"Seriously… now we're in a mountain?" Machias frowned. "Toadsworth said the path leading to the evil king is treacherous but… ugggh. I didn't think it would be THIS treacherous!"

"We're in an agreement in that front." Jusis sighed. "First it was the plain which was no problem at all. It reminded me of our time in Nord. Second was the desert, which was an experience I will not forget. Third was a region of snow and ice. The fourth was salutation since it was a resort at the beach. But then we got blasted into the jungle. And now a mountain."

"But the bright side is that we didn't have to climb all the way up." Fie said. "I can see another fortress from a distance."

There was another fortress in sight. They just have to walk up.

"And what do you know. It was close by. Perhaps we should find some Warp Pipes that can at least give us some short cut." Sara said.

"That would be a lot easier… but at the same time… it would be… Anticlimactic as well."Alisa said.

"I have to agreed." Laura nodded. "We're military students. As such, we have a duty to learn since soldiers will also experience these situation. We also gain a lot of insight from this journey as well."

"Your right. We also learn a few things about this world too. And how it's different from ours too."Rean nodded. "The culture, the people, the land, species, there are many things that is different. And there's even magic in this world. Magic that we know exist in fairy tales. And during our journeys. We also gotten stronger as well. I say coming here to rescue the princess and aiding the Mario bros was the right choice."

"Your right. There are things we still need to learn. And what this world has to offer too. Even the knowledge of this world that might come in handle to the world we live in too." Gaius added.

"Yeah. I'm curious about the technology here too." Alisa nodded.

"And also the style of swordsmanship." Laura nodded. "Or even someone I can train and learn with."

"Yeah. I want to see what else this world has to offer too." Machias nodded. "Come to think of it. I don't think there are any nobles aside from Jusis, Laura, and Rean."

"I'm curious about the music here as well." Elliot smile.

"Honestly. I don't know what else I might be interested into." Fie said.

"Oh! I'm super curious about the food here too! Not just the ones back at the beach!" Millium cheered.

"Hmm… Perhaps my brother would be interested in the Mushroom Kingdom if he isn't busy." Jusis hummed.

"I'm interested in the power-ups. Like controlling fire or ice. I can't tell which one. Oh. Maybe I can use both somehow. Or just switch." Crow smirked.

"If I can join the fun. I'm interested in the booze here. The one on the beach was preeeety nice." Sara smirked

"Of course you would." Rean sighed.

"Maybe you might have a drinking buddy if that will happen." Machias bluntly said it.

"Yep. A couple of sad depressed women drinking together and complaining to each other about their daily lives." Fie added

"Heeey! The drinking buddy I'm okay with but why do you make it sound so harsh!?" Sara pouted.

Soon the group laughed and having a good time they heard a laugh that is not theirs.

"Who was that?" Elliot asked

The group look up and then see Kamek who is flying on his broomstick

"Huh?!" Elliot look surprised.

"Is… Is that Koopa flying?!" Machias exclaimed

'Is he a wizard?' Emma asked in her thought. 'He certainly looks the part.

"Who are you? Are you another one of Bowser's Koopalings?" Rean asked

"No. I am not one of the Koopaling. But allow me to introduce myself." Kamek said. "I am Kamek. I am King Bowser's loyal adviser, magician, and most devoted servant. And you all must be Class VII. You certainly cause King Bowser a lot of trouble!"

"So you're one of this King Bowser's henchmen are you?" Jusis asked. "Well, what did you expect since your king has kidnapped the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom?"

"And if you're here… that means you're here to stop us, aren't you?" Rean asked.

"Sharp mind aren't you? It is indeed as you said." Kamek said. "I simply cannot allow you to be snooping around. Therefore. I know just the thing that can lead to you all to your demise!"

"Oh yeah? And how exactly are you gonna stop us?" Millium asked.

"Why I am glad you ask." Kamek smirked and then begin to bring out his wand and then fire some magic at the mountain.

Suddenly large number of boulders have appeared out of nowhere and starting crashing down.

"It's an avalanche!" Sara shout. "Everyone! Take cover!"

