Obi-Wan POV:

"This is all your fault, Kenobi. You turned my apprentice against me! Now, I will kill you for it!" He snarls, he advances his attack and I block his blows quickly.

He tries to slice my head but I block his attack and then I realize my mistake too late, he hits me with a powerful current of wind and I fall back, my saber rolling away, I try to breathe because the wind was knocked out of me.

"Now, the mighty Jedi will die." Sidious says, raising his saber, intent on stabbing me.

"NO! OBI-WAN!" I hear Anakin shout, but all I see is Sidious above me with his red blade.

Sidious brings down his saber, I close my eyes expecting a burning pain and finally being one with the Force.

"Come on, Obi! No time for napping!" I open my eyes and see Quin above me with his green saber lit, blocking the fatal hit from the bleeding saber.

"Quin! Thank the Force!" I say, gladly. I look over to see Anakin unconscious, must be a pretty bad concussion.

I summon my light-saber and ignite the blue crystal, me and Quin stand together, taking on a defensive stance.

"Let's kill this Sithspit, Obi!" Quin says, grinning. Sidious scowls at the new Jedi joining the duel.

"It doesn't matter that your little friend has arrived, just more Jedi for me to kill!" He says and raises his saber, jumping and slashing at us like a raging animal.

"Did he just call me little!" Quin says, pretending to be insulted.

"It appears he did, let's show him how little you are, Quin." I say, playing along.

"You know, technically you're the little one, I'm 6"3, you're 5"10, so he should've called you little." He says, while blocking another hit from the Sith lord.

"Whatever, he could've just meant little in the Force, I am better than you when it comes to meditation and fighting, you're very impatient sometimes, always rushing." I say, bantering with my old friend.

"That's not true! I'm not that impatient! You're the one who always prefers to take the defense when the offense could come out as a better result." He says, retorting.

"Hm, that may be true sometimes, but I'm a master at Soresu for a reason." I say, grinning. Sidious lets out a frustrating yell and advances on us even harder, but we still manage to evade his slashes.

"It's not like I'm the master of Vaapad for no reason!" He says, rolling his eyes.

"I think Mace would like to debate you on that, my friend." I say, letting out a short laugh.

"You guys are going to die, and all you do is joke! Just die already!" Sidious says, snarling.

"Sorry, old man. But we're very hard to kill." Quin says, getting in an offensive position, as do I.

"Plus, we love to annoy our enemies." I add.

"Well don't worry, Jedi. You guys won't be doing that for long." Sidious says, glaring.

"Stop repeating the same thing! You're going to die, blah blah! It's boring me!" Quin says, sounding bored.

"AH!" Palpatine says, rushing forward.

Me and Quin advance slashing at him, he evades each slash but then more Jedi join us.

"Die you will, for killing the Jedi you did." Yoda says, igniting his small green blades.

"I'm still mad about my hand!" Mace says, coming from behind, igniting his purple blade.

"You tried to kill me with my own troops!" Plo says, igniting his blue blade.

"NO! YOU WON'T WIN!" Sidious says, shouting angrily.

"Look around, Sidious. It's over, surrender your blade and you won't die immediately." I say, standing in a defensive stance but prepared in case he strikes again.

"But please don't, cause then I won't get to kill you." Quin says, smirking.

"Masters!" Ahsoka says, running over here. "The troopers have surrendered." She looks over at Sidious and ignites her blue twin blades.

"NNOOOOO!" Sidious says, he uses the dark side of the force and the whole hangar erupts, the floor disappearing, crashing in itself.

All of us lose our balance and get away from the splitting cracks in the floor, opening up to reveal lava.

"Get away from the cracks!" I shout to my fellow Jedi and friends.

"AH!" Ahsoka screams, as she falls in one of the cracks, Plo quickly catches her wrist and pulls her up.

All of us get separated from the cracks, unfortunately I end up on the same crack as Sidious.

"Finally, you're mine Kenobi!" He says, slashing and hitting his saber at me but I block him with my own, there's nowhere to move, all around me are the edge's of the floor of the hangar, below the burning lava.

"There's nowhere for you to go, Kenobi. You either die by my blade or by the burning lava below. I suggest the quicker death." He says, and slashes his saber some more. "But I prefer the more painful one for you." He says and force pushes me over the edge, I grab onto the soil and rocks, dangling mid-air, hanging on for dear life, sweating miserably from the heat.

Anakin POV:

I come back to consciousness, and see the floor splitting up around me. I look over to where Obi-Wan was before and some of the Jedi on different parts of the floor that are still intact. I then look for Obi-Wan and see Sidious force push him over the edge.

I get up quickly and Ignite my saber, clumsily running and leaping over there as fast as I can.

Sidious turns around and looks at me, grinning.

"I have finally rid this galaxy of that annoying Jedi." He says, cackling. "Come back to the Dark side, Vader, help me kill all these pests! The Jedi will betray you, like they did before, isn't that why you came to me before? Because they hurt you!" He says.

"No, Palpatine. They're not the ones who betrayed me, you are! You will die for killing Obi-Wan, I'll make sure of it!" I say, angrily, no time for grieving right now.

