I spent all day and did nothing but fail in making a spell.

Sadly all new spells are to advanced for me, if I get it to work my mana gets drained fast.

I dropped to the ground with a large breath and just laid on my back staring at the clear overly hot sky. I seem to have come to a wall, checking my heart page it flickered scaring me before it was clear. Level twelve.

I still only had one talent point.

I don't understand this stupid thing.

I heard a loud noise making me sit up and peer to my left.

There was a banshee flying at me when it started to scream, my ears were in so much pain feeling like it was about to blow my ear drums. I pulled out sooth and let it slowly knock her down as she moved slower and screamed less.

She fell to the ground and slowly disappeared.

I grabbed my ears, they were ringing so bad I could not hear anything.

There was a tap on my shoulder making me jump back scared and startled.

Malorn stood there.

I watched his mouth move as he looked at me worried and proud.

"I can't hear you." I spoke making him step back, smiled and said something. He looked at me in wait but I was so confused. He reached out for my hand and nodded at me to follow.

I watched him pull out some paper as we strolled, my ears not getting better.

He paused on a wall and wrote something handing it to me.

"Sorry but good job, I was trying something out and she kind of got away from me." I looked up at that adorable smile and just nodded. He pulled it away and wrote again.

"Banshee screams fades within ten to thirty minutes if heard in low doses, up to you if you want to wait or go to the clinic."

I looked up at him as he waited.

The clinic is always packed and it may fade before I even get a doctor as this is not an emergency. The buzzing was lower but I still could not hear.

I walked over and wrote down. "I will wait." He looked at me like I was peculiar and laughed as he read it, my eyebrows raised confused but I don't think he could see it.

He laughed and wrote again.

"I am not the deaf one." I started to chuckle even if I can't hear it and nodded. Ya that was dumb.

He wanted to take me to eat for an apology and I was down for it.

The buzz was getting lower by the time our food came and he just wrote another thing. "How is it?"

"It is better." I said back making him look around and laugh as others looked my way. I slid my head to the table in embarrassment before sitting back up and slid his paper to me as he laughed making me wish I could hear his laugh.

"Too loud huh?" I wrote.

"Only for everyone else." He wrote back.

We had a light conversation as we ate just sliding the paper back and forth. It was a nice time and by the end the buzz was gone but my hearing was still bad, I could hear very little but since it was healing we split up, he had things to do.

I saw the note on the table as I tossed down a tip and I could not help but slid it into a pocket for the memory of this.

I stood behind Nolan in the long line to order breakfast and coffee. He did not face me but he faced between us, not cutting me out even if we did not speak.

He seems to like the same places as me, this was my favorite café.

We slowly moved forward.

A man walked passed us with his food, he was covered in piercing's and looked a little gothic with his gray hair and black outfit that actually looked cool and I was in love as I watched him take a seat. "Damn." I said softly.

"You like piercing's?"

"Ya, I even have some."

"Where?" I looked at him as he looked me over confused. "Show me."

"You trying to get me out of my clothes?"

"I really am." He joked back as his mouth turned up.

I just lightly chuckled.

"I don't think your boyfriend would approve of that guy."

I wanted to say what I have been feeling that, well, we are not together anymore and I am sure will never be again but I could not get it out.

"Ah a girl can look." I joked back sadly.

"Ya, looking can be fun." He smiled at me when the line opened and I shoved him awkwardly to order.

Katy dragged me to the Golam tower, the place was back to normal, all plant life from before gone besides the small outdoor plant store and teacher sat in the far corner beside the archway out.

She was the reason that whole thing happened and it was nice that even teachers can still learn and make mistakes.

I assume we are here for what she drags me around for, another fucking potion.

I looked around, we were in a safe spot from people, I had somewhere to sit down if I was sick.

No Nolan nearby.

I sighed as her large eye's watched me as I stuck out my hand without her speaking and she gave me this large smile and pulled out this bottle of gross looking green potion.

I looked at her in wait.

"You can talk to plants." She pointed at the plants.

"Well, that would be cool."

It tasted like it looked, disgusting like dirty plants mixed with mud and I almost could not keep it down.

I felt a weird feeling on my head, Katy stared up shocked. I felt whatever it was knock the hood off my head.

"What?" I reached up and I touched something making my hands move away in fear.

"What is on my head?!" She covered her mouth and laughed. I reached again as I felt three large objects. "Katy!"

She reached out slowly to touch them.

"Katy!"

