Two days had passed. Drusilla asked to meet Randy at his place so they could talk. She was on her lunch hour. She knocked on his apartment door. He answered it.
"Hi." He said smiling.
"Hi." She went inside. They kissed and sat on the couch. "Randy, I don't want to hurt you."
"Then don't." "Come back to me." "I love you."
"I know you do." "We can't get back together."
"Why, because of your boyfriend?"
"Partly yes, but you know it wouldn't work out." "We both know."
"It would work this time."
"How?" "What's different?"
"We are." "We were new parents before." "That added stress to us."
"That wasn't the only thing that was stressful for us." "You know I couldn't handle you on the road." "That caused a lot of our fights." "We both agreed not being together was the best for us and for Lisa."
"We were wrong." "We belong together, as a family."
"I've moved on with my life Randy."
"It didn't seem like it the other night, when we made love."
"That was nice." "Not just the sex part." "It was nice to feel you holding me again, to be close to you." "It isn't our life anymore." "I'm with Jordan, I love Jordan." "I'm still thinking about telling him." "I've felt so bad." "Jordan would never cheat on me."
"If you were really over me, it wouldn't have happened."
"I have to go."
"No." He kissed her. She kissed him back, broke it got up and left.
Later that night Jordan was at work in his office. The hospital administrator, Donna came into the room and shut the door.
"Why haven't you responded to me?" She asked.
"I've been busy." "I'm sorry." "I'll perform the procedure myself."
"What procedure?" She asked confused.
"The abortion."
"Abortion?" "No." "I want the baby."
"Ok, we'll work it out." "Shit." He thought.
