Operation Testament
Short story
A squad of 14 Blackwatch Mercenaries approaches a building in a helicopter. From the looks of it, it was a Japanese house with two floors. One of them speaks,
"This is Alpha 7-1 to all fireteams, we are approaching the LZ, copy"
"Everyone please be advised that we are weapons free once we enter the building, over," says the squad leader
"Copy," says all the rest of the mercs
They all landed in front of the building by fast roping off the helicopter then they opened the front gate then they all huddled to the front door. The commander of the squad told seven of the other mercs to go around back and clear it while the rest got the front door. The seven of the mercs moved quickly and silently to the back door, then waited till they were ready to breach. The explosive expert was called to the front and was told to put breach charges on the hinges of the door, then they did. The explosive expert told the rest of the squad to stand clear, then the expert blew open the door, *BOOM*. The door was blown off its frame then four of the mercs entered the front door clearing it, it was clear then the rest entered. They heard a loud commotion in the living room so six of them went there to check it out quickly. They called for the others that were in the back but they responded back that they weren't in the living room so the mercs threw in a stun grenade into the living room to make sure whatever that's in there is stunned. They breached the door that goes into the living room and they saw a girl roughly fifteen years old with long silver hair, but the contract they were given they were told to kill anyone that were not the HVTs so they put a bullet in their head *THUM*. Then they checked the living room and the body, they looked at the dead body giving it a glance then checking the pulse. They were dead with no pulse and shot to the head.
The other seven in the back enter the building through the back door and they encounter two people; one with light blue hair and the other with dark blue hair. One of the people tried to talk to the mercs but the mercs just opened fire on them. Both of the people dove into cover then one of the mercs threw a nine-stunner into where the two persons were. Both of the people were stunned from the yelling and screaming they heard, so the mercs pushed up upon them then shot and killed both of the people, from the looks of it they tried to make a fighting stance but were too late for that.
That commotion alerted the rest of the Mercs in the other room to ask what was going on and they replied back with,
"It was not our HVTs, just some rats"
So they continued upstairs, in which they met a barrier of sorts and from the looks of it, it was mostly made of earth. The squad leader decided to punch it. Nothing happened, so next thing was to ask for a lift to the roof from the heli. A few minutes later the heli comes around and gives six of the best in the squad to check out the upstairs. They quickly roped out of the helicopter onto the roof then they dropped onto the balcony. They opened the window from the balcony to one of the bedrooms then they quietly entered through the window into the bedroom. They entered the room, they could smell a strong scent of bodily fluids from a male and female though quietly moved towards the door then they opened the door that led into the hallway. As they opened the door they saw a seal of sorts so the first thing that came to mind was to look around to see if anyone was nearby and there was nobody in sight so they checked their sensors and there were three in the room next door. They entered the hallway and told the rest through comms that they were able to go through and enter through the window in a bedroom. They also said that they saw a seal of sorts so they are prepared to de-seal but also that once they do it, it'll alert the user so they need to be as fast as possible. The squad leader agrees with the mercs behind the earth wall, so in a countdown they numbered off from 3

The team where the seal was, they broke it then the main squad pushed up the stairs into the room where the other unknown three people were, then upon opening the door tossed in a nine-stunner. Six mercs entered the room from what they saw was a tanned voluptuous female demon in odd clothing, a young red haired girl with a blanket covering her body, and a young muscular man with brunette hair with scars all over his body. They all faced each other then the demon made the first attack on one of the mercs but was a wee bit too slow and so she was shot in the head by three of the mercs then the mercs focus was towards the other two the brunette and the redhead. The red haired girl was behind the young man scared. She looked at the mercs that were in the room wondering why weren't the others coming then it came to both the young man and the girl. The young man became enraged then pulled out his weapon but as the young man was matrializing his sword from his right arm he was butted in the face from one of the mercs hitting him with the butt of his gun. The young girl screamed from shock that even him was knocked out by something so little then the merc continued his beating to make sure he won't get up. The girl backed up from the mercenaries to the window. She tried to open it with one of her arms but she could hear the sounds of helicopter blades nearing again. She starts to cry and tells them to get back, then she gets butted in the head by one of the mercs' guns.
Mio wakes up in the helicopter hands tied, a cloth over her mouth, and is dressed in her school uniform for some reason. She takes a look around and sees that she's surrounded by unknown people that looked like soldiers most of them looks asleep,so she then tries to use her magic but it doesn't come to her at all for some reason, then one of the mercs notices so they move towards her squatting down taking a look at her face. They then say,
"Do you know why you're here?" Mio nods her head
"Well small story short, we've kidnapped you and your brother," they replied back
"Why you may ask, well because it was contract we took" they looked out the window "also if your wondering the contractor is anonymous so we won't know until we meet at the LP,"
Mio struggles to take off her face covering then the merc takes it off her for her to speak,
"Basara is going to kill all of you!" Mio screached
"Haa~, it really looks like you have no idea what's going on here… That's good I guess,"
"Wh-What? What do you mean?" Mio asked nervously
"Lets just say he's put for trial," The Merc replied back
"Hey 4-3! Can you shut her up please," said one of the other mercs trying to sleep
"Yeah," 4-3 replied back
Then before Mio was able to say anything the merc put the cloth back on her mouth then was swiftly knocked out from a hit to her neck.
Basara wakes up in a metal box with a single light hanging at the top. He realized that his arms are tied together by some sort of magic though it one he is not familiar with so he tries to rip it apart, though in doing so he gets electrically shocked and so he screams of pain, then he falls onto the cold metal ground. Basara gets up from ground without moving his arms too much, after he gets up something abruptly sounds from speakers somewhere in the room,
"Basara, you have been chosen as a test subject. Be glad you weren't killed unlike you're other companions,"
"WHERE'S MIO!" Basara yells angrily
Silent happens
"HEY! WHERE'S MIO!" Basara yells again
"We cannot disclose that information," the Speaker sound back
This severely angered Basara so he tries to materialize his weapon only to be shocked again, again, and again. He falls onto the ground hard twitching. His vision is fading in and out, and wondering why this is happening. Then a familiar voice speaks out
"Basara,"
It was Yuki's voice.
The Mercs met up with the contractor with both mio and Basara in a jeep, then the contractor came in by their own vehicle. They got out of their vehicle wearing a cloak with a hood, then the contractor pulled down their hood and it was a girl with light blue hair. It was surprising that the ones that had already killed her once before, so they pulled out their rifles.
"Hey! Pull down your rifles!" the squad leader yells "Sorry my subordinates attitude,"
"No it's okay it was to be expected," the
"Hmm? You thought of this situation?"
"Yeah I did, though it does feel odd," she responds back "Anyways, here's your payment of the contract"
Then she pulls out a black card out of her cloak pocket then hands it over to the squad leader.
"Are you sure the money is in there?" the squad leader asks suspiciously
"Yes it's in there," she responds back with confirmation
The Squad leader takes the card then puts it in his pouches on his belt. The squad leader then gestures to his subordinates to bring the two out and put them in the contractor's vehicle. Two Mercs grab both Basara and Mio out of their jeep then put them in the contractor's vehicle. Then one by one mercs start disappearing by a mysterious light then the last one the squad leader looks back at the girl in blue hair
"Hey what's your name?" he asked
"Naruse Yuki," she replies back
"I'll remember that name, we'll probably meet again," he says back then he disappears as well.
Yuki looks around then her phone starts ringing then she picks it up
"Hello?"
"Hey it's me, got the package come get it, I'll send you the coordinates,"
Then the call ends.