"Fine then, I gave you a chance, just remember that, Skywalker!" He says and attacks.

"You know, I was thinking of who my new apprentice should be, maybe that Togruta girl that used to follow you around all the time, what was her name again, oh yes, Ahsoka." He says, cackling. I growl at the thought of him turning my former apprentice.

"NEVER!" I say and slash his arm. He snarls in pain but continues nonetheless.

"Or maybe that little girl, the daughter of that nasty Senator." He says.

"NO!" I say, advancing angrily.

"You can't care about her all of the sudden, Skywalker. Don't forget who the person was who killed all those younglings a decade ago." He says, laughing maniacally.

"You will not lay a hand on her, Palpatine! I'll make sure of it!" I say, angry.

"Why do you care for her so much?" He says, thinking, he then smiles putting two-and-two together. "She's your daughter isn't she, that's why her force signature is so powerful, I should've known, that Senator couldn't even have had children! Now I'll have another Skywalker under my control!" He says, cackling.

All I see is red and I slash at him some more, blinded in rage, I don't notice him swing his saber and cut one of my mechanical legs. I fall on the ground, defenseless, my saber dropping into the lava below.

"Still so blinded in anger, Skywalker. I meant what I said though, I will take your precious daughter and she will be my apprentice. Too bad you won't get to see her become a Sith though." He says and raises his light-saber above his head.

I'm sorry, Leia, I think, having failed her. At least I'll be with my master again.

Obi-Wan POV:

My grip is slipping and I fear I'll fall below into the lava. I hoist myself up, climbing slowly, not wanting to grab the wrong rock and fall. I hear Anakin shout above and then hear Sidious cackling.

"Still so blinded in anger, Skywalker. I meant what I said though, I will take your precious daughter and she will be my apprentice. Too bad you won't get to see her become a Sith though." I hear Sidious say. I know I got to Force jump out of this pit, but I don't think I have enough energy. I call on the Force for help and jump, quickly summoning my saber.

I look at Anakin and his eyes widen, he then looks at me and lets out a sigh of relief. He moves to get up but I quickly rush to his side instead.

Anakin POV:

I see Sidious towering over Anakin, raising his saber above his head, intending to kill Anakin. I land behind him and stab him in the back from behind. I deactivate my saber and his body falls to the lava below.

All of the sudden, a blue light-saber is penetrated through Palpatine's chest, his eyes go wide and roll to the back of his head. The saber deactivates and his body falls to the lava below. I look to see who the Jedi was that killed the Sith lord, and I let out a sigh of relief, there, tired and sweating, but smiling, is Obi-Wan.

"OBI-WAN!" I shout and move to get up. "You did it!"

He comes over to me and pushes me back down gently. "I don't think you'll be able to stand right now, Anakin, don't get up." He says and I nod. He picks me up and slings me over his shoulder, Jedi jumping out of the hangar to reunite with all the other Jedi, he gently lets me down, letting me lean on him.

"Anakin, Obi-Wan!" Ahsoka says, rushing over and hugging us. "You're all right!" She says, thankful.

"Of course, Snips." I say, and hug her back.

Obi-Wan POV:

"Thought you guys were definitely going to die back there." Quin says.

"Oh thanks, Quin. That's very relieving." I say, sarcastically.

"I'm assuming Darth Sidious is finally taken care of." Mace says, reaffirming the situation.

"Yes, I don't think he'll be coming." I say, looking towards the blown up hangar, being engulfed by the lava below.

"A dark decade, this has been. Glad it is finally over, I am. Truly a Sith killer, you are Obi-Wan." Yoda says, smiling, relieved the Empire has finally fallen.

"What is to be done with me, Masters?" Anakin asks, nervously.

"Time for grudges, it is not. Killed many people, you have, but defeated the Empire, you did, could not have done it without you, we could not have.

Forgive you, we all can, but forget, we may never. Jedi Order, no more it is, rebuild the Jedi we must. Great trials, you have overcome, Young Skywalker.

Execute or imprison you, we will not. Free to go, you are.

When Jedi Order was, failed you we did, misguide you we did, allowed to love we are, but to be possessive we are not. If taught correctly, you were, maybe the Jedi Purge, happened it would not have, but we don't live by ifs, we do not. Focus on the present now, we must." Yoda says, I look at Anakin and he looks at Yoda in disbelief.

"Thank you, Master Yoda." He says, and bows his head, gratefully.

Yoda turns to me and speaks.

"Not your fault either, it is, Obi-Wan. Failed Anakin, you did not. Did everything you could for him, you did. Protected Luke and Leia, this whole time you have, killed Sidious you did, shown true loyalty to the Jedi, you did, even when it was no more. Jedi Order, when rebuilt, Grand Master you will be, too old I am to deal with this." He says and my eyes widen.

"Are you sure, Master? Wouldn't Mace or Plo be better for this?" I ask, unsure.

"No one better qualified for this, there is. Anakin chosen one he might be, but the force's child you are, the light swarms around you, it does. Proud to be your great-grand-master, I am, know if Qui-Gon was here, he too would be proud." Yoda says, smiling warmly at me.

