Chapter One: Arrival At The Pet Shop

"Here you are my lovely girl. I'll pick you up later today." Kora says as she drops Alexis off at the pet shop before leaving.

"Oh I can't wait to see Zoe. It's been too long since I last saw her. Hi Penny Ling." Alexis says as she walks in where the other pets are and sees Penny Ling.

"Oh. Hi Alexis." Penny Ling says as Alexis smiles.

"Have you by chance seen Zoe? I was really looking forward to seeing her today." Alexis says as she looks around for Zoe.

"Uh no. I haven't seen her yet today. But I'll send her your way if I do." Penny Ling says as Alexis nods before walking past her.

*Timeskip*

"There. Perfect. Wish Coe could see this. I know she'd love it." Alexis says as she is making ice sculptures using her ice abilities.

"She really would." A voice says revealing to be Penny Ling.

"Oh Penny. Have you seen Zoe?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Sort of. Oh uh... Alexis?" Penny Ling asks.

"Yes?" Alexis asks.

"Uh um I have to tell you how Zoe feels about you." Penny Ling says nervously.

"You have to tell me?" Alexis asks curiously as Penny Ling laughs nervously.

"I mean I have to tell you that you really stand out to her when you visit us." Penny Ling says.

"I stand out?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Uh yes! Yes you do! Not only that but you smell." Penny Ling says.

"What?" Alexis asks in surprise.

"I mean uh you have canine charisma to spare! especially being a wolf. She thinks you're truly a shining star." Penny Ling says.

"Oh! She said that?" Alexis asks as Penny Ling nods.

"Oh and Zoe has the most uh incredible eyes!" Penny Ling says.

"Penny Ling I already know how amazing Zoe is. I mean she's my best and closest friend. But just one question." Alexis says.

"What's that Alexis?" Penny Ling asks.

"Why can't she speak for herself? I mean she's never had any trouble speaking to me before." Alexis says.

"Oh well it's... Her nose." Penny Ling asks.

"What do you mean her nose?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Wow she really lost it." Penny Ling says as Alexis gives an alarmed look.

"What?" Alexis asks worriedly.

"Not exactly but she um hasn't been herself lately." Penny Ling says.

"I see. Well I'm gonna go over here for now." Alexis says as she walks off.
