"AAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Tabuu groaned as he started writhing in agony as everyone looked on. "Damn you…. DAMN YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLL!" He exclaimed as everyone saw Subspace shrinking from the areas that Tabuu forced ROB's entire race to destroy.
"The Subspace is collapsing! Everyone! Enter the portal, now!" Crazy Hand shout as he snap his fingers and then open a portal. Then everyone begin to rush through the portal and enter the otherside.
Once they arrived, they all were relocated to a cliffside. all looked on to see the last Subspace portal shrinking, where the Isle of Ancients once floated, but it was no longer there. Instead, there is a crack in the sky.
"Phew… it's over now." Pit sigh of relief as he collapse on his butt.
"But what's that crack in the sky?" Peach asked as she and the other Fighters of Smash see the crack in the sky.
"Hmm… Good question..." Zelda replied as she look with concern. "I don't sense any disturtion. Do you think it has something to do with the Subspace?"
"Probably." Samus said. "My advise is to investigate this."
"Ugggh…" Master Hand groaned as he slowly rise up. "What… Happened?"
"Ohohoho! You're awake. I'll explain. But right now. Everyone, rest up!" Crazy Hand said as he turn to the Fighters.
"But what are we gonna do about that?" Bowser pointed at the crack in the sky.
"Oh leave the investigation to us!"
On the otherside of the crack.

In the large red palace by the capital. There was a young man with blonde hair and ponytail. He is wearing a blue tunic under the coat. The coat has golden shoulder epaulettes with golden tassels and a black and gold trim. He wears white trousers and dark brown boots that go up to either his knees where they open up. He was humming on what is he planning to do next. Until something unexpected happened. A sense of distortion keen his senses.
"Oh my. What was that?" The young man asked as he look around. Then the door open as he turn and there was a young man with short brown hair and green eyes. He wears the standard officers' uniform of a military. It was mostly purple with black stripes and a gold trim, padded purple trousers, boots and a white cape with golden tassels.
"Olivert, did you felt that?" Asked the young man.
"I did. What was that just now?" Olivert asked
"No idea. But do you think there are others who felt it?"
"I'm certain the chancellor might have felt it. Something must have happened. It's best that we look into this at hand."
Right." The young man nodded
In the office of the Chancellor
In the office of the Chancellor. There was a middle-aged man looking at the window. He is wearing a dark grey-purple overcoat reaching down to his ankles with bronze-gold color thick hem and patterns, a long red cloth over the right shoulder to the robe's bottom base while strapped around tightly by a brown belt. He has two chains connected on the left side of the belt going around the backside, and wears two medals of promotion on the left side of the chest. Underneath the coat is a white collar shirt tuck followed by a violet scarf tucked around his neck, wears violet pants, and grey-brown shoes.
The chancellor heard a knock on the door.
"Enter." He said and then open the door was a young woman with long sky-blue hair pony-tailed in a side-curly fashion and red eyes. She appears in the standard RMP officers' uniform, consisting of a gray and black two piece with several utility belts, brown boots which her trousers are tucked into and a short pointed cape on the back. She also wears a small cap and black scrunchie in her hair. "Captain Rieveldt. I take it you sense it as well?"
"Yes sir. Although it's not just me apparently." She said. "Captain Lechter and among others may have felt it as well."
Then another door knock was heard.
"Enter." The chancellor said.
And then enter was a young man with messy medium length scarlet hair and green eyes. He wears a white collar shit and cobalt waistcoat underneath, along with violet trousers that match his suit, smart brown shoes and white gloves. He also wears a lilac cravat with a turquoise brooch and carries a slim ornate rapier with a purple hilt and turquoise gem on the pommel.
"And speak of the devil." She said.
"Hello Claire. I take it you felt it as well?" The young man asked
"I have Lechter." Claire answered. "I take it you found something?"
"Sadly no. It just show out of nowhere. But the Intelligence Division is looking into that strange phenomenon." Lechter answered.
"In that case, informed of it to me immedually." The chancellor said.
-A few days later-
"Olivert." The young man in uniform enter the office of Olivert.
"Ah, Muller, you look like you found something." Olivert greeted.
