Hey guys, Laughalota here. I'm not dead, just been busy with life and stuff. This might be the last story I post here since I have created a Wattpad account so I can make original stories. So, I'd figured we'd end things on a high note, by making a sequel to one of my best works. I hope you enjoy.

RWBY IS PROPERTY OF ROOSTER TEETH

CUPHEAD IS PROPERTY OF STUDIO MDHR

It had been quite some time since worlds collided. Two teams of warriors from the World of Remnant were transported to the cartoon world of Inkwell Isle, and had teamed up with brothers Cuphead and Mugman to save their souls from the clutches of The Devil himself. In the end, the team triumphed over the demon, saving the inhabitants of the Isle. That was then, and this is now, for a new journey is about to unfold.

Cuphead and Mugman were walking through Inkwell Isle I, humming to themselves. Ever since they defeated The Devil, the two were regarded as heroes by everyone, even the bosses they defeated. Friends and foe alike waved as they passed by, heading to a pier.

"Alright, Cuphead, we're here!" Mugman said, placing a fishing box on the wooden dock. Said box opened, fishing gear popping out of it and bouncing into the brothers' hands.

"Bet I can catch more fish than you!" Cuphead proclaimed.

"We'll see about that!" Mugman replied. The two brothers then began to fish….And fish….And fish….And fish for what felt like four hours.

"Well….This is getting boring." Cuphead stated, releasing a fish he just caught.

"Yeah," Mugman agreed, "So…What should we do now?"

Cuphead stood up on the pier, stating, "Mugman, what we needs is a new adventure! It's been too long since we've been running and gunning, beating up bad guys, and making questionable life choices!"

"Well, I would agree with you, bro." Mugman said, also standing up, "But, it's not like a new adventure is gonna come calling for us."

"Hello there, yoohoo!" A voice called from the sea. The cup bothers spun around, and saw a figure on a wooden boat paddling towards them.

"Well…Me and my big mouth.." Mugman deadpanned. The Boatsman stopped by the pier, climbing up onto it. He wore a long blue robe, and had a compass-like face.

"Pardon my sudden arrival, young ones, but are you perchance Cuphead and Mugman, the ones who defeated The Devil?" He asked the two.

"That depends, who's askin'?" Cuphead asked, not trusting this mysterious guy one bit.

"There is no need to get hostile, for I am not here to fight, but to deliver a message." The Boatsman stated.

"A message? From whom?" Mugman asked.

"Why, the Legendary Chalice, of course!" The Boatsman replied.

Both brothers' jaws fell to the floor with a clang. It had been a while since they had heard from Chalice, their ghostly friend who gave them their super arts. And now, she had a message for them? It was most intriguing.

"Okay, we're listenin''" Cuphead said.

"The Legendary Chalice bid me carry a message to you." The Boatsman explained, "She needs your help…A far off Isle…A mysterious discovery…The boat awaits you. Shall we depart?"

"A far-off Isle, a mysterious discovery?" Cuphead repeated. Stars filled his eyes, "Mugman, this is it! This is our new adventure! Let's go!"

"Well, if you want to, then I want to!" Mugman stated.

"Marvelous, then climb aboard!" The Boatsman said.

The two brothers boarded the wooden boat with the mysterious figure, as he paddled away from the pier, and into the open waters. The sun shined bright above them, seeming to watch them on their journey. This was the beginning…of The Delicious Last Course.

Soon, the brothers had arrived at the new Isle, which was made up of several different regions packed into one island. They thanked the Boatsman, and climbed onto a wooden dock. Cuphead looked around, not seeing Chalice anywhere.

"What could Legendary Chalice be lookin' for all the way out here?" He asked Mugman.

"Gosh, cuphead, I don't know…. I hope she's okay." his brother replied. "We sure are far from home." As if on cue, a portal to the Astral Plane opened up, and there was the Legendary Chalice herself, holding a cookie in her hands.

"Jumpin' jellybeans, you boys made it!" Chalice said, happy to see her friends after so long, "I have the most amazing news, and it all has to do with this here cookie. Take a bite and see for yourselves."