The group hurry down the mountain to avoid the rock sliding avalanche as Kamek let out his crackle. As Class VII hurry to avoid being crash by large numbers of rocks.

"WE'RE GOING TO GET CRUSHED!" Machias screamed.

"This is NOT how I wanted to die! I still have things to do!" Crow exclaimed.

Sara then notice a cave coming up. "Quickly! To that cave!"

The group begin to rush to the cave in the nick of time. They witness the boulders crashing down from the mountain and waited for the moment to pass. Soon it was over.

"That… was scary…" Elliot panted.

"How did that… guy managed to pulled that… off!?" Machias panted.

"He said… he was a magician of King Bowser… so…" Emma panted. 'I can tell he certainly a formidable foe…'

"Clearly things got a lot more interesting…" Levi panted.

"Honestly… we just got here and the nerve of that guy to summon boulders to stop us..." Sara muttered. "I think the troubles are behind us. I'll take a look." Sara then walk out of the cave and look up and around. "Okay, the coast is clear."

The group begin to exit the cave and then look where they are at now. However, it seems from where they previously were. Now they must climb ALLLLL the way back up.

"Ah damn it. We have to climb all the way there?!" Crown frowned.

"Just before things were getting good… just to turn it bad in the end…" Elliot sighed.

"I guess we have no other choice but to go through the mountain." Rean said.

"Yep. A good ol' fashion hiking." Sara said. "All right. Let's go everyone."

World 6-1 Hiking all the way back from the top.

"Well hiking in the mountain isn't bad, but it can also depend if you have everything and the temperate." Rean said. "Hiking is a good workout."

"Indeed. It also help build up your muscles and your bones." Laura nodded.

"And your health, sense of balance, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems."

"You sure know a lot about hiking benefits don'tcha Rean?" Crow asked.

"Well he is born from Ymir which is in the mountains. So it make sense for him to know this." Elliot said.

"Honestly, compared to all of you who had some training. I feel like I lag some proper exercises…" Machias sighed.

"That certainly true on your standard." Jusis said.

"What was that?!"

"And there they go again…" Elliot sighed. "Then again. As a city folk, I don't have that much muscles either…"

"Do people from the city really out of shape without some proper training?" Levi asked.

"Some yes."

"Well, not all people like to take arms on wielding a weapon or learning some martial arts." Laura said.

"That's certainly true." Fie nodded.

"So tell me Mario, Luigi, you two done hiking before when you rescue the princess?" Sara asked.

"We have. Although it was rather tiring, we did gain a lot." Mario answered. "Of course, there are things we should be aware up in the mountain."

"Like what?"

Then Laura, Fie, Rean, Sara and Levi sense an attack.

"Wait!" Levi called out to all of them and then a stone spike jump bump off the ground.

"What was that? Another boulder?" Millium asked.

Alisa look up. "No. I think it's from them."

The group see a different kind of species they didn't encounter before.

"What are those?"Jusis asked

"Those are Stone Spikes. They have an ability to create spike balls from their mouth. The one we saw was made out of stone." Mario answered.

"A spike ball? How in the hell are they able to make a spike ball from their mouth?!" Crow exclaimed.

"Another crazy Mushroom Kingdom theory beyond our understanding…" Machias sighed.

"Well if they're part of Bowser's army and are getting in our way, then we just have to take them out." Alisa said as she got her bow out. Then fire arrows at them and then knock them out.

"Yay! Now things got easier!" Luigi cheered.

"Onward to adventure!" Millium cheered.

Then the group continue their adventure to hike up. As they got a little closer however, they see a lot of Bullet Bills charging towards them.

"Bullet bills! Watch out!" Gaius said to everyone. He got his sphere out and use his Craft: Gale Stinger on them and blast them away.

"That's one way to blast the bullets at us." Levi praised. "But I sense there might be more of them…"

"That's another thing we have to worry about." Mario replied.

"Then you can leave it to me if more are going to fire at us." Gaius smiled.

