Drusilla had accepted the transfer to St. Louis at work earlier that day. She was putting Lisa to bed.
"I have something to tell you Lisa." Drusilla said. "Mommy and daddy are getting back together."
"Yay!" She said happily.
"Daddy doesn't know yet." "It's a surprise." "We're gonna go live with him."
"In Ouri?
"Yes in Missouri."
"Mommy loves you." "Goodnight."
"Night mommy." "Love you."
A half hour later Randy walked through the front door.
"Hey baby." Randy said.
"Hi." He sat down next to her on the couch. They kissed. "Guess what."
"What?"
"I accepted the transfer today."
He smiled. "You did?"
"Yeah." "I'm still scared but I want us to be together." "I love you Randy."
"I love you too." "Does this mean we can get married?"
"If the first couple months go well, then yes."
"Come here." They kissed.
