CHAPTER 1- VIOLENT PASSION

a story by MarZ

two girls stand together in the dark streets of royal woods 9:30 pm. one girl pulls the other into an alley and utters a demand

"stay away from him?" the girl questioned, taken aback by the audacity of the demand.

"who are you to tell me to stay away from MY BOYFRIEND?" the girl shouted.

"I'm his sister" replied a monotone voice.

"BULLSHIT!" the girl paused after her outburst and focused herself, not an ounce of anger left her body but she focused her resolve.

the girl looked her boyfriend's sister dead in the eyes and spoke calmly.

"don't play the "concerned sister" card, I've seen how you look at him, I've know how you pester him to always know where we are going, and I've seen how you look at ME! you hate me and you have from the start."

she sighed in frustration

"Listen, I don't know what kinda sick crush you have on your brother but he and I have been dating for MONTHS." the girl slammed emphasis into that last word, allowing some of the anger and annoyance she felt to seep through.

"leave me and Lincoln alone" the girl said calmly as she turned to leave

"He. Is. Mine." Lincoln's sister flatly stated, her eyes cast to the floor

the girl stopped mid stride as she walked and turned to face her loves sibling, the anger she had control of now visible on her face

"he is your BROTHER."

the tall girl shoved her boyfriend's sibling

"he will NEVER love you the way he loves ME!"

she shoved her again

"LINCOLN WILL NEVER LOVE YOU!"

the girl took a deep breath and once again calmed herself. "why now? why after months of us dating, do you try to split us up? how you felt has been obvious from the start"

Lincoln's sister just stood there expressionless

"it's because we went all the way yesterday isn't it?"

the girl gave a little laugh

"what? you're mad I fucked MY BOYFRIEND?"

the sister's blank expression then turned to one of immense anger

"I bet you were right outside his door listening like the perverted fucking creep you ar-"

"shut your mouth" simply stated the monotone voice, cutting off the other girls rant

"huh?-" suddenly a box cutter swiped across the girls lips, splitting them in two vertically

the girl's eyes flew open in shock as she grasped her bleeding lips, about to scream-

but no scream came out.

she hadn't noticed the second attack and as a line of blood began to show, dripping from her neck, slowly the cut opened as she fell back unable to breathe.

sliced jugular vein exposed, gasping for air in a pool of her own blood, laid Stella Zhau, Lincoln's girlfriend of 7 months.

Stella held her neck, desperate to hold onto her life, still completely in shock as Lincoln's sister picked Stella's phone from her pocket and took Stella's hand, with the press of Stella's index finger the phone was unlocked and her murderer began typing.

2 days later 6:30 pm. the loud residence.

within the converted linen closet he calls his room, a boy wept as his sister offers him a hug of comfort

"there is no need to cry brother" a 13 year old lucy loud stated with her usual lack of emotion "you'll find love"

the sobbing boy held firm to the embrace of his sister and responded in a hushed whisper "you don't get it Lucy, after Ronnie ann left I..." he pulls away from the hug to look her in the eyes, well, bangs but her eyes are there.

"I was so lonely Lucy...I thought Stella might be the one, I really liked her. I thought she'd stick around, but it seems like I just got left again"

Lucy frowned and brought Lincoln into another embrace "you're amazing Lincoln, don't you ever forget it, you're my light in this world and i-"

Lucy cut her own words short as she looked into her brothers eyes. Lincoln looked so vulnerable, so crushed, so broken. Lucy was sure he needed something, someone, anybody to love him in this moment. now was her time.

Lucy leaned in to kiss her brother, her one true love, the man she saw as her soul mate.

and then a knock shook the door

"dinner time stincoln!" called his sister Lynn

Lucy quickly backed her face away, Lincoln seemingly oblivious to her advance.

Lincoln wiped his tears and thanked Lucy.

together they stood and made their way to the dining room

two days ago Stella had sent Lincoln a simple text

"we're breaking up"

he hasn't slept since then

no words of explanation followed the statement, it was simply the declaration that things between them were over. The boy was crushed. Lincoln made attempt after attempt and sent message after message to contact her, he needed something, any explanation as to why she left him.

the following day Lincoln found himself knocking on the Zhau residence, asking to speak to Stella.

her father met him with anger at first, then confusion. the man assumed she was with Lincoln.