I grabbed them tighter as I felt around and they started to feel like something I knew.

"Katy, the fuck did you give me, do I have mushrooms on my fucking head?" She nodded her hand not leaving her chuckling mouth. I froze scared. It did not hurt or anything but it was so creepy I shivered.

"Okay." I tried to calm down making her laugh harder. "Okay." I breathed in again. "Let's see if it at least worked." She nodded dropping her arm and biting her lip.

I walked around listening and it was true I could hear them or feel them inside me as she followed curious. They talked about where the sun was, how much water they wanted or did not want.

One yelled out 'bugs on me' making me look to the gardener.

"This guy needs help." She looked at me and at the plant. "And this one needs more water."

She stood up to deal with it with a smile. "A green thumb like me?" As she looked at the mushroom on my head confused.

Katy explained as I just sat down listening to them talk.

I really liked this, it was the feeling of peace through me, feeling the soft earth and grass, grass that did not like to be cut. She sighed at me as I looked up at her so peaceful.

"Well it works." I smiled. "And I love it."

I woke up to warning of the headmaster, I rolled on my back with a sigh.

Should I just stay inside this time?

Another something big is going on.

Got to say, this place is not boring.

I was going to stay here and sleep but curiosity got the better of me as I slid on a different outfit and opened the dorm door. There was a giant dust storm, I pulled my hood lower as the dirt was bugging my eye's and I could barely see.

A dark shadow moved passed me like it was flying startling me.

I looked down to barely see Bandit at my feet as he looked up at me.

"What are you doing." I opened the door. "Go inside." I yelled down at him as the wind was strong but he stared up at me not moving. "Please."

He did not go.

Something came flying at me as I made a shield and it bashed into it. I turned to this large moth that landed on it and walked around, I just stared with big eye's feeling creeped out.

I shot my bugs but they just made him fly off out of view.

"Okay, maybe this time I will just go back in." I said down to Bandit when I heard a scream. Rolling my eye's I picked up bandit and ran towards it. "Stay with me." I yelled to him.

I was glad to have a mask as I pulled my hood lower, the sand was brutal as I ran towards it, I stood there lost at where it came from and just looked around. I think I was by the life school?

"Duck." I heard a small I think male voice unsure where it was when I did. There something flew over my head, larger then the last, I raised my wand and stuck a bomb to it. It exploded with a weird noise and that was it.

Moths. They like light but how do I get light.

I came closer to the yelling women. I peered into the life classroom and could barely see but I could see better then outside.

Sand filling the corners.

I know the duck was not from her, where did it come from?

She was under a desk and surrounded by chairs as this large gray moth was trying to get at her. I shoved my bugs into it but it barely hurt as It turned to me. I ran behind some desks and shot him again, bandit struggled in my arms and jumped out.

He started to flap its wings and head my way when a large green light fell from the sky, it bashed into him also barely hurting him but making him look at her still hidden under the desk.

I made a shield as it also climbed on it and walked around it.

I gave her a mana boost seeing her magic was low and then a damage boost before I sent more bugs. It is to small in here for my only other attack. She smiled at me and looked like she was breathing, a small glow on the end of her staff.

Branches came from the ground, some moving up the walls but most heading to him, they wrapped around the large moth making me smile as it started to squeeze him, I just sent more bugs.

She then made this light glow around her and the vines turned into an Ent. Along with me and that man we got the large bug down.

"Thanks', I was out of mana." I smiled and we headed out to help others, I would look down but Bandit stayed at my feet.

I moved with her as we worked down Ravenswood. Gathering more the more we saved, the more moths we killed the less potent the storm. It was getting easier with all of us, I was happy to be a real support at the back with the life as the elements took the front lines.

Once we cleared Ravenswood we went to help the commons.

We cleared a little between the school and the headmasters office as we peeled off, I headed up towards the faire and Golam court not alone but my mana was getting low.

Thankful for others as I tried to be a small help. The storm faded from this area once we took down the largest moth. I was done, there was more to do but I was out of mana.

I walked to the carousel with bandit in my arms to finally sit down, placing him at my feet I sat on a horse and just watched the now empty area. Why can't my mana boost work on me?

I was not there long when I heard the headmaster say it is all clear.

Never explained what caused it but I assume like the rest, learning wizards.

I looked down on Bandit as he seemed a little disturbed where he sat like he was scared, tense like a cat, his little feet hands gripping a small leg of a horse.