The group continue their adventurers as they see Bill blaster turrets ahead. As they fire Bullet Bills. Gaius use his craft to blow them away. Literally. And Alisa fire arrows at the Stone spikes as well.

World 6-2 Underneath the mountain.

As the group made if through the Bill Blaster Turrets. They found a Warp Pipe in the mountain.

"A Warp Pipe in the mountain." Alisa said. "I think it's obvious at this point on where this leads."

"Underground." Everyone said.

"All in favor of going?" Rean asked.

Everyone raised their hand.

"Then let's go."

Then everyone went into the Green Warp Pipe.

The group then arrived at the underground at the mountain. Where they are a bunch of crystals, a stream of water.

"Look at all the jackpot here! We might make some extra cash here!" Crow smirked.

"Yeah. Maybe you can pay up the 50 Mira you borrowed." Rean chuckled.

"Wait you borrow 50 mira from him?" Levi asked.

"He has. But he already ga-" "Whoa there, Rean! No need to tell the world about it." Crow covered Rean's mouth.

"That's awfully suspicious." Machias look at Crow with a dry look on his face.

"I bet he was gambling and lost as usual." Fie replied.

"Hehehe. Crow really has bad luck, doesn't he?" Millium giggled.

Crow pouted "Hey! I don't have bad luck! I mean how can something unexpected happen to me and I end up taking the losing bet?!"

"Sucks to be you then," Levi let out a smirked as Fie chuckled.

"Hey come on! Since when is this picking on Crow day?"

They already proceeding on making through most of the underground as they defeated a few Piranha Plants. Spikes, Swoops and two fat Hammer Bros called Sledge Bros. Soon they made it out of the Cave and made it to the next area.

World 6-3(4) Stop throwing rocks at us!

"Phew. We made it out okay!" Crow cheered.

"And I bet some other shenanigan will be coming to stop us." Fie said.

"If I had to guess… I say it the Monty Moles." Luigi shrug.

"Let me guess. They're Moles?" Levi asked

"Yep. They like to throw rocks at us. So if you see Mole in the hole holding a rock. It's an enemy." Mario said.

"That's good to know. Okay. Let's get going." Rean said.

But as soon as they start moving. Rean, Laura, Levi, Fie, Crow and Sara sense an attack. Laura was the first to draw her weapon and then she slash a rock into pieces.

"What was that?!" Machias exclaimed.

"A rock?" Levi asked

"Then that means…" Emma blinked and then pop up was a Mole. Who then throw rocks at them. But Laura slash the rocks as the Mole went back into the ground. "I'm guessing that's a Monty Mole?"

"Yep. Some of them are mischief bunch. While some are friendly." Mario answered.

As they continue the path. Some of the Monty Moles was throwing rocks and Laura end up breaking them. While some of them just mind their own business and wave at them. But the one who are throwing rocks are getting annoying.

"Okay, those moles who keep throwing rocks at us is getting annoying." Alisa said.

"I got an idea!" Millium giggled. "Lammy!" Airgetlam appeared next. Change into a Hammer. Millium grab it and then slam the ground and force the Monty Moles out of the ground by the pressure.

And then everyone all out attack and pound them. Some of them went unconscious and defeated.

"All done." Alisa smiled.

And they went on their journey. While a few Monty Mole who regain conscious was like 'What just happened' look on their faces as they blink.

As Class VII return to where they were the first time. They see the Fortress at the top of the mountain. They hoping around the gasp, rock wall climbing, and arrived at the fortress entrance.

"And here we are. The fortress we were suppose to go until Kamek showned up." Alisa said.

"Although there's no doubt he will appear before us again." Emma stated.

"And he's one of Bowser's powerful generals too. He's also a tricky one." Mario said.

"We need to be cautions with him. Let us be off then and deal with the next Koopaling." Jusis nodded.

Then they enter the castle.

World 6-castle- Morton the Meathead

As the group arrived at the Fortress entrance. The design this time was as usual with lava, but with pendulum platform.

"What is with the Lava already? I mean this is getting old and too dangerous." Alisa sighed.

"Not to mention this time we have anchor like platforms to jump to avoid the Lava." Levi added.