Stella had sent each of her parents a unique goodbye, saying she could no longer live under their roof.

Stella's parents were deeply invested in the Catholic faith, something of which Stella did not agree with. argument after argument and time and time again she was told she can follow the faith or leave.

her mother was devastated, her father on the other hand showed no emotion, in his mind there was two options and it was clear she made her choice. he assumed she moved in with her boyfriend but clearly she ditched him too.

Lincoln was blindsided by this information. she left her whole life behind..

including him.

why did she leave him?

she loved him right?

she couldn't even tell him why?

Lincoln brought his mind to the last interaction he and Stella had, they had made love, Lincoln's first time doing so infact, he had reservations and self doubt.

slowly the thought creeped in that maybe he wasn't good enough for her. Did Stella leave him because he didn't satisfy her? that must be it, that was the last time they were together.

the realization crushed Lincoln like a fat woman falling on her dog.

He returned home a wreck that night. Lincoln and Lucy had always been close and she was quick to be his shoulder to cry on.

that day he was inconsolable, akin to a father who signed a divorce that was "both of their idea" and subsequently lost the kids, his (ex) wife clearly fucking the gardner

his self doubt fused with his loneliness and he became caught in a state of woe and exhaustion, his only relief being Lucy

and it's been that way since

Lincoln and Lucy arrive at the dinner table, taking their seats, they suddenly realize no one is there yet.

Lynn senior walks in from the kitchen and places a stack of dishes on the table, arranging them in preparation for serving. he catches a glimpse of his sole son and gloomy daughter and raises an eye brow

"you're early for dinner?" he said more like a question than a statement

Lincoln shrugged and sighed, sadness still evident on his tired face "Lynn told us dinner was ready"

Lynn senior shrugged as well as the smile returned to his face " that's odd, Mac and cheese bites aren't even done yet." Lynn senior paused and his smile grew

" I suppose this means you two could be my little helpers today with dinner huh?"

Lincoln simply didn't feel like it, preparing to deny his father's request, Lincoln looked over to Lucy and was surprised as she flashed an uncharacteristic smile.

he rose and accepted his father's proposal with a smile, suddenly invigorated.

Lincoln, Lynn sr., and Lucy put the finishing touches on dinner. Although the main dishes were done and ready to serve, Lincoln prepared a salad while Lucy dished out the servings

Lynn's two greatest loves in his life were his family and cooking and although it wasn't much, anytime he spent time in the kitchen with his children was precious. when all the preparations were made he called out to the rest of his family, informing them of the meal being ready.

a stampede could be heard as the ground shook and a trail of dust swept down the stairs and into the chairs seated at the dining table.

when the smoke settled the loud sisters sat in their respective seats, save for Lucy, she opted to keep her seat next to Lincoln.

as Rita walked in and took her seat. the family was together and happily they enjoyed their dinner. As they laughed together, smiled together, and spent thier evening savoring thier fathers food, Lincoln felt the joy of his family, the pride of his father, the love of those around him and suddenly..

he didn't feel so lonely

not everyone was contempt at the dinner table, one person sat still and reserved as they ate. staring at Lincoln

A/N: yo it's MarZ here and I'm giving fanfiction writing a shot, I've been an avid reader and fan of loud fics for some time, my favorites of which being the works of Lola presents (check her out, amazing writer)

the last fan fiction I wrote was an oc self insert I wrote in middle school. I re-read it and it hurt to read, I cringed so hard I shit my pants. currently I'm wearing Huggies just in case I remember how awful it was.

anyways all these years later I decided to give it another shot

I'm going to try my best to keep punctuation and Grammer correct but I suck lol. any and all feed back is greatly appreciated.

(let's pretend all the weird spaces, bad pacing, and grammatical fuck ups are intentional choices of stylization)

my favorite author inspired me to write again (by "inspired" I mean she casually told me I should try again like two months ago) and I want to see what people think.

so pm me and leave those reviews, I'll answer non spoiler questions.

I can't say I have a set plan on the length of this story but it will be atleast a right now it's atleast 8 chapters

thank you for your time and read on cause it doesn't go the way you think
