Point of View: Angel Waters
I let my brother sleep in while we do our morning ritual. Flight and feeding. Tyr is the best flyer out of us all. I'm not sure how. We don't ask. I return to the ground to my brother whose waiting on me.
Cameron: How much fun is that?
"You'll find out soon enough. You ready to go?"
Cameron: Are you?
"Let me get some more gear and yes."
This is when Hatchell walks up.
Hatchell: Giant? When your mission is done I offer you a place at my side when I claim my throne.
Cameron: You're probably going to ask my father for that.
"And he would want compensation."
Hatchell: What about the compensation of the thanks of the true king?
Cameron looks to me. I shrug.
"We will still have to speak with our father. Volunteering him for something will not make him…"
Cameron: Happy or pleasant. We can ask him after the mission.
Hatchell: Fine. Hurry back. I would like my full force when we fly to King's Landing.
We both bow. I think for safety sake.
Cameron and I grab a few more things.
Cameron: How Targaryen is Lord Hatchell?
"He's strong. Abrasive. Fiery. He was able to claim the Dothraki."
Cameron: Not the Unsulled.
"Not yet. He's thinking about it. Fystar wants him to ally with New Valyria."
Cameron: Wait? New Valyria?
"Yes."
Cameron: How many dragons…
"From Fystar and Tyr's reactions. A lot of them."
Cameron: Let me guess. Even Daenerys' Three would be outnumbered.
"I think even our dragons would be outnumbered."
Cameron: We need to tell father.
"You can tell him when we get back. Did you bring any warm clothes?"
Cameron: Warm clothes? Where are we going?
"To visit family…"
