I just wanna make it known that the younger Alexia is going to be referred to as Altlexia while she's with Actual Alexia. My sister came up with the nickname and it's her fault I'm sticking with it.
Chapter Four
The office wasn't as busy as it had been earlier that day. Alexia had been left alone to work while she'd sent Antonin to find some supplies. Alphard had dropped off her lunch and left again to go to Borgin and Burke's. The only other person there was Bertie, who was in his office doing… whatever it was that he normally did.
Alexia was startled when a portal opened up. She glanced down at her hands and shook away the thought that she'd opened it as it violently deposited two teenagers.
As they adjusted themselves and checked on each other, she looked at them closely and felt her eyebrows raise significantly. "Oh Circe."
Altlexia grimaced and held her hand closely to her body, having fallen on it. "Great, you look like me, too."
"I see you're getting the multiverse experience," Alexia rolled her eyes. "I'm Alexia. Are you okay? Things have been off lately, it's getting dangerous out there."
"Just my wrist," Altlexia said slowly. "I'm also Alexia."
Alexia's eyebrows rose and her eyes widened. "Oh. Oh. That's fascinating. How old are you? Did you come from the past? You're with Antonin, are things the same with him? Has he hurt you, has he not? Are you changing time, or are you keeping it the same?"
Altlexia blinked at her. "I came from the past, yes, from 1976. I would've been sixteen, technically, before Avery removed the spell for me. Antonin has never hurt me, not in the past. As for changing time… it's complicated."
"It always is," Alexia sighed. She dropped her wand in her lap and sat back against the wall. "Where'd you come from? It sounds like you know you're traveling the multiverse, so are you going around a lot?"
Altlexia hesitated. "I think we must've come from your universe, I suppose. You're married to Antonin?"
Alexia tensed. "Yes. Is he… how's he doing?"
The two exchanged a glance. "He looked… furious. And sad."
Guilt flooded Alexia. "Of course. But he's okay otherwise?"
"Yes. Why? Why wouldn't he be?"
"Because I had to leave," she told them. "Because my friend was in danger and I had to bring her here and make an Unbreakable Vow. I'm stuck here and he's stuck at home, without me, handling… Feliks."
"He attacked us when we got there," Antonin told her sharply. "Why?"
She grimaced. "Because of me. He's a bloody fucking maniac. He's a serial killer, really. He's trying to get to me, and he must've gotten to the Multiverse room or something. I hope Draco's okay, he was supposed to lock it all down. Did Feliks hurt you?"
"I got us out of there before he could," Altlexia assured her. "How is Sirius… alive? I don't understand. How'd you save Jamie? How was… everyone?"
Alexia sighed and rubbed at her forehead tiredly. "I didn't really do much to save James and Sirius, or Lily."
"Lily?" Altlexia gasped. "But she had to die for Harry to-,"
"She did. They all did," Alexia said sharply. "It was family magic. When you get back to your time, all you're going to want to do is ignite some family magic and it should bring them back. I was in Potter Manor with my heir ring on."
"That's incredible," Altlxia breathed.
"As for the Prewett twins… there's a spell, but it comes at a cost," Alexia said slowly. "I'd only give it to you if you swear to never work on it with Alphard Black. I'd suggest working on it with Antonin if it's possible. If not, whoever you trust the most and connect to that knows you're from the future. But never Alphard. Understand?"
"Yes, of course," Altlexia nodded quickly. "I'll have to work on it with Avery, then."
Silence fell and Alexia stared down at her hands. "You'll have to get back to my universe if you ever want to get home. Staying here, it'll take me… weeks at the least to send you back."
"How can we get back to your universe if-,"
Alexia tossed a ring at Altlexia after removing it from her hand. "You'll use that. I- I can send you back using that. Just… if you see my husband, tell him that I love him."
Altlexa frowned at her. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm just stuck unexpectedly. So if you see him, let him know. We'll have to get you to Potter Manor before sending you back so that you're safe. If Feliks sees you, he'll think you're me."
Antonin gripped onto Altlexia's hand tightly. "You have more scars than she does."
"Even if he realizes we're not... he'll try and use her just the same. Take care of her."

When Amelia Bones got to Potter Manor, the sitting room held Mia, James, and Antonin, who were all waiting for the BAU to get finished in France.
Amelia looked rough, that much was obvious. Her hair wasn't in its normal, neat bun and her clothes looked ripped and somewhat burned. When she stepped out of the floo, her eyes slipped to Mia. "Alexia, thank Merlin."