"Yeah. And it's something you should hear."
"Coming from you. It's serious. All right. What's going on?"
"There has been major chances between the Orbal energy. It was discovered by Professor Schmidt."
"Oh? What has happened?"
"According to his discovery. The orbal energy has glowing particles now. This never happened before. Ever since that distortion happened, these strange particles showed up out of nowhere. The normal things is that we can use Arts just fine. But then something else happened. Apparently a new land has been discovered."
"Beg pardon." Olivert asked in surprised. "A new land?"
"Yeah. This new land was discovered by a young boy living in Olbia Lowland. He and his friends found a strange crack in the sky."
"A crack in the sky? Now that's something I was not expecting to hear."
"Same. But this crack expended into the forest where the boy discovered it. I'm not so sure how this escapes the notice. But the boy enter the crack and he discovered a new land on the other side. He show it to his mother after that. And then the mother show the mayor. And now the mayor informed the authority. According to their testimony of this new land. It's like something out of a fairy tale. This new land have hills with eyes. Even the clouds."
"Did you just say hills and clouds have eyes?"
"It sounds absurd I know-"
"Absurd? Sounds like a fantasy dear Muller!" Olivert said with sparks in his eyes. "We must investigate this at once!"
"Wha- Don't tell me you believe in that?" Muller sighed.
"Come now Muller. No need to be a sourpuss. Besides, We need to look into this don't we? After all, if it's connected to the strange phenomenon. It's only natural we investigate. Besides, I'm quite bored and I need adventure! This is the perfect excuse to look into this matter! Besides, it would be wise to see this land before the Chancellor do something about it."
Muller sighed. "I suppose about the chancellor it understandable."

(Trails of Cold Steel ost - Let's Study)
In the town of Trista. There is an academy called Thors Miltiary Academy. And inside a class room was a group of students called Class VII. And just walk right in was their Instructor.
"Come on, everyone. Get it together." Sara said as she walked in the classroom.
"Instructor Sara?" A girl with classes name Emma asked
"Oh, isn't this a self-study period?" Rean asked.
"Oh, it was. But I thought you all might like to know that the board of directors' meeting just adjourned a few minutes ago. So I decided to skip along down here and be the first to break the news."
"Th-Then…" The blonde hair girl name Alisa titled her head.
"What about our next field study? Are we still on it?" The boy with green hair and glasses name Machias asked.
"Hehe. The chancellor's not the only one with a little too much iron in his blood. Because the board voted unanimously to have you continue your field studies."

"You mean it?" Alisa asked happily.
"So that's how it is." The blonde hair young man name Jusis added.
"Y'know, even though they're always hard work, I actually feel a little relieved." The orange hair boy name Elliot replied
"Considering all that happened last month, we'll need to be especially careful this time around." The blue hair ponytail girl name Laura said.
The boy with black hair name Rean nodded. "Still, it feels like our field studies are a big part of who we are as a class."
"Yeah." The tan boy name Gaius nodded
"They're kind of a pain, but, oh well." The silver hair girl name Fie said.
"We should be grateful to His Highness and the directors." Emma added.
The energetic sky blue girl name Millium giggled. "Well that's good news!"
"Seein' the hard road and the easy road, then picking the hard road one anyway... that's youth for ya." The silver hair bandada young man name Crow sighed
Sara chuckled. "Oh, and speaking of field study. I actually have some unexpected news about that."
"What do you mean?" Elliot asked
"You guys will have two field studies."
"Say what?!" Alisa exclaimed as she and her other classmates look surprised.
"Two field studies?" Rean asked
"That's right. This field study is extra credit for you guys. Honestly, even I was surprised about this. However, His Highness was the one who arranged it. And this time, I'm coming with ya."
"Now hold up, you are?" Crow asked.
"What brought this on, Instructor?" Machias asked
"Aside from the current plan for the next field study. This one is new itself. His Highness told me about this new land. Have any of you heard the rumors been going on? About clouds and hill with eyes and the Orbal energy has some strange glowing particles?"
"Oh, I heard about the glowing particles. But nothing appears to have change." Alisa said.