"Should we do the same thing as last time?" Elliot asked.

"That would be safer and quicker." Fie nodded.

"Okay then." Elliot approached the platform and then use his Water Art Malestorm and then cool the Lava to harden. Then the Pendulum platform stop moving.

"Shall we?" Jusis asked

And then everyone was off. As they were off. They encounter Dry bones but soon dealt with them. As they arrived. There was a green Pipe. They use it and then went down. Now they arrived at the bottom floor and then see the same thing. Except they see Spike Balls falling from a spiked platform above.

"And now the second part of this fortress is the spike balls falling from the ceiling." Laura said. "As well as the Lava.

"Then we just have to be careful if the Lava were to harden. Because those spike balls will line up and get us more trouble is we take too long." Sara advised.

"Then all we have to do is ran like heck." Crow said.

"Sounds like a plan." Rean said. "Elliot."

"Righty-o." Elliot smiled and did the same thing again.

And then everyone run as fast as they can while trying to avoid a strong brain damage to the head. As a few second before the spike balls falling down. The group begin to take down a few dry bones and Big dry bones. Soon eventfully they found the boss door. They enter the door and arrived at the Corridor.

The group did the usual thing. Walk through the corridor and then enter the large area.

"So you come." A new voice said.

Then a dark brown skin Koopa with a gray star mark on the left side of his face appeared.

"Okay this one is different from the others." Millium said.

"I was honestly going to say that." Alisa replied

"You know. You and the rest of the Koopalings need better entrance then just jumping off from the platform." Machias said.

"Yeah, seeing the same old villain appearing thing again and again with new faces is getting old." Crow agreed.

"But wasn't the one name Wendy was a bit different?" Levi asked.

"Oh right, forgot about her."

"AHEM!" The Koopa respond. "If you're done. I'm just surprise you made it back after your rock fall with Kamek."

"Yeah. It was fortunate for us that we found a cave to take shelter." Rean said. "If I have to guess who you are. You must be… Morton, correct?"

"Good guess."

The Ironhead of the Koopaling - Morton Koopa Jr.

"I am Morton Koopa Jr. Mario and the green one I understand but the rest of you I do not. Why would you join them? This has nothing to do with you." Morton replied.

"Your wrong." Rean said.

"What?"

"Although there are some truth to that fact. However, this was our decision. We decided to help the Mario bros rescue the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom because we feel like it."

"You feel like it? Bah! It matters not. If you stand against King Bowser. Then you will suffer! That's all you need to know!" Morton then ready to fight. "To Battle!"

Morton charge in with his first. While the group dodge it and Class VII and Levi brought out their weapons of choice. The first to fight Morton head on was Mario who lock in a fist fight. Then Morton launches an uppercut and push Mario aside. Then Gaius swirl his Spear then charge in and strike at Morton front. Morton was push back while Emma launch her Craft: Ethereal Edge, Elliot's Arts attack and blast Morton with it. Then Morton grab his Wand and launch a large sphere of magic at Emma and Elliot who jump dodge out of the way. Then Levi charge in and launch some trust attack as Morton dodge, and Jusis join in and launch some slashes and trust. Morton jump high and then launch a powerful ground pound and temporally stun the group. Morton launch a powerful punch onto Levi and Jusis. Machias then use his Craft: Break Shot at him. Morton protect himself by using his arms. Then Crow launch some bullet strikes at Morton as well. Then Millium use Buster Arm onto Morton. While Morton is getting push back. He growled as he stomp his feet.

"Too many of you! Now I'll get serious!" Morton pulled out his wand and then it shape-shift into a large Hammer.

"That's a huge hammer!" Luigi exclaimed.

"MORTON TIME!" Morton roared and then slam his magic hammer ground and cause a strong shockwave onto everywhere. Morton then launch a strong spin attack as he charge towards Sara.