"Oh I am sorry buddy." I moved off a horse and picked him up lightly chuckling before I jumped off.

"Thank you." I heard this high pitched male voice in my head startling me as I looked down.

"Did you talk into my head?" He looked up at me like he was talking but I could not hear.

"Well, that is the least surprising thing to happen in this place." I placed him back on the ground and we just headed off.

"Are you from earth?" I looked down. He again looked up like he was talking. "Sorry, it is not working." He just looked forward as we walked back home.

This time I ducked in time as I noticed the stupid mailbox.

There was two notes.

One asking for a hooded cloak.

Like the one Nolan wears?

I never made one before.

So many from home fantasy games flashed in my head, I was excited to try.

The next was that Jay guy I completely forgot about, telling me to meet him and that this time I better.

"Okay." I tossed the note away as it vanished into the air. "I am done with your demanding ass! Did we not just get over a large issue and already treating me like I have nothing better to do."

Bandit just stared at me.

"Sorry, I am in a mood." He just moved to his bed and laid down.

I looked at my desk but I don't feel like making the cloak right now, I do want to try my hand at another damage spell. I need one.

I pressed my chest and I smiled. I am now level fourteen and for some reason, unsure why, I have a second talent point.

That means I have an extra so I can just mess around and not waste one.

I stood up putting my hood and mask back on, I feel so naked without them now.

"I am going to try and smash spells." Bandit stood up. "It may not be safe." I looked down on him but he walked up to me, stretching out on his back feet for me to pick him up and I did with love.

I sat in the empty training room as I looked through all my spells, weak or strong. What can I do?

I tried a few things but nothing connected.

I pointed as I stood in front of Bandit.

I know my favorite spell was my shields. I can move them around in cool and easy ways and use them the most.

I looked at my spells and searched one I have not tried to do, Death.

I had only three.

The light thing.

The sooth spell to knock out undead.

Then there was this one that creates a small shadow Illusion like something was there. Also more trick then an attack so I never really thought much of it.

I shot a shield a few feet in front of me with enough magic to make it as strong as I could and within the same mana push I tried the Illusion.

There was a boom of light and I tried to move forward but I had no feet.

I felt nothing and I started to panic when my feet hit the ground and the feeling of swirling ended.

I fell on my ass startled as I looked over at Bandit. He was standing there like a scared cat just staring at me with his back hunched.

"What just happened?"

He just stared.

"Did I do something?" He calmed down.

I opened my page and I was missing a talent point and looked for a new white spell.

There it was.

Void safe: My body turns to black smoke blocking all damage and magic for three seconds, you can move in any direction.

I stared for far to long as I thought about it.

I stood up checking my mana.

I casted it.

This time I was calm and took it in. I had no feet but pushed forward in my mind and flew over with speed like I was flying. I then slowly turned into my self as my feet continued to run and I slid to a stop.

Another protection.

"Can I?" I looked at him as I pointed my wand. He stood up a little worried but in his eye's he was okay with it making me smile, I can read him and I love it.

I casted it again pointing at him but again I turned into a ball smoke. I ran to him and it stopped as I came to in front of him.

"I guess it is a me only spell." I looked down on my ugly wand.

I could feel it took a bit as I checked my mana again and I was right. It was a mana eater so I just use it as a fail safe like it says.

I am not sure if I would have rather made a different spell or not but I headed out passing the pvp arena. I really was hoping for an attack of some sort.

"There you are took long enough." I heard a familiar voice making me hold back a sigh and looked over at Jay.

"Sorry buddy, I am not here today, got things to do."

"How dare you make me wait just to say no." Like he was some form of boss.

Bandit growled like a cat ready to fight him making me smile down on my baby.

"Get a hold of your rat."

That pissed me off.

"I am going." I spun and walked out of the arena.

He stared to follow and yelling that I am selfish and rude.

"You weak fuck, you owe me." He ran at my pet and tried to kick him making me move fast and push him back making him stumble.

"I owe you?" I stepped forward.

"For all my teachings."

"Teachings. How about you learn how to fight anyone but a noobie."

"Noobie, the fuck does that mean?"

"It means you suck."

"Listen here you stupid whore." He yelled back.

"How about you back off." I heard Boris speak from behind me making me look back as this fire mage glared. Bandit still ready to attack. I just turned to walk over to Boris.

"What is up?" I smiled at him behind my mask like no one was just yelling at me.

He turned to walk with me. "Just strolling around."

