It was quiet in the Oliver household as the midnight moon shined down on the house. All three Oliver's were sound asleep. However, as the night moved slowly on, Thomas "Tommy" Oliver stirred in his sleep.
"I the king. I will destroy the Power rangers!"
"No," Tommy muttered in his sleep. He moved to his side face full of pain. "No, I will not hurt Jason," he muttered once more before his eyes snapped open. He didn't yell out though. He knew that his adopted parents would be in his room in seconds. They were gone all weekend and they needed sleep. Tommy rubbed his eyes. There was no way he was going back to sleep after being brainwashed again. The red ranger sat up in bed and picked up a book that was on his end table. He sighed and started to read.
Tommy looked up from his book when he heard a knock on the door. "Tom are you up? I know it's a three-day weekend but it's almost nine. Are you going to be late for meeting friends or something?" Tommy let out a groan, but he was still being quiet. He didn't want them to know that he was up all night. Tommy took a deep breath and put his book on his nightstand. Slowly he got to his feet and rubbed his eyes.
"Coming dad," Tommy said trying to keep his voice strong. He should tell Jason and the others about his nightmares. It's only been two days since…since.
"Tommy. Phone!" his adopted mother's voice rang from downstairs. Tommy groaned again and took a deep breath. He pulled his hair in a ponytail and smiled to himself in the mirror. He show his parents that he was tired. They must not know. "Tommy, are you coming? It's Jason," Tommy sighed and opened the door. He didn't meet his dad's eyes as he walked down the stairs.
Tommy smiled at his mother and took the phone from her. "Thanks," he said before he put the phone to his ear. "Hey Jase," Tommy said hitting the sleep in the sleep in his voice. However, once he saw his mom leave to go into the downstairs bathroom Tommy sighed. "Jase, it happened again. I don't know where or why the nightmares are happening again. I know it wasn't me but…" Tommy cut off when he saw his dad walk down the stairs.
"Maybe because it hasn't happened in a while. The last time it happened, you were losing your powers. Maybe you're worried again about that?" Jason suggested on the other side of the phone. Tommy sighed.
"Maybe. Hey, are we still going to Eire's later?" Tommy asked looking at his dad. Jason laughed.
"Of course, but we are not done talking about this. Alright?" Jason said making Tommy nod and smile a little. Oh, how he loves his friends but how will he... "I think we should also talk about calling me or the others when you are under attack," Tommy laughed but he didn't say anything to that.
"Alright. I'll see you later Jase," Tommy said hanging the phone on the wall. "Mom, dad, I'm going out," Tommy said picking up his bag. He didn't even wait for them to say anything.
Tommy waved at his friends as he walked over to them. "Hey Tommy," Kat said noticing the tiredness in his eyes. She knew that everyone noticed. Tommy sighed.
'Why did they notice, and they didn't when I was evil the first time?' Tommy thought sitting down. He smiled at them, but he didn't say anything.
"Are you ok?" Jason asked. Tommy smiled but still didn't say anything. He closed his eyes. He wanted to say that he was, but they won't believe him. Tommy shook his head. He looked at his team and friends and opened his eyes.
"No, how can I be? I let myself get kidnapped again. How can I allow this? Why does this keep happening to me?" Tommy said in a quiet voice. Jason and the others shook their heads.
"Tommy, it's not your fault. They just hate you. However, we will help you if it happens again," Jason said laughing a little. Tommy smiled and nodded slowly.
"Alright, but if they want you, I'm going to save you. You own me twice got it?" Tommy said laughing a little.
"You got it, man," Jason said looking around. "Now, it seems you beat me again. Let's see if you can again," Jason said standing up. Tommy laughed and did the same. Kat shook her head.
"Boys," she muttered making the others laugh.
A/N: How was that? This idea came to me while I was in a Power ranger mood again. I know I'm not good at PR, but I will get better at it. Thank you all for reading and I will see you in my next story. -Captain Voxland.