Sara dodge it with her lighting flash reflexes but Morton is still going at it. Once Morton got all dizzy. Sara launch some lighting flash strike and then a powerful kick on Morton face. Morton was push back and got even angrier. Then Laura and Fie charge in and combated Morton. Fie use her swift speed strike onto Morton who guard himself. Then Fie strike through Morton and catch him off guard. Then Laura follow up with some powerful strike and push Morton back. Morton got in his shell and launch a fast shell dash attack while everyone else dodge the bast they can. But some like Millium. Machias, Alisa and Elliot got hit by Morton's attack. Next Morton charge towards Emma who was gonna dodge next. But then Morton came out of his shell and then hammer slam her hard and send her flying. Sara use her Craft Flash and strike Morton. Mario and Luigi charge in with close combat. Mario launch his fist with Morton who block it, then Luigi jump over his brother, pull out his hammer and them hit Morton on the head, follow up by Mario upper punch and follow up by Luigi who is behind Morton next launch a hammer swing attack and knock Morton to the side. As Morton Roll over. He got back up and then He conjored up some Spike balls and launch them towards the group. Crow, Rean and Levi got hit by them along with Gaius and Alisa. While Fie dodge them, Laura swing them and Emma was so close to get hit by them. Morton then breathe fire towards Elliot as Elliot run in a panicked. Then Morton launched himself towards Elliot but then Sara got in the way and block his hammer attack. But overwhelm Sara with his strength. Then Levi use his craft called Vortex Plunger as he draw in Morton into a vortex of wind, once Morton was drawn in. He leap into the air and then crash down into a plunger attack. Now Gaius and Millum charge in as Millium launch herself as Airgetlam sppear by her side and spin uppercut Morton and Gaius use his Craft: Savage Fang and push Morton back rolling. Alisa then Cast a Space Art onto Morton and deal some damage and finally Rean strike through Morton and allowing Mario to launch another uppercut attack on Morton. As Morton was send flying. He crash onto the floor and lie there defeated.

"Phew. That guy knows how to give out a battle." Crow said.

"Still, his fighting style is a bit reckless." Sara said.

"That's Morton's style. He choose brawns over brain." Mario said.

"Like a barbarian." Jusis comment. "Then again, he is one."

"I'm kinda feel bad he's been called one though." Elliot said with a nervous smile.

"At any rate. I'm getting we all know the drill here. Each time we defeated a Koopaling. We heard to our next destination." Levi said.

"And the final Koopaling who will block us from reaching Bowser's domain would be Ludwig." Rean nodded. "What can you tell us about Ludwig."

"Ludwig is the genius of all the Koopalings. He's also a gifted inventor and other things. But he likes to show off." Mario answered.

"Plus he's also an odd one. Although I did hear he's also love classical music and interesting in composing." Luigi added

"Really?" Elliot asked. "Now I'm curious about him."

"With the enemy Elliot?" Jusis asked.

"Anyway, we should get going now. That Warp Pipe over there can take us to where this Ludwig may be." Levi suggested as see the Green Warp Pipe at the secret department that was open it after Morton's defeat.

-Meanwhile at Bowser's Castle-

Back at Bowser's castle. Bowser was thinking until Kamek burst into the Throne Room.

"Your Nastiness! I have terrible news! But it is as we predicted already!" Kamek exclaimed

"You mean Mario, Green 'statch, and those Class VII brats still survive after your rock avalanche?!" Bowser growled.

"Yes. They must have escaped into a random save. I tried to found out which one and seal them in but they already reach Morton and defeated him!"

"Ugh! All that's left is Ludwig. If they get pass him then they'll reach my domain! Kamek, gather our some of our troops and anything Ludwig needs to take those Class VII, Mario and Green 'statch out!"

"As you wish Your Nastiness." Kamek nodded. "But knowing Ludwig, I'm assume he already know what to do now."

Bowser rub his chin again.

"Is something the matter Your Evilness?" Kamek asked

"No. Just a thought. But we can be worried about that later. Just make sure you destroyed them for good!"

"It certainly won't be easy with their persistence but I'll do what I can to slow them down. Lucky, they'll reach the sky area. So we'll just give them a nice fall."

Looks like they'll be heading towards the Koopa Kingdom sooner than expected. Here's hoping for an epic battle