"But hills and clouds have eyes? What kind of far nonsense is that?" Jusis asked with an eyebrow.
"Ooh! Are there?! are there?!" Millium eye sparking.
"Honestly. I think His Highness is pulling my leg." Sara said as she scratch her hair. "But anyway, there were rumors about a crack in the sky, and then on the other side of that crack is our next field study. According to his Highness. This new land is called the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Mushroom… Kingdom?" Emma asked
"I don't think I heard of such a place." Laura said.
"A kingdom full of mushrooms? You serious Sara?" Fie asked
"Like I said. I think the prince is pulling my leg." Sara shrug. "But he arrange it that we go to this 'Mushroom Kingdom.' It's not even part of the continent."
"Wait, it's not?" Elliot asked
"Hold on. Are you saying this kingdom of mushroom is outside of the continent?" Jusis asked
"That's right. It's from that crack in the sky. And according to the prince. It's safe. He said we will have to brace ourselves. Because the Mushroom Kingdom is a whole new world."
"That rather… mysterious don't you think?" Rean asked
"Sure is. Which is why he also ask me to join you. We'll be heading to the Mushroom Kingdom at September 19. So make sure you get everything ready. Oh by the way. His Highness and the directors will be taking off in pretty short order. So I'll let you guys out of study hall early to go see them if you want."
"If you say so." Machias said.

-September 19-
At the Academy Field. The Students of Class VII arrived and then see a large airship as it land. Both Major Vander and Prince Olivert were on the ship. Even Laura's father. They all go aboard the ship and then take off. And then they begin to see in the deck. Is the crack in the sky.
"Holy crap! There really is a crack in the sky!" Elliot exclaimed
Olivert laughed. "Your expression to feel surprise is understadnable. But brace yourself. We're going to enter a brand new world together!"
-In the Mushroom Kingdom-
In the Mushroom Kingdom to Princess Peach's castle. Fireworks was going on in Toad Town. A celebration. In Toad Town. The Toads are celebrating as they were putting up festival stuff. In addition, in the castle. There lies Princess Peach. And inside there are two people along with Toads and Toadsworth.
"Oh thank you everyone! Thank you all for celebrating my birthday today." Princess Peach smiled as her guests.
"Of course Peach. We're always happy to celebrate it with you." Mario said with a smile.
"Oh yeah. But I thought the others would arrived." Luigi said.
Peach hummed. "Hmm, maybe they're preoccupied at the moment."
"Princess, your cake is here!" A toad said as he and a few other toads drag a large cake.
"Mama Mia! That-a wonderful-looking cake!" Mario said as his mouth look watery.
"Easy Mario." Luigi said.
Peach then notice the card of the cake. "Oh look! There's a card that goes with it." She pick it up and ready it. 'Happy Birthday Peach. Here's a surprise.' "What surprise?"
Then suddenly appeared out on top of the cake was none other then Bowser Jr.
"Surprise!" Bowser Jr said with a smirked on his face.
"Bowser Jr! What are you doing here?!" Mario asked
"Why to give Princess Peach her present of course. Daddy also send his regards. But I'm not alone who wish to wish Princess Peach on her birthday. Come on out guys!"
And then the Koopalings pop out of the cake as well.
"Surprise!" They greeted with the smirk.
"The Koopalings?!" Luigi exclaimed.
"Now!" Bowser Jr shout as the Koopalings hurl and toss the cake over Peach and then she was trapped inside the cake. "Gogogo!"
And the Koopalings shove Mario, Luigi and the toads out of the way and taking the cake with them.
"Come back you fiends!" Toadsworth shout as he tried to chase after them but tripped. "Master Mario, Master Luigi! Help!"
"Let a go, Luigi!" Mario said as he help his brother out.
"Oh yeah!" Luigi nodded and then they both chase the Koopalings and Bowser. Jr.
And then there was the Airship belonging to Bowser's forces and then the Koopalinga and Bowser Jr. Got on board and then flew away while Mario and Luigi are chasing after them.
-Back with Class VII-
The Airship called the Courageous exit the crack in the sky and then enter the world of the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Whoa!" Elliot exclaimed
"You got to be kidding me." Machias jaw dropped as he and the others look around from below on the deck.
