For Koda, it had been a fairly normal day at U.A. so far. Get up earlier than reasonable, get some early morning practice in, go downstairs and have lunch with his sweet classmates who were all understanding of his selective mutism and have a decent, if tiring day of racking their brains and pushing their bodies until they burned in training.

Yes, for all intents and purposes, nothing about this particular day had stood out to Koda, like days where things would go wrong in the past normally would, so you could imagine his surprise when walking past his own classroom during lunch he heard his teacher's voice from inside.

"No, no! Tokoyami, we do NOT try to eat our friends!"

'...What?'

Despite the fact he knew he shouldn't, that caught his curiosity too much and he found himself leaning an ear against the door, only to be met with more words he never expected to hear.

"A-Ah! No! Ochako, don't pee there! You'll electrocute yourself and it's already hard to clean up!"

'...Did… Did Ochako pee herself in class?!'

"Izuku! Stop licking your private areas and- Don't lick Sato's face right after!"

'W-What?! What on earth are they doing in there?!'

"Ah! No no no! Down, Kirishima! You're going to scare Koda!"

'C-CLONES?! Am- Am I the clone?! Am I an impostor?! Did i not notice when a quirk made me and now i'm just doomed to blip out of existence one days as nothing more than a Koda-Been?!'

"Iida, stop mounting Kyouka, she doesn't like that!"

With a horrified gasp, Koda knew he could wait no longer, clone or not, he had to do something! He threw the door open with a determined heroic look…

And faltered at the sight of Bubble Girl, their homeroom teacher, standing with practical tears of frustration in her eyes surrounded by cats, dogs, one or two rabbits and some guinea pigs… and was that an actual pig in the background?

Turning to the source, Bubble Girl almost instantly fell over in relief. "Oh non-bunny Koda! thank god! Please help, I said i'd look after some shelter pets that got left on U.A's door step until we got them back to a proper safe place and I did not realize how unprepared I was! Please help!"

'R-Right!" he signed, looking at all the animals and quickly using his quirk to make them all calm down, sit down and go to different stations. Once they were tamed, he turned to her with confusion, as he continued signing. 'So… Why do they have our names?'

A bright purple blush took up Bubble Girl's face… and a blush of his own would light up on Koda's face at her sincere, if shy, yelped answer.

"I couldn't help it, they're all as cute as all of you so the names just fit!"

'...Well at least it explains why "Tokoyami" tried to eat someone in our classroom.'