With that, Chalice gave the cookie to Mugman, who took a bite. And instantly, to Cuphead's surprise, both of them had switched their planes of existence! Mugman was now anchored to the astral plane, while the Legendary Chalice herself had a physical body again, complete with a cyan skirt and gold heels.

"It worked! It really worked! I'm alive again!" Chalice exclaimed, jumping for joy.

"But now, I'm a ghost!" Mugman said in shock. Ms. Chalice then ran off, gesturing for the boys to follow her.

"What's going on here? Everything's gone topsy turvy!" Cuphead said.

"Follow me, boys! I'll explain everything!" Chalice called back. She led the two cups into a small village, a bakery at the center of it. "For ages, I've been trying to find a way to escape the astral plane, but nothing worked." Chalice explained, "Until now! Boys, let me introduce you to.." Ms. Chalice opened the doors to the bakery, and motioned towards the counter, "Chef Saltbaker! The greatest chef in all the lands!"

An anthropomorphic saltshaker appeared from behind the counter, wearing a chef's outfit, and smiling warmly at the trio.

"Welcome friends, welcome to my bakery!" The chef greeted, "Ah, Ms. Chalice! I see my cookie has worked wonders on you!" But that wonder was short lived, as Ms. Chalice began glowing.

"Oh my stars!" She exclaimed, before swapping places with Mugman, becoming stuck in the Astral Plane once more, "I'm a ghost again!"

"Oh my! A finicky thing, that cookie. The taste is sweet, but the effect is brief." Saltbaker explained, "Fret not, though, my concerned little cups." The chef then pulled out a recipe sheet for something called, "The Wondertart." Everyone looked at the recipe in awe. "I've come up with an amazing new recipe! One bite of this Wondertart, and you'll have complete control over the astral plane!" The chef continued.

"This Wondertart could bring Chalice back to life for good? No swapping places or nothin'?" Cuphead asked.

"Indeed! Just one problem…" Saltbaker replied, "The recipe requires exceptional ingredients held by the most fearsome of foes!"

Cuphead took the paper in hand, and said, "Well, if the Wondertart is what it takes to bring Chalice back to life, then by golly, we'll find those ingredients!" Chalice beamed with happiness, as did Mugman and Chef Saltbaker.

The trio headed outside after Saltbaker gave them a list of ingredients for the Wondertart, the chef wishing them good luck before they left, adding in that, "Like any good bake, heart and soul is the secret ingredient!"

As they excited the Bakery, looking over the list and seeing where the ingredients were held, and by the opponents they had to face, needless to say, they were in for a tough quest.

"Golly, guys. All these new characters look pretty strong. And knowing our luck, we're bound to end up in a fight with all of them. At least it's not for soul contracts though." Mugman said.

Cuphead thought about their predicament before a lightbulb went off. "Hey, I know! How about we ask if they wanna help?"

"Really? Them? Gosh, it would be great to see em again, but our story's finished in their world, so they can't come back here even if they wanted to." Mugman said.

"Don't worry boys." Ms. Chalice assured. "If I know who you're talking about, then I know just the way to bring them here."

Twas a rather slow day in the World of Remnant. A large storm was passing through Beacon Academy, meaning that any outdoor activity had to be postponed until the weather improved. Team RWBY were in their dorm room, each one doing their own activities. Weiss was studying for an upcoming exam, Blake was reading a book (unsurprisingly), Yang was laying on her bunk goofing around on her scroll, and Ruby was playing with Zwei. A knock at the door suddenly snapped the girls back into reality.

"Are we expecting anyone?" Blake asked.

"I don't think so." Weiss answered, getting up to open the door. When she did, she saw a girl with orange hair, green eyes, and a white blouse standing there, completely soaked from the rain outside.

"Salutations!" Penny exclaimed, water dripping from her wet clothes. The voice instantly caught Ruby's attention.

"Penny? What're you doing here?" She asked. Penny walked into the room, leaving wet muddy footprints on the floor, much to Weiss' disgust.

