Drusilla and Jordan had continued to plan the wedding over the last three weeks. They were making a lot of progress. They had a church, invitations and reception hall picked out. Drusilla was going shopping for a dress in two days, on Sunday morning. It was Friday evening. Drusilla was dropping Lisa off at Randy's apartment for the weekend.

"Give mommy a hug." Drusilla said. She hugged her.

"Love you mommy.."

"I love you too." "Be good for daddy."

"I will." Drusilla left.

A few hours later Drusilla had made herself dinner. She was getting ready to get in the shower. Her phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hi baby." Jordan said.

"Hi."

"It must be a full moon." "I've delivered three babies and there's more to come." "I'll probably sleep at the office tonight." "I just wanted to tell you I love you."

"i love you too."

"I've gotta go."

"Bye."

"Bye."

After her shower Drusilla changed into her pajamas and laid down in her bed. She was watching TV. Her phone rang.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hey." Randy said. "Is Lisa's Gloworm at your house." "I can't find it anywhere." "She won't go to sleep without it."

"I'm sure I packed it." "I'll look for it, text you if I find it and bring it over."

"Ok." They hung up.

Drusilla looked all around the house and couldn't find it. She put on a coat, still in her pajamas and went out to the car. She found it in the backseat on the floor. She text Randy to let him know she found it and headed back to his apartment.

When Drusilla went into Randy's apartment he and Lisa were on the couch.

"You found Glowy." Lisa said happily.

"Now it's time for bed." Randy said.

"Bedtime story daddy."

"No."

"Please."

"A short one."

"Come with us." Lisa said looking at Drusilla.

"Ok."

Lisa had fallen asleep during the story. Drusilla and Randy went downstairs.

"I'm gonna have a glass of wine." Randy said. "Wanna join me?"

"One glass." "I have to drive."

They were sitting on the couch drinking their wine.

"How's your recovery going?" Drusilla asked.

"Good." "How have you been?"

"Good." "I've just been busy." "Working, taking care of Lisa, planning the wed- She stopped.

Randy put down his glass. "We need to talk."

She put down her glass. "What's up?"

"I um, I still have feelings for you "

"Randy, don't do this." "You know why we broke up."

"I know but I know we can make it work."

"We tried that."

"We can try again." "I love you Drusilla."

"I've gotta go." She said struggling not to cry. She stood up and went for the door. Randy followed her. They were both to the door.

"Dru." Randy turned her around and kissed her. She kissed him back for about twenty seconds then broke it

"I'm sorry I can't." She said tearfully. She left.
