Ape Power. Complete with an unstable lust to destroy whatever enemies he's facing and the almost complete reduction of his lexicon to the most basic words, screams, and angry roars. It's handicap is that it takes a lot out of Goku to use the form, both in mentality and stamina in exchange for boosted power and speed. I just like the words "Berserk" and "Berserker" because of Yu-gi-oh and the Berserker Soul scene, where Yami Yugi overkills Weevil Underwood/Inspector Haga.
