After the terrifying incident on halloween Harry noticed his parents didn't seem to have any time for him anymore.
His parents and uncles moony and padfoot would constantly dote on his little brother. It was always Nathan this Nathan that.
Every time he tried to talk to the they would say they were too busy.
And when Harry told the what really happened that night they would just brush it off telling him to stop being jealous of his brother.
Now Harry loved his brother but he couldn't help but feel slightly jealous of him. Like when his parents would take him shopping but leave Harry alone or when padfoot would give home piggyback rides.
It had started off slowly.
First his mother would forget to read him a bed time story after tucking him in soon she just stopped tucking him in all together. Then they would sometimes forget to call him down for dinner until they just stopped calling him down. It slowly evolved into the forgetting to give him a place to sit or make him dinner.
He was starting to feel like a stranger living in his own house.
By the time he was five he was a very independent child. He was dressing himself, cocking his own dinner, washing his own clothes, teaching himself how to talk read and write he was also walking to the library down the road to get his own books.
You see Harry was a very intelligent child and had made his way through a good portion of the books in the local library.
His parents never noticed when he would leave sometimes for hours at a time.
But being invisible did have some benefits like no one noticed when he would take Nathan's toy broom out for a ride on the grounds around the manor or when he would practice magic.
But the second one has the downside of his whole 'family' thinking he was a squib.
It annoyed him when his parents would take his brother out of the country leaving him in the loving care of the Weasleys.
Every time he would bring up the fact that they wouldn't bring him with them they would the ask "don't you like spending time with the Weasleys".
Don't get him wrong he loved spending time with the Weasleys at the burrow but he just wished his parents would bring him with them sometimes.
He enjoyed spending time exploring with Bill and Charlie, reading with Percy, causing trouble with the twins and keeping an eye on the younger one's.
In fact he wished he was a Weasley.
Molly Weasley liked on solemnly as a five year old Harry played with Bill and Charlie even though he was years younger than them.
She knew Harry was being neglected but she couldn't do anything because she and Author could not afford to have another child living with them. She was pissed of at the Potters. But she knew if shale was vocal about disagreeing with them they would no longer let her mind him when the were out of the country.
She considers him family if as the twins put it the black haired Weasley before 'accidentally' turning his hair red. She thought back to that day.
Flashback
Harry was hanging out with Fred and George in the garden plotting their next prank. When all of a sudden she heard the maniacal laughter of the twins.
She ran into the garden to see the twins sitting down with matching Cheshire grins. She then turned to Harry who's hair was the famous Weasley red.
"Would you like me to change it back Harry" She asked politely.
"No thanks,I kind of like it" he responded quietly she gave him a small smile in response.
"See mom nowhere is no longer the black haired Weasley" Coursed the twins.
At dinner later that day Bill, Charlie,Percy and Author kept not so subtly glancing at his hair he finally told the what happened.
A few hours later Bill Charlie and Harry turned the twins outfits a bright pink witch clashed with their bright red hair. Their clothe were turned back but not before Harry got a picture. He created tree copies giving one each to Bill and Charlie. He also kept one copy for himself.
End flashback
She smiled at the memory and called them in for dinner.
Little did he know currently James Lilly and Albus were having a quiet conversation.
" it is extremely difficult to raise two boys. It is even more difficult with Nathan being the boy who lived and all" James said to Albus"What are you saying?" Asked Albus. Lilly responded "we have decided to give Harry to a Bulgarian family called the krums"
After dinner Lilly and James showed up to collect Harry.
As James and Harry left Lilly stayed behind to tell them that they were giving Harry to the Krum family because the no longer wanted to be burdened with him.
That night none of the Weasleys slept as the realised that they may never see Harry again. At that revelation the house was silent not even the twins were joking around.and then Molly just broke down realising she would never see her son again.
Author held her as she sobbed at her loss. Bill and Charlie angrily stomped upstairs not wanting their other siblings to see them cry. Percy, Fred and George had silent tears streaming down their faces. Ron and Ginny looked confused as to what was going on.
Molly was furious at the Potters and rarely spoke to them after that .