"Ya, I feel on edge unsure what to do in this moment, that was a mess of a spell."

"Same, it was someone with a book from the section student's should not be."

"Fuck you." We heard but ignored him and walked back to the commons, Bandit almost frolicking as he walked next to me looking adorable.

"Did you like your date?" I asked.

"Oh ya, it was nice she is..."

"Loud."

"A firecracker." He spoke kindly. I patted his shoulder. He looked down like he wanted to say something but shut his mouth and looked away, a little similar to Nolan.

"Never mind." He spoke softly.

"What? Something wrong with Katy?"

I was worried.

He looked at me startled. "No not about that."

"Okay." I sighed.

"I am trying not to be a blabber mouth on stuff as I can be."

"Ya, can be hard." I wanted to ask but I let is fade into the air. "But I wont ask so you can keep your secret's." and I patted him. "Thanks for the rescue." I turned to my dorm to get started on the cloak.

I need money.

The moon was high as I jumped from shield to shield higher before I landed on the fairy tale castle like roof's of the commons. I jumped from building to building, it was quiet as a group of girls walked by towards the dorm laughing.

I stood above the archway to the shopping district interested as I saw both sides. I pulled off my hood and mask just to breath the cooler air. I think fall is coming and the air was getting better.

I assume they fake it well, to get the feel of real weather.

I started jumping along the shopping district, many people walked by chatting, I listened to a few when I found a nice spot to sit as I crossed my legs. I was so giddy being up here.

"I napped for like seven hours." A guy spoke.

"I think that is just called sleeping." Some other guy spoke back.

I just smiled leaning back on the small incline, I felt like a ninja sitting in this dark spot.

I heard another light chat.

"I get it, I am like poison ivy." I heard Nolan making me snap towards the voice, there was him and Boris walking down the road before they turned towards old town.

I was so excited to see them I could not hold my tongue.

"I once accidently peed in poison oak." They stopped walking and looked around. "My legs, a little of my ass and more was on fire for hours." I spoke wistfully thinking of home.

They could not find me making me laugh and then they looked up. They just stared at me as I leaned forward on my crossed legs, my smile large looking at these two.

"Myth?" Nolan spoke calmly as Boris looked at me startled.

I ran my hand through my hair making me sigh, oops.

The look on Boris's face confused me deeply and gave the smallest amount of flutter in me, pushing it away as he just made me feel nervous in a weird way and looked back at Nolan.

Then Boris started to laugh.

I was confused as Nolan turned to him as well sliding his hands in his pockets.

"She." He laughed. "Did you not hear what she just said?" That made me smile as Nolan looked up at me, his face just as hidden in shadows.

He never stopped looking up at me, I wish I could see his face.

Does he connect it. I mean he hears me speak now, can he not tell the difference?

Do I tell him who I am? I could jump down and put on my mask. I had an opening here as I stared down at him wondering if I should.

Maybe somewhere he does not want to tell the difference.

"Okay, ya." Boris smiled. "I like you." He chuckled. "The worst for me is I lightly burned my ballsa..." Nolan hit him in the back of the head. "Never mind."

"Ah I got the gist." I smiled leaning on my fists. "Sounds painful."

"As for him." He pointed at Nolan this time Nolan looked away from me and back to Boris making him shut up and look a little drained. Well he can see his face.

"What are you too doing?" I asked.

"We are going to a party in Triton Avenue, feel like coming?" Boris invited me.

"Thanks' but no thanks'."

He nodded. "How did you get up there?" Boris was the only one speaking, it made me nervous about Nolan, he talks to me... to Ryan all the time.

"Oh see, the craziest thing happened." I spoke sarcastically. "I was suddenly flying and this alien ship was pulling me to the sky." He stared at me so into the story. "I had to swim in the air and soon enough I fell out of the light and landed here. They flew away a second later." He was shocked.

"Your an idiot." Nolan spoke to his friend he smiled and rubbed his hair laughing.

"For a bookworm ya, it was an oversight." I joked.

"Wait you know me?" Boris asked as they stared at me.

I did not know what to do but sigh sadly.

I must not be as much as a friend to these two that I thought I was if they don't even know my voice.

"Do you know me?" I asked down to him.

"I heard of you." Nolan was staring at his friend again.

I almost wanted to ask, really? With a flirty tone but I just shut up. I just rubbed my hair and looked at the area around me.

"Have fun at your party." I spoke softly hoping that will make them leave.

It worked, they did.
