Scientists will never discover time travel.
Not because it's impossible of course, it's because they're too smart.
We all know time is a construct of human perception, but it goes way faster when we aren't perceiving it.
After all, time passes quickly when we're asleep, and slowly when we stare a clock.
In that case it's obvious that all you have to do to travel forward in time is stop thinking.
Those too smart for their own good science types are way behind on their research if they don't understand something like that!
And don't even get me started on backwards time travel!