"Amelia, what the hell happened?" Mia asked, startled. The woman was a friend in her own universe, and she knew something had happened.
"Your cousin happened," Amelia stated. "I barely got out alive. He was in the ministry. I thought you were taking care of him?"
"Damn it!" James cursed loudly. He cast his Patronus and sent a message to the BAU, as well as Fabian and Gideon. "We need to get there now."
Amelia shook her head. "He escaped. I tried to follow him, but he must've taken five different floos."
It was only a moment before the snap of a portkey sounded and the BAU was back with Lucius. Mia looked at Antonin and hesitantly pulled him out of the room.
"What?" he asked sharply.
"Use your family magic. This has gone on long enough. Use your damn family magic to kill him."
"Hermione-,"
"Would not want you to keep letting people die!" she snapped back. "Use your fucking family magic already."
Antonin's jaw tightened and after a moment, he spoke again. "There is resistance. Some of our family… does not wish for Feliks to die. They will not fight back outwardly, but they use what they can of the family magic to protect him."
"But you're Lord Dolohov! Can't you overpower them?"
"Perhaps with Hermione's help, Lady Dolohov's help, but not alone."
Mia hesitated. "With a Lady Dolohov, you could… find him?"
"Yes."
She looked disappointed. Without another word, she turned and ran up the stairs. He followed behind her into a bedroom that held Adelaide.
"Mia, I'm not in the mood," Adelaide muttered. "Please- you brought Dolohov?"
"Addy, look, I know things are really fucking shit," Mia told her. "I know you're probably pissed at Lexi, but there's something you can do to help."
"Help what?"
"I'm sorry, Addy, I'm sorry, but you can help us catch Feliks."
Adelaide's look turned guarded. "How?"
"You have to embrace it. The bond," Mia told them both. Immediately, they both looked ready to fight her. "I know you can both feel it. You're probably suppressing it, but if you embrace it, you can help him find Feliks. I'm sorry, both of you."
"You… want me to embrace the bond that was forced on me when Dolohov tried to-,"
"I'm sorry," Mia repeated. "But it's the best way to keep him from killing anyone else. He just tried to kill Amelia Bones."
"She would have to leave immediately after finding him," Antonin said shortly. "Or the bond would be deepened for her."
"Where's Avery?" Adelaide asked quietly. "I asked him to leave me alone, where did he go?"
"Library, with my Avery and Regulus," Mia explained.
Adelaide sighed and pushed her hair out of her face. "Avery stays with me. We move quickly. Then… then you, Mia, come back with me and we're going to talk about my… husband."
"Yes! Yes, of course," Mia nodded quickly. "Okay, come on. Downstairs. We need to do this quickly."
By the time they got downstairs again, Amelia had been taken to St. Mungo's. With her gone, Mia and Adelaide were free to be in the same room together.
"We have a plan."
Hotch looked exhausted at the words. "We have to get to your Ministry."
Mia snorted. "You want to get into the DOM, where he tried to kill Mini Lexi? And the DMLE? Good fucking luck."
"She is right, you cannot enter the DOM," Antonin told them. "We can find him."
"How?"
"Well, using family magic, Dolohov and Addy can find him," Mia explained.
Emily frowned at Adelaide. "You're a Dolohov?"
Adelaide's eyes flashed. She had her Avery at her side, and was gripping his hand tightly within her own. "I've been cursed by my Dolohov. Unfortunately, without Lexi here to fulfill her soul bond with him, it falls on me."
"Together, as Lord and Lady Dolohov, they can use family magic to track Feliks," Mia explained. "Then using my bond with Addy, I'll follow them and bring two of you. My Regulus can do the same by using our bond and following me. It's like a big game of follow the leader except instead of going to a classroom or some shit, we're going to a serial killer."
"She is way too excited about this," Garcia stated.
"Let's just get this over with," Adelaide muttered. Antonin nodded grimly, so they both closed their eyes and focused on the bond they were suppressing.
It was uncomfortable and painful, and she unconsciously stepped back and into Avery, who grabbed her arms gently. By the time the bond was fully embraced, she had tears in her eyes and her voice was a whisper. "Hurry."
"You look like you're in pain," Reid said, alarmed. "Does it hurt?"
"Being bonded so fully to someone that's attacked her numerous times in our universe might do that," Avery said in frustration. "This is a really bad idea, Addy. When we return home, it might-,"
"Can we get to finding him?" Adelaide snapped. "Now?"
"Honesta Familia Feliks," Antonin muttered. It didn't look like anything happened, but both Antonin and Adelaide looked up as they were both suddenly aware of where the man was.