"Is this for real? First we were at sea and now this?!" Alisa exclaimed.
"Unbelievable." Laura nodded.
"Holy crap." Sara said. "You certainly were not joking Prince Olivert."
Prince Olivert said in the deck as he laughed. "I believe I told you so is in order. But now. Welcome, everyone. Welcome to the whole new world outside of our very own! The Mushroom Kingdom!"
"Are we really in a different world?" Rean asked in shock.
"I think we are." Gaius said.
And then the Courageous begin to pass Toad Town.
"Are those houses mushrooms?" Emma asked.
"I think I understand it why they called it the Mushroom Kingdom." Jusis said.
"So cooool!" Millium cheered.
"Damn. I can't believe this. Hahaha. Looks like we got ourselves some fine sightseeing." Crow chuckled.
And then the Courageous landed nearby Toad Town

Then Class VII step out of the Courageous.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! We really are in another world!" Millium cheered "This is so cool!"
"You're right. What kind of place is this?" Alisa asked. "Wait, don't this place has an airport?"
"Honestly. It's best we look for ourselves. After all, this is a new environment." Laura pointed out.
"Honestly. I'm so surprised. I never imagine that we would somehow enter a different world entirely." Emma said. "Still, it's rather lovely isn't it"
"Alright folks." Sara said as she walk and then turn to them. "I get that you're all in awe and surprised. Trust me, I am as well. But right now, we should head into town. From there, we can begin the field study."
And so Class VII and their Instructor begin to head into town.
"So what's the name of this town?" Alisa asked and then Elliot see the sign.
"Toad Town." Elliot read the sign. "Toad town?"
"That's a rather… unique name." Machias said.
"Hey look at that. There are many shops here!" Elliot said as he look around the stores.
"Ooh! Look! There's even a larger store!" Millium pointed at the Coconut Mall.
"Whoa! Look at the size of it!" Rean exclaimed.
"This is quite the town we arrive in." Gaius said.
"It's nice, I'll give them that. But. Where are the townfolks?" Fie asked as she notice the town Is deserted.
"Now that you mention it. Doesn't it look a little deserted?" Crow asked
"Hmm… Something doesn't feel right?" Sara said.
"Hello? Anywhere here?" Alisa called out.
And then they heard a door open and they turn and see a toad.
"What the-" Jusis look surprised
"Mushroom people!?" Crow exclaimed
"Wait, you guys don't look bad." Said the Toad. "Hey everyone! It's okay! Come out!"
And then soon the rest of the toads came out and gather around Class VII as they all begin to chatter and question who are these newcomers.
(Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story ost - Toad Town)
"There's more of them!" Machias exclaimed
"Aww, they look adorable!" Alisa replied.
"They must be the residents of this town." Emma replied.
"Oh why hello there." Said a voice.
Class VII and Sara turn to the voice and they see an old Toad approaching them.
"Oh. Who might you be?" Emma asked
"Are you the mayor of this town?" Laura asked
"Oh no. I'm not the mayor. But who are you? I have never seen uniforms like the ones you're wearing." The old toad answered
"We're Thors Military Academy Class VII." Rean said.
"Thors Class VII?" Toadsworth title his head then click. "Ah! You must be the students Prince Olivert mention."
"Oh so you are the one we're supposed to meet today?" Sara asked
"Well, one of them. Please follow me." He requested and then Class VII to Peach's castle.
"That's quite the pink castle. Wait, we're going into a castle?!" Alisa asked.
"Quite right my dear. Please do not worry. Everything will explain monumentally." The old toad said.
In Peach's Castle

In the castle. Class VII arrived in a living room. Class VII sit down in the couch. And then Toadsworth came back with some tea.
"I must say, sir. This is quite the fine castle." Jusis said.
"Are you the king of this kingdom?" Machias asked
"No my dear boy. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Toadsworth." Toadsworth introduce himself. "Would you all like some tea?"
"Oh why yes, thank you." Emma smiled as Toadsworth's poor a cup of tea.
"If I may Toadsworth, do apologize if I sound rather discrimination. But what are you and the rest of your people?" Jusis asked
"We are Toads Master Jusis." Toadsworths answered
"Toads?"