"It is a great honor being your great-grand-padawan, Master Yoda, thank you for this opportunity." I say, bowing my head, happy that some normalcy will come back.

"Send message to all remaining Jedi, I will. Time to go back to the temple, it is." Yoda says.

"Who will be the leader of the senate now?" Plo asks.

"Know the right person for the job, I do. Great leader, he is. Call Bail Organa, here we must." He says and Mace goes to retrieve him.

"You asked for me, Master Yoda?" Bail says, walking over here.

"New supreme chancellor, we need, perfect fit you are. Great leader, you are, help us with this Rebellion, you did. What say, do you?" Yoda asks and Bail bows respectfully.

"I would be honored to be the new supreme chancellor. I will be making some changes though." He says.

"What changes?" Mace asks, curiously.

"First, the Jedi won't be obliged to the Senate anymore, they may pick any mission they want. Second, the clones will now be getting rights, as any other sentient in this galaxy has. Probably more changes later on, when I have some more time to think." Bail says.

"Congratulations, Bail, I'm sure we will work together just fine." I say and he looks at me confused.

"I've been made grand master of the order!" I say, excitedly.

"That's great, Obi-Wan! Congratulations to you also, my friend." He says, smiling.

Bant and Healer Cho come over to us with a hover-chair, intended for Anakin.

Bant comes over and hugs me.

"Oh, you're alright, Obi!" She says.

"Of course, Bant. Where will you be going?" I ask.

"We're going to take Anakin back to the temple, and see if the med-bay is still intact." She says.

"Good luck. Be safe." I say and she nods, she hugs me one more time before heading to the jet.

"Come, Anakin. We need to treat you for your leg." Che says.

Anakin looks at me gratefully before She leads him to the jet, Ahsoka following not far behind.

"Well, I'll see you later, oh Grand-Master Kenobi." Quin says, bowing. I shove him and he laughs.

"Where are you off to now?" I ask, curious as to where my old friend will go now.

"Gotta get back home to my probably angry girlfriend now." He says.

"Good luck dealing with Asajj's anger, I almost feel bad for you." I say and he glares at me playfully and rushes off to his jet.

"Will you be returning to Coruscant?" Mace asks.

"Not yet, I made a promise that I intend on keeping." I say and he nods, understandingly.

"We'll see you there then, Obi-Wan." Plo says, bidding goodbye.

Mace, Yoda, and Plo pile into the jet, before it takes off, their destination Coruscant.

"General!" I hear from behind me, I spin around and see Cody with Rex.

"Cody, I heard the battle went well?" I ask.

"Yes, Sir, it did. Those troopers were very inexperienced. I heard you killed another Sith?" He ask.

"Yes, I did. He was very naive in thinking he can kill me." I say, laughing. "I have very exciting news for you guys. Bail is going to be the new supreme chancellor, he is going to give the clones rights, like all the other sentients in the galaxy." I say, quoting Bail.

"That's wonderful, Sir!" Rex says, beaming. Kix, Stitch, and Boil come and join us, Rex tells them the news and they are excited as well.

"Now you guys can do whatever you want, start a family, live your own life." I say.

"May we speak alone for a minute, General?" Cody asks, and I nod, giving them some privacy.

"General, we have made a decision. Permission to speak freely?" Cody asks.

"Of course, Cody, and you may call me Obi-Wan, I'm not your general anymore." I say.

"News has spread around the battlefield that you are now Grand-Master of the Order and you might need some guards." He says, smirking.

"Or a medic or two, since your hobby is always ending up in the med-bay." Stitch adds.

"And as much as we like Skywalker, you were always very kind to your battalion." Kix adds.

"Thank you for our rights, Sir." Boil says.

"But we respectfully decline the offer to go and live a "normal" life." Rex says.

"We'd like to remain with you, Obi-Wan. You're personal guards or whatever, back to Ghost Company even." Cody says, smiling.

"And as much fun it has been with Ahsoka, I'd like to remain with my brothers and you for a while, it's been a long time since I've seen you guys." Rex says.

"Thank you, all of you guys. You don't know how much this means to me, truly." I say, tearing up. "I'm sure we could make something workout, and even get you all separate rooms in the temple if you'd like." I say and they all smile, beaming joyously.

"We'd love that, Obi-Wan!" Cody says.

"I must make a trip to Alderaan first, I need to visit a special someone." I say and they nod.

"Mind if we accompany you, Sir?" Boil ask.

"Of course not. Best we head off, Bail is leaving any minute now." I say and we rush off to Bail's ship.

"Accompanying me too Alderaan, Obi-Wan?" Bail asks, amused.

"Yes actually, I need to pay your daughter a visit, I made a promise." I say and he nods.

"Mind if my "guards" come with me?" I ask.

"Of course they may come, I trust they decided to stay with you?" He asks, curiously.

"Yes, Sir. As Obi-Wan was made Grand-Master, we believe he may need some guards, Chancellor Organa." Cody says, bowing.

"Oh please, call me Bail, any friend of Obi-Wan's is a friend of mine, Cody." He says, gently.

"Thank you, Si-..Bail" Cody says.

"I think it's time I pay my home a visit now." He says and we take off, our destination, Alderaan.