"He's in Russia?" Adelaide asked in confusion. "Where- where is that?"
"He is in Simeon's home," Antonin said tensely. "We will leave before they move."
"They know we know," Adelaide whispered. "Don't they?"
"Yes."
"Okay, Reid, you and I go with Adelaide," Rossi said, walking over. As soon as they reached her, she grabbed them and Disapparated.
It didn't take long for them to organize. Antonin left immediately with Adelaide, and they landed in the house together, along with Rossi and Reid.
Behind them came Mia with JJ and Hotch, and Regulus brought Morgan and Emily. They all landed in the floo room, and Antonin surged ahead, but Hotch moved in his way. He looked ready to curse the man, and Mia disarmed him. He turned on her and Regulus stepped in the way with his own wand up. "We need a plan, Dolohov."
"We'll go ahead with one of you," Hotch said slowly. "Dolohov, are you sure you can hold back?"
Antonin's eyes flashed. "Feliks does not deserve death. Not after everything he's put Hermione through."
"They can work with Amelia to keep him locked up, maybe a bit more securely this time," Mia suggested.
"Okay. In that case, Morgan and I will go ahead with Dolohov and everyone can follow. What should we be prepared for?"
"Dark magic. They will likely aim to kill, so stay behind my shield," Antonin suggested. "Simeon is trained in duelling, he is a Master dueller. Mia will engage with him."
"Why Mia?" JJ questioned.
"I'm a legendary that can come back to life," Mia answered. When Regulus went to argue, she rolled her eyes. "I'll be careful, love."
"You're a legendary, but you come back just as hurt as you were when you died," he reminded her. "Dying isn't as harmless as it is for Alexia."
Mia's eyes flashed. "Thanks, I know that. But this is for Lexi, and I actually give a shit about her safety, so I'm doing this."
"Mia-,"
"Ready?" she asked Antonin, who gave a short, grateful nod.
"I'm staying on her," Regulus told the BAU. Emily nodded.
"And I can help. Everyone else should focus on Feliks."
"Let's go."
Surging into the basement, they were quick to find the pair they were looking for.
Simeon was quick to move to curse Antonin, but Mia jumped in the way and blocked it. She threw her own curses out, including a harsh Diffodio, which did manage to hit his arm in the middle of him casting again. His curse - an Incarcerus - did hit her.
As Mia was bound by ropes and Regulus moved to help her with Emily shooting at Simeon, Antonin and the rest of the BAU, along with Adelaide, went after Feliks.
"It is in your best interest to give up," Antonin said tensely. Feliks scoffed.
"You were never meant to be Lord Dolohov," he said sharply. "It was supposed to be me! You have no right-,"
"You lost your mind," Antonin interrupted. "After you married the muggle, Mischa never trusted you! Father knew you killed muggles, muggleborns, and any witch you came across. We could not allow that to be associated with our House more than it already was. You were unfit to be Lord Dolohov."
"Avada Kedavra!"
Antonin was barely able to dodge out of the way of the curse, using wandless magic to shove Adelaide and JJ to the ground as well. With all three of them down, Reid shot at Feliks. The bullet passed straight through the shield and hit Feliks in the shoulder, bringing him down. With him on the ground, Rossi ran forward and turned him over to cuff him while Morgan was able to grab and subsequently break his wand.
Once she'd regained her composure, Adelaide followed up by silencing Feliks as well. With that done, she turned to help Mia, but found that her friend had already finished her duel and had her knee on Simeon's back and the man's wand in her hand. She threw the wand at Antonin. "Here. What d'you wanna do with him?"
"He and Feliks both will be dealt with by the Ministry and myself," Antonin said tensely. "We will take them to the Ministry first."
"Thank God," Emily breathed. "We were a little worried you were going to hold them illegally."
"Not yet," Mia joked.
"Oh, that's comforting."
OoOoOoOoOoOo
The BAU had left by the time a portal had opened and Altlexia had returned to Alexia's universe. When she got there, Avery almost immediately ran over to check on her and breathed out in relief when he saw she was fine.
"Circe, calm down," Altlexia laughed. "I'm fine."
"A multiverse is a little out of your league, ace," he told her shortly. "What happened?"
"We met my alternate self," she said slowly. "Alexia, that is."
"You saw her?"
Altlexia looked over at Antonin sadly. "She asked me to tell you that she loves you and she's sorry."
He was tense. "How did you get here?"
She held up her hand. "She gave me this ring. She said you'd help us get back home?"
He looked like he was in pain, but he nodded shortly. "We will go to the ministry and I will send you home."