"That's a rather interest name of species and different from our definitions of toads." Elliot said.
Toadsworth chuckled. "It's completely understandable. We Toads are also called Mushroom People due to our heads."
Jusis hummed. "Something about you reminds me of Arnauld."
"I could say the same of Klause." Laura nodded with a smile "But if you're not ruler of this nation. Who is?"
"That would be Princess Peach. I am her steward. I've known her since she was just a newborn." Toadsworth chuckled but then he sighed. "Alas, you all came at a bad time."
"Is something the matter?" Rean asked.
"Quite right I'm afraid. You see, today is the princess's birthday. We were all having a wonderful time, until she was kidnapped."
Class VII and Sara look surprised.
"Kidnapped?!" Rean exclaimed
"Who would do such a thing?" Laura asked.
"Bowser." Toadsworth answered.
"Bowser? Who's he?" Crow asked.
"He's the most rotton of all the Koopas. He's also the King of all Koopas. He's quite a troublemaker and a dangerous one at that." And then Toadsworth wasing his stick and look mad. "And the nerve of him to kidnapped the princess on her birthday!"
"That's awful!" Elliot said with a sad look on his face.
"Hmph. The utter scum is this Bowser is. Kidnapping the princess on her birthday is something that can't be overlooked." Jusis muttered.
"Hmph. Looks like you and I have an agreement there." Machias scoff.
"But why would this Bowser guy kidnapped the princess?" Alisa asked
"Oh he always pull stunts like this." Toadsworth sighed. "This isn't the first time Bowser kidnapped the princess. He kidnapped the princess so many times I've lost track. The good things is that Master Mario and Master Luigi are already on their way to rescue her."
"Wow. She been kidnapped a lot, huh?" Millium asked. "You guys must have poor defenses."
"Millium!" Alisa exclaimed. "We're so sorry about her"
"Please no not worry. Regardless our defense system. Bowser always somehow manage to kidnap the Princess." Toadsworth said.
"So this Mario and Luigi guys already going to rescue the princess, huh?" Crow asked
"Quite right. Oh, my apologize. While I've introduce myself. I don't believe I have your names."
"Oh, our apologize Toadsworth." Rean said. "My name is Rean Schwarzer. I'm a student of Class VII of Thors Military Academy."
"I'm Elliot Craig. I'm also a student of Thors." Elliot greeted.
"My name is Emma Milstein. I'm the class president of Class VII." Emma greeted with a smile.
"Jusis Albarea." Jusis greeted.
"I'm Machias Regnitz." Machias introduce himself.
"A pleasure. My name is Laura S. Arseid.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Alisa." Alisa greeted.
"Gaius Worzel. A pleasure." Gaius introduce himself.
"I'm Millium Orion!" Millium cheered
"I'm Crow Armbrust. The coolest member of Class VII." Crow said with a smirk.
"More like the laziest." Fie comment. "Fie Claussell."
"And I'm Sara Valestein. I'm their homeroom Instructor." Sara greeted them.
"The pleasure is mine." Toadsworth chuckled. "What is this Thors Military Academy?"
"It's an academy of where we hail from." Rean answered. "We actually came from that crack in the sky.
"Ah, so you all hail from another world like Prince Olivert."
"Indeed we do. How did you meet His Highness?"
"Well it's quite the story. The princess can answer most of those questions."
"Speaking of questions. I think this is the perfect time for all of us." Sara said with a smirk on her face.
"What do you mean Instructor?" Emma asked

"Today's Field Study is actually about exploring this new world Prince Oliver discovered from the other side of that crack. The original is about exploring what this world has to offer, and how different it is from our world. But now, there has been a change of plans. And I believe it will fit nicely It will be killing two birds with one stone."
"And what exactly do you mean by that?" Alisa asked
"Class VII task is to help out Mario and Luigi and rescue the princess. While also knock that Bowser guy a peg or two. He may be a king but he's a troublemaker. And we can do all that by exploring what this world has to offer."
"Instructor…" Rean look surprised.