"Well, due to the storm, General Ironwood suggested that I stay here for now, as trying to transport ourselves back to Atlas in this weather could be dangerous." The secret android stated, "I decided to come visit you and your team, if you do not mind me staying, of course."

"Well, the more the merrier!" Yang said.

"Hooray!" Penny cheered, leaping up in the air, getting more rainwater on the floor.

"May I suggest you dry yourself off first?" Weiss snapped, not wanting the cooky girl to ruin the carpet any more than she already had. Penny agreed and went to the bathroom to dry herself off with a towel.

"So, anything you guys feel like doing?" Ruby asked her teammates.

"There isn't really ANYTHING we can do in this weather." Blake said. Ruby knew she was right, and felt really bummed out.

Suddenly, the girls heard the sound of crackling, like an old cartoon playing through a speaker. It was coming from the closet.

"Wait…That sounds familiar…" Weiss said.

Ruby got up and approached the closet, opening it up, and digging through it. She then located the source of the sound; it was from the box of old books from her childhood. The silver-eyed girl gasped upon pulling out the book making the noise.

"Girls, you might wanna come check this out!" She said enthusiastically. The other members of her team, dog included, walked over. What they saw left them in a stand of confusion.

Ruby was holding the Cuphead book in her hands, the same one that transported them to Inkwell Isle. But something was off, the cover looked different. A new character was placed in between Cuphead and Mugman, looking like Legendary Chalice, but with a body, a skirt, and legs complete with heels. The title was also different, as it now read, "Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course." That's when the music box within the book played, but the song wasn't the same as before.

"Cuphead…Mugman…And Chalice make a deal…As a team, adventuring…To help make Chalice real…"

As the girls looked on in confusion, the book shook in Ruby's hands, making the girl drop it to the floor. It then proceeded to open up on its own, a blue light emerging from it. The light went into the air, opening up a portal to a starry void. A familiar face then emerged from it, looking around.

"Gadzooks, it worked!" Legendary Chalice exclaimed. All of Team RWBY yelped and jumped back in shock, Zwei barking.

"M-M-Ms. Chalice?!" Ruby said.

"Well, if it isn't the saviors of Inkwell Isle themselves!" The ghost cup said, "Greetings once again, Team RWBY."

"How the…How….How're you here?!" Weiss shouted.

"Calm yourself there, Ice Queen." Chalice deadpanned, "I'm using the Astral Plane to contact you gals." The team would question her more, but given their previous experience in the cartoon world, they decided not to.

"Well, why're you here?" Blake asked.

"Well, Inkwell Isle is in need of your heroism once again, or rather, I'M in need of your heroism once again." Chalice explained, "I'll explain everything when we get to Inkwell Isle. That is, if you're coming." The girls looked at each other, waiting for someone to say something. That's when Penny emerged from the bathroom.

"I'm done!" She said cheerfully, "Now, how shall we-" She then saw Ms. Chalice floating there, stopping herself mid-sentence. "Erm, why is there a hologram coming out of that book?"

"It's a long story, Penny." Ruby said.

"Well…I'm down to go." Yang said, "I mean, we got nothing else to do."

"While I would rather not experience the nightmarish time we spent there again," Weiss stated, "as a huntress in training, I cannot turn down someone in need."

"That's really humble of you, Weiss." Blake added, agreeing to go as well.

"Penny, do you wanna come with us?" Ruby asked.

"Go where?" Penny asked back.

"You'll see!" Ruby replied, "What about you, Zwei?" The corgi barked in response, wagging his tail excitedly. "Well, that settles it. We're ready to go, Chalice."

"Then hop on in, everyone!" Chalice said, "And hold onto your keisteers, interdimensional traveling can get a bit bumpy!"

With that, the ghost vanished into the portal, which expanded to accommodate the huntresses. One by one, they leapt into the Astral Plane, Ruby grabbing Penny by the arm, pulling her in with her, Zwei being the last to jump in. The portal closed soon after, the book turning to a new page, as the new story began.