"Are you sure? The road to Bowser's Kingdom is quite… treacherous." Toadsworth asked.
"I think we can handle it." Rean said. "After all, we been through battles of our own. Plus I am rather curious about this world we arrive in. But helping out Mario and Luigi and saving the princess of this kingdom is our priority. It makes no difference from our other class assignments on our field study. What's more, the people of the Mushroom Kingdom needs their princess back. Not just for her birthday, but also as for their hopes and spirit."
"Master Rean…"
"You're right." Laura smiled.
"Does that mean it's adventure time?" Millium asked.
"Yeah, it's adventure time." Fie answered with a nod. "It's not so different from our field studies we all been through."
"Then it's settled." Sara smiled as she nodded as she cross her arm then turns to Toadsworth. "All right Toadsworth, we'll be heading off but we will have to go to the proper direction to wherever Bowser is."
"Hohoho. Very well. I will not stop you." Toadsworth chuckled. "I should informed you all. The Mushroom Kingdom is very vast nation. There are many numbers species here, aside from we Toads."
"The Mushroom Kingdom is a very vast nation?" Gaius asked. "That sounds like we're in for a long journey."
"Ah, and speaking of journey, I nearly forgot. Please be right back." Toadsworth said as she hop off the couch and headed out of the living room.
"Wonder what he is getting?" Alisa hummed.
"Perhaps something important for us for our travels." Laura replied. "I mean we are in a different environment."
"Yeah, I have to agree." Machias nodded as he tick in his glasses. "I mean, we literally are in another world. Which is completely impossible. I mean, how exactly did all of this happen? Wait, are we really in another world?"
"Honestly, we're just as shocked and confused as you are Machias." Rean replied. "But I believe we definitely are in a whole new world. The environment, the citizens, and that crack in the sky we all witness is definitely something… out of the ordinary. There are many questions that needs some answers. It's clear that His Highness knows about it. And Princess Peach, the ruler of this nation does as well."
"Yeah, and our extra field study is suppose to learn more about this world. I have to admit. I'm very curious." Elliot nodded.
And then Class VII heard the door open and then enter the living room was Toadsworth holding a bag.
"Apologize for taking awhile. Please, take this." Toadsworth said as he gave Rean and Class VII wallets.
"These are wallets?" Rean asked
"Indeed. However, they're no ordinary wallets. They magic wallet."
"Magic?!" Alisa and the rest of her classmates and Sara look surprised.
"You mean actual magic like fairy tales?!" Machias exclaimed
"Yes. I know little of your world. But magic exist in this world. You'll find many wonders here that are beyond your homeworld's understanding. I also add in coins on each of your wallets." Toadsworth answer.
"Coins?" Emma asked
"Yes. They are the Mushroom Kingdom's currency. So I'm afraid the currency in your world is foreign here."
"Huh? Why?" Millium asked
"Yes, that's understandable." Jusis said as he cross his arm as he nodded. "We are in a new nation that works far different than our own. Erebonia and the other nations use Mira. And since we are in a new world. Our currency does not apply here."
"It is as you said young man." Toadsworth nodded. "Therefore, I apologize to you all that you cannot use your…Mira was it, here."
"No. We should be taking you Toadsworth. And Prince Olivert as well for taking care of us and telling us what we need to know." Rean smiled. "We are foreigners to this world of yours. It's only natural that we do not know about the environment here. That's why this is a field study."
"Right. I think that's enough info for now. We should get going." Sara said.
"Ah, yes. Thank you Class VII." Toadsworth chuckled. "To reach Bowser's Castle. You must exit Toad Town by heading to the east gate. May the Star Spirits protect you."
As Class VII nodded. They begin to exit the castle and then enter Toad Town and then following Toadsworth Instructions. They took to the east side of town and exit the east gate and begin their adventure.
HIIIIIIII Everyone! I been waiting to do this for so long! I am inspired! Also this is the first time someone made a Mario and Trails of cold Steel Series! I NEEEEEEED SERIES LIKE THIS TO CONTINUE! LOL sorry. Got carried away there. I'm not good at writing and I don't know a looooot of things so I'll try my best to write them as best and entertaining as I can. Also a shout out.
